Prices were good on some of their wood. They had 300 feet of Bamboo I liked in the warehouse at about half price. Then, it took seven weeks to get the wood they told me would be in within 7-10 days. Since I financed it through them I was approaching my second payment on wood that I did not have. Then, after that almost 2 month wait, they had forgotten to order the thresholds and transitions to complete the job. My installer was the only good thing about the whole transaction so he came back a second time when the boxes arrived at my home. AND it was only the trim material for one of the three types of wood I had ordered- the other ones were still not in. As I write this the wood I ordered in early April has still not been completed as I await the last trim pieces, and a third trip to my home by the installer, on July 17th!! Remember that they did not notify me of any of this even after I had complained to their corporate office- who could have cared less. Run from these incompetent, uncaring, and unprofessional people. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I have to compliment Eli and his sales associates on an outstanding sales experience I received at Lumber Liquidators Oklahoma City. I was quoted a minimal time of 7-10 days for shipment from the warehouse with my bamboo choice but was reminded it depends on production quantities of my bamboo. It wasn't a popular choice but It was what I wanted. It did take longer but I was notified throughout the delivery process. Their selection and prices can't be matched by the big box home improvement stores. The installer Chris Seales and his crew did an outstanding job installing my 800 square feet of bamboo. He gave me tips to care for the bamboo and what makes a quality installation. I encourage anyone who wants a good flooring experience to use Lumber Liquidators. With any home remodel project you must be actively involved from start to finish, ask questions, and be prepared to be flexible!

NOT AT ALL HAPPY.. Ordered my flooring on Wednesday, November 19, Said it would take 7-10 days for it arive in store. Friday November 21, I recieved an email from the warehouse saying my flooring was on its way to the store.. OK everything going good. Well as of December 2nd, hadnt heard anything. So I called the store and they said sure its here, sorry you should have recieved a call by now on it. Well I drove 45 miles one way to pick it up and the guy says sorry your flooring is not here and dont know when it will be. Sugested that I upgrade at a higher price. NO! I want what I ordered, I have designed my kitchen around the floor color. So now I still have NO KITCHEN and NO FLOOR. I can say this I WILL NEVER AGAIN buy anything or send anybody up there to them.

SORRY PEOPLE! DISHONEST!!! They don't stand by their word. They told us to order extra wood and that they would take the remainder back. When we took it back the wood had been discontinued and they decided not to take any of it back. They wouldn't even give us store credit for future purchases. Totally unprofessional!

Well let me first say, the 5 star rating is for the excellent customer service I received from Mark. He took care me through the whole selection and buying process. Any questions I had about installing he was there to answer. I encourage everyone and anyone who is in the market for new flooring to go check out this location and specifically ask for Mark. The manager, Emanuel was also a pleasure to deal with. They had some problems filling part of my order so they had to have it shipped from another store. That process was not as pleasant but at no fault of Mark or Emanuel. Both were very apologetic and took care of me with additional discounts on other items I was purchasing. All in all, I will definitely be back to purchase the flooring for my next project. Thanks guys!

WORST. EVER. This company will not stand behind their documented poor workmanship because the complaint came in 3 days after their deadline. The crew that installed my mother's floor was fired for poor work after L.L. had to replace several floors they had installed. The company's investigator saw himself that the workers used almost no glue, allowing moisture to seep into the floor and ruin it. However none of this matters because of their deadline. While they may be within their legal rights, they provide the absolute worst customer service, and they don't care whether their customers are happy or not. Once they have your money you're basically screwed. With so many other choices out there just do yourself a favor and avoid any Lumber Liquidators store altogether.

This is the first time I visited the store. I don't know much about the products so I was hoping someone would help me as I wanted to replace the flooring in my sitting room, bedroom and dinning room. The gentleman I talked to seemed like he is very unwilling to depart the information. I felt like he has no time for us. He was talking to me halfway then before I had finished he walked away to another customer. . After serving the couple he sat down at the desk so I had to approached him again. He continue to sit down and after getting sample we left. I called back later and wanted to check on the price of instilation. I understand you cannot give out price over the phone and you needed someone to come out to the house to measure the rooms before quoting the price. But this gentleman seems very rude and sounded angry over the phone. He said I told you I cannot give you the price over the phone etc etc etc. I feel like he does not have to be so rude . His name is rocks. He gives a bad name to the company. I heard a lot of good things about lumbar liquidator but he is giving a bad rap to the company. I am sure he must be the same guy who served me at the store

If you get the feeling that this company is shady and run by scam artists please trust your instincts. I had to find out the hard way. Paid for flooring in norman store for pick up in OKC store. when i arrived flooring was wrong size and in horrible condition, but since i was in a rush to finish i reluctantly accepted it. more than 50% of the panels had damage so we had to spend about 30 minutes selecting the usable ones before loading. When I started to install them i noticed they were not milled correctly and had a 1/8 " size difference on the surface which took considerable effort to be sanded out. A day or so later I called the store in Norman to ask about their return policy and I was told that as long as they were uncut and back within 30 days it would be no problem, but when I returned with the material the next day I was basically given the run around by someone claiming to be a manager. I have no doubt in my mind that finding ways to refuse returns is part of their business model for two reasons: one, every time I was able to show that the reason for refusing my return was not correct, he would come up with a new reason out of thin air and two, they make you sign a page long contract with lots of fine print about their return policy. (after you've paid of course) ultimately I did not get money back on the extra material and I am fine with that, but they will never see another dime from me.

When you order something it is expected that it will arrive at some point. I have been waiting patiently for my order, calling each weekend and being promised it will arrive that next weekend. We will call you when they come in. Well guess what, still no calls, and now I am being told there is nothing for me and 2 of my object will possibly never come, even though I ordered and paid for them. This is awful customer service. I do not recommend buying anything from them, especially online.

I purchased both my wood floor and the installation through Lumber Liquidators for my great-room and hallway. The installation of the floor is terrible! There are large (1/8" +) gaps in some of the entryways/ transitions. The edge of the floor is more than 3/4" away from the wall in several areas. Some of the boards in the middle of the room have very large gaps between them. When I expressed my concerns to the installers, I was assured they would come back to correct the issues. No follow up. Trying to get this issue resolved has been a very unpleasant experience.

There's not enough text to summarize my horrible experience with Lumber Liquidators. From start to finish it was absolutely miserable with one mistake followed by another. Months later I still have glue all over my $5,000 hardwood floors. The customer service at all levels has been the worst of any company I've ever dealt with in my life. Save yourself from experiencing a similarly regrettable experience and shop elsewhere. I've never been more disappointed.

I am a female. Ordered vynl flooring. Asked both the sales man and sales associate assured me that I would be fine driving the LOAD from their store on Groesbeck to HOUGHTON LAKE - 3 hour drive in a Ford Fusion. I even asked , once the Load was in the vehicle, are yoy sure this is OK?? I asked if they would send their sister hauling like this and Yes they would he answered!! 2.4 miles into my drive my engine light gives on AND my tire blows!!! I was going 40 miles an hour! Now I sit on the side of a road waiting for a tow truck. If at any time they would have said that this is PROBABLY TOO MUCH ,I would have rented a truck .... Here I fave this company a chance after being slammed for illegal Chemovals in their laminate and I get screwed ! NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY AND I AM GOING TO READ MY RECEIPT FOR RETURN ONCE I GET TOWED ! THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT I'LL INFORMED ADVISE.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT KNOW OR STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS OR INSTALLTION. WE SPENT OVER 10,000 ON FLOORING THAT THEY RECOMMENDED AFTER INSPECTION OF OUR HOME AND IT WAS NOT IDEAL FOR OUR HOME. WE PAID FOR THEIR INSTALLER WHO DID NOT EVEN REED THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WHICH CAUSE MAJOR ISSUE WITH THE FLOOR. THEY LEFT THE FLOOR IN PIECES AND REFUSE TO COME BACK

The price was great in comparison to others. The knowledge was good on what types of wood are best for the types of homes. They did over quote us on the actual amount to purchase. We had about 10 extra boxes when we were done but they did accept them even though they have a 30 day return policy. We bought bamboo which takes 2-3 weeks to adjust before you can install. Very happy and I would recommend them to others.

I purchased the flooring in September and hired the contractors to install the floor through Lumber Liquidators. The install date was a few weeks out and I was told it would take about 3 days. We had issues with the product during the install, Lumber Liquidators blamed their installers and the installers blamed Lumber Liquidators. The install took over 2 months to put in all the flooring however they did not install the trim at all or finish the nose molding to the stairs to a satisfactory condition. I have been calling the corporate office for months only to receive a call back one to offer me a small amount of a refund to not have them finish the work. I wanted to speak with my wife about that option back in December and have been calling back multiple times a week only to be told supervisors are not available and that they will call me back in 24 to 48 hours. I finally was able to speak to a supervisor in the customer service department February 4th and was told she doesn't have the authority to help me and that the supervisor on my file will call me back in 24 to 48 hours. It is now February 10th and I still have not received a call back. I am currently on hold and I was informed a minute ago that the supervisors are in meetings at the times I call. I have called morning, afternoon, and evening and every time I call I get the same answer that they are not available. This process is so frustrating and ridiculous. I do not recommend this company in any way.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. 3 weeks later, I still have no floors and my money has not been returned to me after multiple requests. Customer service is amongst the worst I have ever seen and they are not professional. They sold me hardwood flooring that they had no idea how to install. Instead of making it right and sending new flooring to my home, they sent something that was not even the correct size and definitely not what I paid for. STAY AWAY! Spend the extra couple bucks and use a real professional and save yourself from the nightmare I have been living in.

The first time I got my flooring it was smooth and easy transaction. Flooring was ready and a great quality. The second time I've bought flooring its been a month now and it's still not in. A week ago I was told it was though. We left work early to get down there in time before they close only to sit there for an hour and they read the order wrong my flooring wasnt there. They said they will give me two free boxes and 5% back on my debit card for my time. Still waiting on both to be received.

My husband and I came Oct 30, 2015 and were delighted with the great service. I don't know how this place has bad reviews. The employees were very helpful, accommodating, and especially KNOWLEDGEABLE. We got great ideas, and advice for several different projects we are working on. And they actually cared about us, and our business. The main guy said, "any price you find elsewhere, I will match it and make it worth your time. Because we want your business." That kind of attitude is the kind of attitude I want to work with.

The staff that I worked with at the store are very nice, but not very dependable. Especially when it comes to returning phone calls. If I had a nickel for every time I was told my call would be returned, and then wasn't, I'd have a pocket full of nickels. Then it takes longer than quoted to get the materials in from the main store. The quality of the laminate I purchased is horrible. Within two weeks of the installation, the laminate started to peel up and is not level. Now I am at the mercy of their headquarters to get this resolved. The lady that I talked to about the issue, acted as though she couldn't care less. I will never buy from them again. Spend a little more and go to Home Depot or Lowe's and get better service and resolution of problems. You get what you pay for I guess. I bought appliances from Lowe's and they were on top of everything.

I've bought flooring from here several times. I’ve had good and poor experiences with their products. It’s a bit of a mixed bag. If you get a defective product be prepared to put in a lot of time to get their corporate to back up their warranty. Unfortunately, the help at the Lamoreaux location also seems to be mixed. I’ve had individuals who were helpful in the past and in a more recent visit (12/27/14) the individual at the front desk was a bit rude and not helpful. I’ve provided 2 stars because I don’t dislike this place enough that I’d never go back but I wouldn’t recommend this being your first stop for your flooring needs.

They are selling this chinese formaldehyde junk, relabeling it to hide the danger, and putting it in homes with children. Very disappointed, tried to do a return within the 30 day time frame, got to store (35 min drive one way) manager told me systems are down no returns. Explained wife just had child and I had to be home to help (I had limited PTO, wanted to be home with my daughter/wife), he said no exceptions. He said he would "loose his job, if he did the return". I returned again 3 days later (had to be w/in 30 days)and he charged me full 20% restocking fee, said that was mandatory and that was store policy. Called 800 number, was told he should have taken the return initially and just did refund when computers were back up. They did reimburse my 20% and apologized for me having to return to store twice. They did also say the restocking fee was up to store and not mandatory. I would recommend any other store for flooring. Based on this I'm sure they will be so helpful if there is any warranty needed. Also side note, their transition pieces are 3x that of competition which quickly makes up for any savings on flooring.

I have to admit, I've had two good experiences with this store, but it's the one time that something goes wrong that really makes you pull your hair out. I placed an online order, called the store as instructed by the website to confirm availability of product and that it was ready for pickup. The store said no problem. I showed up and there was only one person in the store who was on the phone with a customer. After waiting 15 minutes for him to finish, he looked up my order only to tell me that I owed a balance. I reminded him that it was an online order and that I had already paid. He called his store support line and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes the agent who answered couldn't figure out what went wrong and said he'd have to call the store back later. I was sent on my way without my order and no promise of a call or e-mail when my order was ready. I called the following afternoon to see if my order issue had been resolved, no answer and so I left a voicemail. Waited 2 hours and got no callback. Called again, someone answered and confirmed my payment finally processed and my order was ready for pickup. So after two trips and lots of waiting I will finally have my order. Not really a story of convenience, and hardwood flooring isn't cheap, so it would be nice to show a little compassion for the working stiff who has to save up months to buy your product.

There is good guy that works at this store - BUT - that doesn't overcome the product issues you will encounter. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $ at a legitimate hardwood supply shop (even the big box stores will work). Why? Because you are buying the throw-away pieces at lumberliquidators. I had an entire box of flooring (17.6 sq ft) that did not have a SINGLE length in it over 16" long. Multiply your installation time by 2x (at LEAST). And be prepared to throw away significant % for waste (5% - as was quoted - is WAY too low. Cracks, chips, etc will make that number closer to 15% or more). It may save you $, but the cost of aggravation will quickly out-weigh any $'s saved on the surface.

Great selection on floor, kinda hard to find someone to help out. There was another customer in the store looking like he was having a hard time as well. Prices are very low and we are installing our own so its hard not to go with these guys. I'm not 100% i would use them if i wasn't installing, doesn't seem like the process is very easy.

I will never do business with Lumber Liquidators again. First, they told me over the phone twice my order was on a truck and would arrive that Saturday. I scheduled the contractor to be at the job on Saturday, only to find around 11am that day only a part of my order arrived. The customer service I received was horrible. They were rude and told me it was my fault as they do not guarantee delivery (but they had said so on the phone). They also told me they would call the store manager ASAP and get back to me. This never happened. When the final parts of the order arrive I went to the store and received equally poor service. They would also not take back part of the order even before it had left their store because "we do not take any returns on unfinished product". After an hour on the phone with corporate while standing in the local store they offered a 10% discount on the order. This 10% absolutely did not cover a second day's work of contractors AND before they would give the discount I had to wait for an email with a form, print out a form and fill it out and return in 5 days and then they would either send a check or put the money back on my card. When I got the form there was a stipulation that I could not discuss this matter further if I took the 10%. I am forfeiting my 10% discount to publicly discuss my horrible experience with Lumber Liquidators. Look on BBB and consumer affairs. Even though they have good ratings, the company has hundreds of complaints like this one. You can and should find another store to do your business.

I am so displeased with this store. They sold us pre-padded flooring and then told us we had to buy the extra padding to put under the floors. When we went to install it, we found out that the hardwood floors we bought are not supposed to have padding under it. When we tried to return the padding, they refused to take back the one that was open, even though it was their bad salesman who sold us a product we didn't need. We are taking the issue to corporate. This is completely unacceptable. Their sales people should be more knowledgeable about their product. And if they make a mistake, they should own it. They told my husband he was installing it incorrectly, then we went directly to their website where it says we don't use that extra padding on these floors. So disappointed.

Normally when you place an order something online you get a confirmation that says expect your order to arrive between this date & this date. . NOTHING was provided by L.L. So I called the store a few days later and spoke to Jason. He said “Yes, I see your order but you won’t get ½ of this stuff I don’t even know why we sell it, almost all these items are sold out or haven’t been available for a long time.” I said will can you see what you have and call me back his reply sure but it will take me a few hours. THREE days passed so I called and spoke to Kikko(←spelling?) He said Oh yes I see your order in here Jason has pulled nothing for it. So I asked if would please pull the items and call me when it was ready, he said “I will try but we are busy” So three more days passed never did I get a call! So I finally drove to the Lone Tree location and was happily assisted by a young blonde haired gentleman (must have been the new guy) I told him that I spoke to Jason, he addressed Jason & again Jason said to him” you can see what we have, but these orders are just a pain because we don’t have very much of this stuff.” Never did he try to help this gentleman AT all nor did he offer any apology to me. It did take a while for the gentleman that helped me, but AT Least he took the ball and ran with it, and happily refunded anything that was not in store

Very disappointed in the customer service. I paid for delivery and received damaged product and if I want a refund or exchange for it I have to find a way to get the product back to the store myself...use my own gas and rent a truck or be stuck with damaged product I paid for and cannot use. I am increasingly overwhelmed by the lack of customer service todays companies present and the outright refusal to take care of their own mistakes. 2 delivery employees were supposed to unload the floor into the garage and only 1 showed up so we had to help unload 1400 sq. ft of flooring because the person was unable to lift the boxes by themselves. If you don't have your own resources to "help" them do their jobs I would suggest you use a more reputable capable company. I would rather pay a little more in the end than to be stuck in this situation when the installers come tomorrow to install and I won't have the material they need.

Horrible!!!! They are rude, nasty scammers. Measured incorrectly, were angry when we returned remaining baseboard that they miscalculated even though it was within their 30 day timeline. They are somewhat helpful before you buy but after they are not your friend and everything is your fault. After we paid about 10,000. For flooring and had too much of some pieces we were short on other pieces which they said was Our fault and would not give them to us unless we paid another $287.00. Manager Matt Rudnick no help and as rude or worse than his employees. One star rating is too much.

Was interested in an item I saw on the website, the sale price wasn't listed, so I asked about it. At first he thought it wasn't the same item (it was) then asked me how many square feet I needed (clearly how they're graded, by sales of square feet). When I told him I needed 410sq/ft, he told me he could only honor the sale price if I bought at least 800sq/ft. I might try another location where they're not lying to increase sales...

The bamboo flooring that I bought is beautiful...too bad it is of VERY poor quality. Installed by a very experienced professional, but as a floating floor over a slab (with the top-end moisture barrier underlayment), this floor separates up to a half inch at about a dozen places throughout my living room every winter. I have a whole-house humidifier and the house is at at least 40% Rh all year. I attempted to claim this defect with LL, but to no avail. They simply refused to acknowledge that their material was defective. I'll never give them a nickel of my business again.

WORST STORE AND SERVICE. If Google allowed me to give them a zero I would. To keep it short and simple, I purchased some wood flooring and trim work. I had to drive around the city to pick up bits and parts of inventory. Luis tells me that the trim would be in TWO DAYS and it is now one week. I call the other rock star Mark at the store and I might as well talked to my walls. I called customer care and they don't care...... Now I have an upset customer with an unfinished floor yelling at me. I informed my customer of my sub-standard supplier so he too can tell everyone about these clowns as well. That's why they sell close outs and etc., they cannot stand up with the pros. This was an eye opener for me and I will never conduct business with them.

We gave them the benefit of doubt and have REGRETTED since!!!! I returned trim (returnable whereas flooring is not) Dec.15, 2011. I was told that a check will be sent to me the following business day. When I still haven't recieved it 2 weeks later, I called them at the store. They told me that I have to call corporate. I call corporate and they initially couldn't find my account because they still have the wrong name and address in the system. Finally they told me that it takes a few weeks to process. I call them again last week of January......they still can't find me under my correct name, but say will mail it out Thursday. I point out that they still have the wrong name and address. They fix it in their system....again (5th time). STILL no check by Feb 4, 2011, I call any they said they will file a claim and will be back to me in 3 days. Today I call (Feb 15th) and they say they have to look over my claim cause according to their records, they already credit everything back to me in store credit!! They asked me what I walked away with last........ NOTHING!!! I returned it! They said they'll look over my transactions and need until end of business day tomorrow. I have never encountered a company that's collectively stupid. If I could give them "(0)" stars, I would.... And I'm not the first to say this....there were other comments here before. Quality of wood from this place to go through such obstacles (the above is only one of my stories). I don't understand how Bob Villa can endorse this because they're so horrible. I wouldn't recommend my worse enemy to go to this place....there are much better places in Chicago.

From the moment we walked into the store, they were exceptionally helpful. I don't know what happened with the other reviewers, but we had no problem. The Bamboo flooring we bought was in-stock and they delivered it the same day. Once it acclimated and we were ready to install, we called them and they scheduled the guy to come out right away. He did a beautiful job. I will use them again when we get ready to do the rest of the downstairs.

Horrible experience from start to finish. From the minute we walked in the store the employees were rude and completely unprofessional. A month later we were finally picking up the flooring that was suppose to arrive in one week. The moldings and trim that they said were ALWAYS in stock had to be ordered when we went to pick it up. After requesting to cancel the second order because it didn't show up on its arrival date, we're now having to wait a 6-8 weeks before receiving our money back. I would highly recommend NOT using this company. There are far too many other businesses to use for your flooring needs!!

We also have had a terrible experience. The floors are squeaky when you walk across them but they do look beautiful. They would not have been hard to install if we went by the manufacturers directions but the store manager at the time told us the way we really wanted to start these floors. His suggestion made it very difficult to lay and since we started and did not have enough to restart or enough money to purchase more, we were stuck continuing this way (making a ton of cuts, ripping boards down the middle-awful!!) Now, any time we need anything from the store or have questions we have to leave a message. No matter the time of day, they do not answer and it goes to an answering machine. They have NEVER returned a phone call (at least 6 times).

As a licensed contractor and commercial account customer, I have never seen a company side step a valid warranty claim like Lumber Liquidators. Their Morning Star bamboo floor is failing all over the country yeilding a class action lawsuit against its manufacturer and lumber liquidators yet they are still denying that the floor has a problem. DO NOT TRUST THEM and take your business to a REAL flooring store that warranties their products...

Unlike the other reviewer, I've never had any problem whatsoever with customer service @ Lumber Liquidators. The floors we got are wonderful, and whenever we had a question, the employees there went out of their way to help. They might not have as many know-nothing employees like HD or Lowes, so you might have to wait a couple of minutes in the store while they are helping someone else out. So what? That's life.

The worst customer service ever! The employees there have no idea what they are talking about and make promises that they can't deliver. My husband and I ordered wood there on Thursday 10/29/2015, the guy said it would definitely come on Nov. 11, possibly Nov. 4. He said he would call us with an update on Monday Nov. 2 to let us know the status of our order. He didn't call so I called them to check, the lady picked up and was confused and said it wouldn't be able to make it this Wednesday Nov. 2. Which was fine, I asked about it being delivered on Nov. 11, she said she wasn't sure so she checked with someone then told me that it would come on Nov. 11. I called back on Tuesday Nov. 10 to see when can I pick it up on Wednesday. The same lady picked up and once again wasn't sure, she then put me on hold and talked to someone. I explained to her what happened and my frustrations with the whole thing. She then told me it would come on Wednesday and that I could pick it up after 3PM. At 5PM my dad, husband and I showed up, the guy told us that it wasn't there, it wouldn't be until the 18th of Nov. I am still very upset with this company and the way they dealt with this situation. I cancelled my order with them and will never come for anything. My dad does constructions and floors, it was our first time using Lumber because its new in the area. We will definitely not do our business with Lumber and will tell his friends who also do flooring to do their businesses else where.

Horrible customer service, rude and unprofessional. Sold me two different color flooring and when I brought them pictures of less then a half of the materials installed, that I've purchased from them, they started giving me attitude and blaming installers, mentioning variations of colors. I guess they need to have better training on the differences between variations and two totally different colors... What a joke....Now, I need to remove the junk they sold me and install different materials that I definitely WON'T be buying from this place.

asked for a very solid flooring product because I have a dog and young children, was sold a bamboo product, and was told it would stand up to anything, within an hour of putting down a couple boards it was scratched. returned to the store were the manager told me I had to go through corporate to return the product for a refund. after weeks of emails, certified letters to the ceo, etc I was told they would not offer a refund, installed the rest of the junk floor and found out I was oversold by a box and a half even though I gave them the exact dimensions of the room, returned to the store to return the unused unopen box where they told me they don't except returns on items sold over 30 days, so the time I wasted trying to get a refund that the manager knew I was never going to get, was just a stall tactic so could never return anything. the only good thing, being a maintenance supervisor, we refinished 6 conference rooms, and didn't buy one thing from them.

The people that run the store do not care about the neighbors. Right now a Penske rented truck is in their Haldeman Avenue dock and it has been running it's engine for many, many hours. The running diesel is spewing pollution all over the street and city. The air is thick with chocking fumes. I have contacted the people at the store and they will not help me. DO NOT buy from these people they are only interested in making money, not the city air pollution laws and will not police their own loading dock.

I would give them a "zero" if at all possible. I paid cash on a product, that was on back order, that I was told would arrive no later that 4 weeks tops. So I patiently waited until the 4 weeks had passed by and still no call from them. I proceeded to inquire about my shipment and was told for the next 3 week it should be in any day now ... until finally I was told "we have no idea when it will be in"... upset I asked what does that mean "we just don't know but you can pick out a different product in stock". So I called the main headquarters to find out that that particular product was oversold by 1 million square feet and it may not come in until December (I ordered and paid for it in June). The customer service rep at the main head quarters even stated that their sales team in the Reno store was giving him the "run around" when he first called too. Ok fine ... so I get my money back right? Noooo because I paid cash I now have to wait another 3 to 5 weeks for a reimbursement check for a product I never received. Completely unprofessional and liars .... Never going there again!

I bought some laminated floors from the Home Depot. I took it back after I found out that LL Inc had the same quality floors for a savings of $450.00. I bought it from them and the quality was not the best. They returned the items no questions asked, no re-stocking fees and even gave us a 5% off on the materials I ended up using for our house. Their costumer service is great. Ricardo, Clint and Ray were friendly and helpful throughout the process. Our floors look great and the best part, my wife is happy!!! I will gladly recommend these guys for all of your flooring needs. As a Real Estate licensee, I am adding LL Inc. to my list of recommended stores for my clients to improve the look of their homes. Thank you guys.

Sales personal were friendly and helpful when we bought the flooring. The bamboo floor product and their response to our product purchase was terrible. We acclimated the floor in our house for 6 weeks before installation.I went back after 4 weeks from purchase and it was on sale for less. Most stores would provide you a refund on the difference, this store and corporate to me to go pound sand. 4 weeks after installation the flooring shrank 1/2"in some areas. Their response was you live in a dry climate and that happens. We were also told how tough the 7 coats of the aluminum oxide finish was on the product. The beater brush on our vacuum scratched the finish and any fine dirt on our shoes. The store personal told us to touch it up with a Sharpe ink pen!! So much for standing by their products. They never followed up from corporate after I called in to complain I WOULD NOT BUY PRODUCT FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS OR THIS STORE

Purchased hardwood flooring in Sept 2010. Within a few months after (professional) installation, boards were warping and cracking across entire house. Initial attempt to rectify resulted in a statement that "low humidity in Reno" was the culprit. I bought the material at the Reno location, at the recommendation of a company salesman on location. I was directed to have a professional inspection done (at my expense) if I wanted to pursue further. After paying $500 to get an official report that clearly states the material is defective, I am being stonewalled. No response after numerous emails and thirty-nine days. One hardwood inspector (who quoted $900 for the inspection) said that I'd be "throwing my money away to hire him" as Lumber Liquidator's standard procedure is to force you to take them to court, and they will deliberately slow the process to a crawl to maximize your legal expenses. It's not just this location. You would be crazy to do business with this company.

They need to have minus stars for this store. We have been working on each room in the house and were onto the 3rd room and stopped by last night, 2/10/2016 to get some more flooring. This is the first time that the warehouse staff was unacceptable in their behavior. We found a forklift load with our flooring outside in the back and the warehouse worker inside playing with his box cutter (getting ready to toss it at a box of flooring) while the manager hung out with him. The worker saw us walked out and pushed our padding off the pallet onto the ground (dirty & muddy) and looked at my husband waiting for him to start loading the boxes. My husband picked up the padding, brushed off the dirt and placed it by the car. My husband put the first box of flooring into the truck and mentioned to the warehouse worker that he did not want the damaged box (he could see the board was broken). The warehouse worker said, "You can use that for your small cuts". My husband repeated, "I don't want the damaged flooring don't put it my truck". The warehouse worker said, "Oh so you are going to be anal about it then". So my husband picked up the pads and took the flooring boxes out of the truck and drove back to see the manager about it. The manager said he would write up the employee. We got our money back. Never going back there. We called the corporate customer service to complain about what happened. They emailed us a survey. Such much for customer resolution a survey, really! Good luck with this place if you have any problems with anything.

Ordered flooring and trim pieces February 7, and picked up flooring on February 11 and was told trim pieces would be arriving at my home that same day (if it was shipped to the store instead it would have been much longer). We planned on having our flooring done February 15-19. The trim pieces didn't show up until February 26, over two weeks late. We stressed to the salesmen upon ordering that we were in a time crunch and he assured all the material would arrive in 4 days. Didn't happen. Then when I returned leftover boxes (5 total) I told the worker about the trim and he changed the subject. Then I pull around back to give them the boxes, and the warehouse employee comes out, looks at them and says "you can stack those over there". Poor customer service for anyone, but especially because I'm a 130 pound girl. Those were heavy!!!!!! Roughly 50 pounds per box. But he came over when I was done to make sure I had signed the paper. I should have read reviews before on google before going here

Have read reviews of customers having a negative experience here. We didn't experience any of that. From the very beginning the employees were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They helped us choose what flooring would be best for our needs and helped us get a great deal. When the flooring was delivered, they called and notified us so we could come pick it up. I didn't have access to a pick up truck so I was worried about not being able to get all of it picked up at once, however they were more than happy to work with me on that. I picked up half of it one day, and picked up the rest the next day without hassle. Thesis helped me a ton because I love an hour away in the mountains above park city and wouldn't have been able to make anything else work. I would absolutely recommend this store to others. We has a fantastic experience here.

I bought 14 boxes of Tranquility 3mm Rustic Reclaimed Oak Click Resilient Vinyl, site unseen I must add, because they didn't have a sample available for me to look at. Worst flooring product I've ever worked with. I guess it's true you get what you pay for. This is a thin, brittle, hard to assemble product. The first box I opened was completely damaged on the corners which made it impossible to use for anything else cut ins. I struggled for 2 days trying to assemble this product. I read the paper instructions, watched you-tube videos, even called the Lees Summit, MO store looking for advice, help, suggestions. Got nothing. They suggested I call their installer. He told me it's an awful product and wished they would stop carrying it. He said he gets tons of call backs for it breaking on the corners and coming apart at the seams. He suggested that I use a bead of wood glue on every single piece to fortify the "easy snap together system". Well, that's fun to learn once you've already laid half your basement floors. I already have huge splits in the seams in high traffic areas like my hallway. To top it all off, the sales guy over calculated the amount of material I needed and now they won't let me return my extra underlayment because it's past 30 days of purchase. I have tons of extras product as well but am keeping that for all the extra repairs I'm anticipating.

Unlike the Horror Stories I've Read, this is a Positive Review~ I just built my home and vowed I would not let Ryland Builders install my hardwood flooring. Ryland's Designer quoted me at $13,000 for the foyer, an office and the family room "roughly 1,000 square feet" and LL quoted me at $19,500 for my entire 3500 square foot home with a military discount. I chose a nice engineered hardwood and while the labor bid was high, after seeing how much work ripping up carpet, removing nails, cleaning up the dirt and dust that Ryland left under the brand new carpet, I'm glad I paid the labor fees. Some people can do the DIY projects but not this girl and something's are worth paying for to do correctly. My installer was fantastic, it took a day to remove the carpet and debris but the workers got the entire job done in five days. They explained the process and stayed on track and answered all my questions. Jarred from LL came out and did my measurements for free and his estimate was spot on. The installers were very professional and Jarred came back and picked up the extra materials not used and refunded the products back to my credit card that I used as a down payment. I financed the floors and am happily taking advantage of the no interest for two years. The floors were on sale when I purchased over Memorial Day weekend and they stored the floors for me until I could close on my house. Cameron and Jarred called me frequently to check on the status of the closing date and I couldn't be happier. They were very courteous, my floors look fabulous, I'm pleased with the service and am relieved my experience was a pleasant one unlike some of the horror stories I've recently read. I guess you need to ask for Cameron or Jarrred, they will take care of you. I am posting 3 months after my floors were installed because that seems to be about the time people noticed some issues... So Far So Good!

Good: Good bang for the buck. Sales folks are pretty good. Bad: Was told 2 different stories about price for coming out to measure (one associate gave me a $25 estimate that would be rolled into the final price, the other said it was free), and was told they could get treads for stairs in my exact size, but when I picked mine up they were 1 ft too large, and the associate said "in this type of flooring, we only carry this size." Not too big of a deal since I can cut to length, but it will be a lot of wasted lumber. Bottom line: If you need decent quality laminate for a good price, and know how to measure and plan it yourself, this is the right place for you. If you are not a DIY person and want top service (and don't mind paying for it), I suggest going elsewhere. This place makes money on selling volume.

I had purchased Santos Mahogany 4 inch width. When installed, the width of the boards were not equal in width so that created a gap between the wood. This was a milling issue and customer service was not helpful. They did not even offer one cent off the uneven cut wood. I paid a lot of money for the wood and I expected quality workmanship and evenly cut wood. Nice exotic wood, terrible quality cut. I guess that is why they call it "liquidators". Can't complain about this place. It has good prices on wood flooring. I noticed people complaining but, seems like it's their own faults. Of Course, Bamboo Flooring is Soft, did you do your research? Also, if you over measure by how much flooring you need...someone needs to have their tape measure or calculator smashed. These things are common sense. I went into the store, the prices are very good for what we were looking for. I already know going in you don't get a good return on liquidated items. Please use common sense on your reviews. You should probably be complaining about your own mistakes. Take care.

Stay away from the bamboo flooring; we were told it was very durable...it is not. Two weeks after installation it started showing scratches from normal wear.; just two older adults in the house, no children driving toys across the floor. Very disappointed. We called Lumber Liquidators within a month of installation and complained; of course they referred us to manufacturer; and they default to the terms of the warranty. Haven't had the floor yet a year and know it will have to be replaced again.

If I could give the Lincoln, Nebraska store no stars, I would. We bought $4,500 of Bellawood solid hickory flooring at the end of November as part of a whole-house remodel. We paid for a professional measurement, which turned out to be less than professional. We let them quote installation, but the price was so inflated we went a more reasonable way. As it turns out, after the floor is completely installed, we have 8 boxes too many!! ...the equivalent of $800. When we tried to return only 6 today (saving extra to match), the store manager pointed out a return document in a pile of paperwork they made us sign at pick-up that limited returns to 30 days. WHAT?! To boot, there is a 20% restocking fee regardless. REALLY? We had to load the entire 43 boxes ourselves the first time with no employee help. The manager was rude to my wife. He admitted that he could return the 6 boxes, but refused to. We have a complaint in at the corporate level. Hopefully they are more professional. BIG customer service mistake...beware...do not work with this store.

What a terrible experience. We should have known what to expect when we came into the store to look at floors and there were customers complaining about their flooring and not getting the help they needed. We were told when we ordered our floor that it was in stock and we could pick it up immediately. So we place the order, put down the $500 deposit, and then magically our floor isnt actually availalbe. They have to order from another store. We were given one date it would be there, then another when that date was missed, then another, then another. We've been at this for about 3 weeks now. We called customer service and they told us someone else was in line ahead of us for the same flooring and had placed their order in May (its September now). All the while, we're being told someone will "call us right back" and yet we're the ones who always have to call back. If someone at the store knew what was going on and/or could give us a straight up answer - it wouldnt be so bad. But being lead on to believe it will be any day now, when in fact it isnt, and not having anyone call you back when they say they will is just awful customer service. Find your flooring somewhere else, unless you can afford to wait 6 months to receive it.

I try to shop local on so many things... food, clothing, art, furniture... but when it comes to flooring I just can't help LOVING Lumber Liquidators! Selection and prices are unbeatable - WAY better than a Lowes or Home Depot type store. The quality is generally good to great, and the sales reps know their stuff. They are very helpful, call me right away when my order comes in, and will work to find what you need and put everything together fast for your contractor to pick up. I'm a Realtor and have done some project management for several clients and for my own investment several timess since 2010 and I can only hope your experience is as good as mine.

I am currently looking for new flooring for the main level in my home. After having a superb experience at this Lumber Liquidators two years ago when I replaced the entire finished lower level flooring, I decided this would be my first stop. The lovely five-inch flooring from two years ago. was not my top choice, but after speaking extensively with the store manager and several of his associates, they guided me to a great choice that has held up well despite the best efforts of my children and pets to destroy it. In fact, it still looks as beautiful as the day it was installed! In any case, I have been in a number of times looking for the perfect wood floor to replace in my open floor plan ranch...something that will look great and hold up in bedrooms and high traffic areas like my kitchen and great room also. The manager seems to maintain a small staff, but they are always helpful to answer all my questions and make certain I understand the benefits of each floor and the complementary installation materials. The personalized service is what keeps me coming back to this store. After visiting a big box store to just check to make certain I was getting the best deal, I was more convinced that this store was not only selling me a good product, but was being upfront about how well the floor would wear and what installation method would look best for my home. I think I've narrowed it down to only two choices and I was excited to learn they have matching trimwork so I don't have to go all over the world to find a perfect match...but most importantly, if I decide to look at more samples or have more questions, I know I won't be rushed or treated like they have better things to do. Good people. Great service. Love my first floor--can't wait to get my new one!

I recently was searching for a specific butcher block countertop but the one I needed (a 12' piece) wasn't available in the St Peter's store. The Lumber Liquidators team worked with me to have the specific piece I needed trucked in from Kansas City and even helped me cut it in half in order to stick it in the back of my van. The guys working that day (whose names I unfortunately don't remember) were extremely helpful and made a potentially stressful situation very easy.

I called multiple stores in the state of Missouri to find a specific wood countertop before I got hold of Nathan in the Columbia store. Nathan told me he could search all of the area stores databases in one swoop so that I wouldn't have to keep calling individual stores. He found the countertops I needed - one in Kansas City and one in St. Louis - and placed an order to have them sent to the St. Louis store so I could pick them up myself. It was a very pleasant experience working with these guys even though I never set foot in their store. When I went to St. Louis to pick up my countertops a few weeks later there were no surprises, hidden charges, or anything except my merchandise ready to take home.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FLOORING FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS! They do not stand behind their product and the claims process is a joke. The local manager would not even take the time to call me to discuss the problem after 2 trips to the local office. No one ever came to look at the defective flooring even thought I was told they would. Once they had my money I was just a number to them. I even offered to buy upgraded flooring from the local store and pay any additional to the installer and location for better flooring but never received a call from the Columbia manager. When I asked the claims people how to file an appeal to the decision I never received a response! My wife and I visited the local Lumber Liquidators location and purchased bamboo flooring. The sales associate indicated it was 30 year scratch resistant. He spoke highly of the flooring and the fact that it would withstand wooden chair and table legs and 2 young boys. We ordered the flooring and after a 3 week acclamation process it was installed. The local store failed to follow up on the order for the base boards and the air vents. Immediately upon installation (within a couple hours of the certified Lumber Liquidators installation) my wife texted me a picture of a noticeable scratch in the new flooring left by the wooden leg of a chair at our dining room table. The wooden table, chair, and barstool legs leave a scratch each and every time they are moved. These are the same chairs that have been on wooden floors for the past 10 years without scratching since we received them as wedding presents. Upon noticing the scratching we visited the local store and began the process of determining if the flooring is defective or not. We were told someone would come out to the house to inspect the flooring. Instead the claims people had FedEx pick up the flooring and "tested" the product to determine if the finish is defective. We received a standard letter telling us the results of the testing and denying the claim. Lumber Liquidators never sent an inspector to look at the flooring. I visited the local office to show the salespeople the pictures I have of the flooring that now looks 10+ years old after just a few months. The associates viewed the pictures and agreed the scratching was excessive. They forwarded the pictures to the manager of the local branch. After not receiving a call within a week from the manager I again visited the store and was told a manager would contact me. Now a full week later, I have not received a call nor have I seen an inspector. All I am asking is for someone to physically inspect the flooring as it is obviously defective to all that have seen it. AGAIN, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LUMBER LIQUIDATORS. THEIR PRODUCT IS NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS AND THEY DO N0T STAND BEHIND IT!

Save your self the hassle and avoid this lumber liquidators. I recently purchased a significant amount of flooring from this store. I have 10 unopened boxes that I was hoping to return; however, the store refused because I was a few days past the 30 day return policy. The lumber liquidator corporate center explained that most stores will make an exception since I was only a few days past the deadline and it was over the holidays; however, this store manager decided he didn't want to help out. This store doesn't care about customer service or trying to keep customers happy.

I brought along my friend Jeff to assist me in my purchase of some wood to make a nice little bench for my bedroom. The staff was quick in assessing my needs as well as cutting the wood I chose for my new project. All in all, we where in and out in less than 40 minutes.

Paid ahead of time for some laminate flooring. They never called to tell me it came in. I finally called them and they'd already gotten it in who knows when, but they had already sold some of it, so we had to wait for more to finish our project. Once again, I had to call and check. When we went to pick up the remainder, they brought out a bunch of packs, most of them having obviously broken pieces in them, and told me to pick the packs I wanted. I told them I can't see all pieces in the packs to see if some hidden ones were broken or not, but I was not allowed to open them to check. This interaction was with a guy in a tank top, shorts, and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, and an attitude to match. Not surprisingly, there were broken pieces of laminate in our packs and they would not exchange them, stating that we were the ones who picked those packs. Nightmare company to deal with.

We purchased bamboo hardwood flooring which turned out beautifully and we were told by the sales person that cork flooring would be perfect for the laundry room. We had it installed and there was some moisture from the washer which warped the floor. We filed a claim and we had the worst possible customer service, they lost the claim and then no one would call us back. The only satisfaction we got was to contact the president of the president. They said the product was satisfactory and denied the claim. The issue was not on the product but that the sales person should never have recommended we put cork in a laundry room where there is a chance of moisture. We verified with several companies and they said you would never install cork as it absorbs water in any area that has a chance of any moisture. We now have a floor that is ruined because the sales person gave us incorrect product information. Because of this I would NEVER recommend Lumber Liquidators as we spent month must getting an answer to our claim.

Beware of their return policy. I bought flooring from this store a month ago. At the time, the guy at the store said to buy 5% more flooring than needed...just in case. So I bought that and a strip that goes between the new floor and the carpet that he suggested I needed. It took three weeks before my installer could come out and sure enough I had one extra box of flooring and the carpet strip that wasn't really needed. So the following weekend I went to return the extra goods only to find out that they don't allow returns after 30 days. The guy said he would have let us return the stuff if it had been 32 days, but in our case it had been 34 days so he couldn't help us...company policy. I have two more rooms that need flooring, but I'll be taking my business somewhere else. If they had been flexible they would have a return customer. As it stands, I'll never buy from them again.

Employees seemed pissed off as if they hated there job. I came here for bamboo flooring. In the end I saved about .40 cents a square foot. Not great but a savings nonetheless. Stood in line for 1 hour waiting for service. Female employee was argumentative and not helpful. As if she expected me to understand exactly how the did stuff here. Then a week later I went to pick it up. And guess what she was the one working the dock and running the forklift. She seemed miffed to have to bring out my product despite the fact that I had made a pickup appointment 2 days before. She was pissed and cussing and racing the engine on the forklift, skidding tires, etc. It could be just this employee, and not the company as a whole but I am NOT pleased. For the minimal saving I might just go back to home depot.

I really was excited about lumber liquidators but our experience has been such a nightmare I would strongly suggest you check elsewhere first. Not what I expected from a store the specializes in flooring. The displays are fine, but the overall showroom is very small. The guys working greeted me and checked on me regularly, but didn't really seem too interested in explaining the entry priced items. Terrible experience with lumber liquidators. There were flaws in the bamboo flooring and when there were problems with it, almost immediately afterward, Lumber Liquidators got out of any accountability by blaming the contractor which is the oldest trick in the world. He is a professional contractor and he has installed thousands of floors. What could he have done wrong? If Lumber Liquidators stood by the product, they would have been at least willing to come see what happened with it. I will start off with the product I received from LL (Lumber Liquidators) was good quality. It was the customer service that I received from the Wichita store is where I was extremely disappointed. I understand in the realm of customers at $2300 in flooring, that I was one of the smaller customers they get. The situation that I ran into was that I underestimated my flooring needs and had to get another box of what I was told multiple times was “their biggest seller and one that we always keep in stock because it is so popular”. (Hand scraped ¾”Tobacco road Acacia) The store manager told me that he was going to have to “special order” the one box and it would be 10 days before it came in. Well lucky I’m not a contractor and had to tell my customer they would just have to wait patiently while their house was in disarray. He then charged me retail price $6.49 sq ft because it went off sale the day before. The guy that I had dealt with the other 2 times was standing right there and he had to look away because he knew that wasn’t right to treat a customer that way and a repeat customer at that. And of course the flooring then went back on sale 3 days later to $5.79 again, (this is where you just laugh and shake your head). So 10 days later…… no call on the status of the 1 box of flooring, so I call (anonymously) and ask if they have a box that I can come in and purchase, the guy says “yes”, so I stop on in, the manager was at the counter and had what I would call an “oh crap” look on his face because he just realized that I was the one calling 3 minutes earlier. Without saying a word I handed him my paper work receipt from paying 10 days earlier and he goes and gets the box without say anything. As he comes out with my “special order directly from China” I ask “how long have you had this?” The gal pops out from the office area and replies “we just got it in an hour ago!” I just turned and he followed me to the truck and I had it loaded and neither one of us said a word….. awkward to say the least. This is not the service that others that recommended LL to me had. I was very disappointed and would be willing to pay that “retail price” somewhere else just to avoid that crew ever again. Sometimes you just have to be honest with yourself and ask “do I like dealing with people and the public?” And if the answer is “no” find work elsewhere but don’t ruin a business that has worked hard to build a good reputation because you’re “not feeling it” today.

Ordered quarter round and additional finishing needs via web site, waited several weeks to receive and finally I called the store to find out what was going on. Found out & waited several more weeks before I was notified via email that the order was in so I called store to verify the order at which they said it was all in. So when I went to pick it up, they didn't have much of the order and told me if I paid several shipping charges I could have it shipped to my home. The shipping charges seemed excessive and some would cost more then the product itself. I was told that the reason there would be several shipping charges was because it wasn't cost effective for them to have them shipped to the store and that different items would come from different warehouses throughout the US. Worst ever experience. I was told that I could have avoided this all by having the order shipped when I placed the order on line, however, I gave them another chance and placed an on line order and paid for the shipping at this time and it's several weeks later and no product & poor communication and I'm unhappy.

The bamboo flooring they sold us continues to contract. Flooring joints are breaking all over the house and the flooring is coming out from underneath all the floor moldings. The floor has shifted so much, the heating vents are now popping out. We have reported the problem to the store, but they wouldn't help. Instead, they told us to call the Lumber Liquidators help line, which has been no help either. After filing a claim, nothing has been done in the last 3 months. I had a Bamboo floor put in in June. The products were all purchased at this store and the Home service store, which the store recommended, put in the floor. A couple of months later the floor started to buckle and come up. The installers came back and thought it was a moisture problem, something leaking like the dishwasher sink etc. I hired a contractor to determine if in fact there was anything leaking. He determined there was no leaks and the floor or glue was defective. He pulled some of the floor up and there was no glue adhering to the wood. I took a sample to the store but they said the corp. office deals with this. The corp office will not back their product and tells me that it isn't the wood. I am now stuck hiring another company to tear out the floor and replace it then going to court to get my money back. The 30 yr warranty they brag about is not even good for 2 months!!

My review is mainly for the installation of wood floors, as well as the follow through to fix problems which occurred during installation. The product itself is fine, and the saleman in Bolingbrook was fair and helpful. We originally saw a product online which was advertised as available in all stores. When we got to the store, they looked up the product and found it was out of stock--kind've put us in a frustrating position. An alternative was selected as it was for new construction and time was a factor. The install was completed from a company whose workers are from Translvania. Two men showed up to install; one didn't speak to me at all, and only in another language to his partner. His partner had broken English, which made it very difficult to understand him and he did not understand my questions or concerns. He did feel comfortable enough to (1) ask me if the house was expensive to build, and (2) tell me that he would not have chosen the flooring that we did.....?! Once complete I noticed glue splattered across the floor in several rooms and on several walls. (It doesn't come off walls). Tools were carelessly placed/dropped on the floor, making marks in several spots. The installer replaced one damaged board, but only after I insisted. Bedroom walls were marked up from the tools used to nail wood flooring, and closet mouldings were also damaged. This is a newly constructed home--damage was at my cost to fix. Several representatives from LL were contacted, all replied they wanted to take care of the situation. So far, no one has offered to reimburse for damage, or to fix the floor. I guess they have their money, so why do they care? I had to purchase wood "filler" or stain to try and blend in scuffs/dents, but there is some I could not make invisible. I would not recommend, or use LL for any other project.

Purchased over $6,000 of hardwood flooring from Bolingbrook Store. Went back to order stair treads in May. They needed the money up front to order. Three months later and several calls, we've canceled the order. Now we're told it will be 3 - 5 weeks for our refund!!! The manager is the worst!!!

Sold the flooring saying that the moulding would be in few weeks later. It's been months and no moulding. How does that work? I wouldn't buy a car without tires.

BUYER BEWARE. Please believe me, if I could give this store negative stars, I most certainly would. I was extremely displeased with my purchase; when trying to lay the floor (snap together laminate) none of the pieces seemed to snap together. Upon closer review of the pieces, instead of smooth edges that should just fit and snap together, each piece had rough and irregular edges. In hopes that it would just be one bad box out of the bunch, I opened up several other boxes (at least 10) and every single piece in every single box was the same-jagged, rough and bumpy. It would've taken weeks just to sand each piece down and even longer to lay it all. I spent $860 on this defective product, and when I tried to contact the store they stated it was no returns or exchanges. Not even store credit! No returns or exchanges on a clearly defective product? Unbelievable. I attempted to contact their corporate offices and they told me the same thing. This company is nothing but a bunch of crooked thieves with poor customer service skills. I will certainly be contacting the Better Business Bureau and doing everything in my power to make sure nobody ever purchases from this store. Do yourself a favor-spend the extra money and go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Lumber Liquidators is a SCAM.

My initial impression was the employees were helpful, however, the store had limited selection. There was also inconsistency in my bill between two purchases of the SAME product. When I inquired about the difference it was evident they did not want to admit nor rectify their mistake. Also on the pieces I purchased there was damage to the product and I was told to sand it and paint it.There are much better places to get your lumber at. Will not be doing business there in the future. You get what you pay for....

Product is on par with similar products at big box stores and price as well. Just be aware that there is a 20% RESTOCKING FEE on returns. The big box stores do not charge restocking fees. Also, you may find a different price in stores than on the website, so do check first.

I think those other 1-3 star reviews must be fakes...and that guy that singled out that "african american male" must be a racist.... The people there are very helpful. Not for one minute did anyone ignore me or treat me bad.. they even offered me a water. I ended buying Acacia made by Schon. The floor is beautiful and fits perfectly in my home. The installer, Tom, did an awesome professional job. I will definitely use him again. My only sorta complaint is that my house was a little dusty, but I saw all the dirt that was under my carpet. I also had a small entry with ceramic tile which also contributed to the dust. So I don't really blame the installer for that... it just sucks. Tell you what though... never again tile or carpet... yuck

I had purchased 4 rooms of hard wood flooring and one year later, I wanted to continue the same wood flooring into my bedroom. I called employee #1, she told me that she would need to find it at another store and would call me back. She never did. I called employee #2, ditto to employee #1, never called back. I then called and talked to employee #3 (manager). He said he was really busy but would find it. It was found at another store and I would have to pay $200 shipping. He was to fax me paperwork to sign. This took another 2 days to receive. At this point, I had to have my installers change their schedule, since the floor would not get here in time. Employee #3 said I should have called earlier. I was told that I would receive it, delivered to my home on Tuesday. Wednesday, still no flooring. I called and was told to call the warehouse where it was being stored. They said they would deliver it on Thursday between 12-5. My installers were going to be there Thursday at 8:00, so this would not work. Three phone calls later, my installers were able to pick it up themselves. This was, by far, the worse customer service I have received in a long time.

We bought some flooring and they said it would be 3 weeks. We called at three weeks and were told it was on back order from the manufacturer, but the modesto store had it in stock. They said that normally they charge 150.00 for shipping but they would.meet us half way at $75.00. We canceled our order and got a refund. They could have offered a comparable in stock flooring at the same price but instead chose to loose $600 in buisness.

As of today 1 week and 1 day after I have to receive my one (1) box of flooring which was ordered paid for and paid freight, Someone dropped the ball big time here and now I'm being asked to wait and see if they can find the flooring at another location across the country and have it shipped? Oy Vey!!!!!...... Last time we do business with this vendor... At this point they are below the 1 star rating as far as I'm concerned. Now let's see how much longer we'll need to wait for this box to arrive? Thinking of asking contractor just to use scrap he has laying around to finish the job? I cannot believe the incompetency of this vendor.. I guess if it's not in the store don't buy it or you'll never get the order in... (WOW!!! One Box- 42 sq feet) makes you wonder.....

I ordered more than $2,000 in wood flooring. I needed one more box to finish the project. Local store did not have any more the wood that I needed. so it was ordered through another store in Houston that I had to pay additional shipping charges. Delivery of the box was supposed to be in 5 days. After one week, I did not receive the box. Called the local store and found out that the box of wood was never shipped from the Houston store. I was given another tracking number and for the second time wood floor was ordered from the same store in Houston. Waited for another week, still no box. Called the store and find out again that box was not shipped. Box of wood was ordered for the third time. I was given a third tracking number that I could not track on FEDEX. I called the customer care in corporate office. They called the Houston store and they promised that the box was going to be shipped the same day. I was given a new tracking number to track the shipment. bunch of lies. unable to track. I sent an email to the CEO of the company complaining about this situation. I got an email that my email is being sent to customer care for action. After three day, I got another call from the customer care with a new tracking number. Three weeks have passed, I have four FEDEX tracking tracking numbers, and no box of wood flooring. Good luck dealing with this business. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am giving it one star, because this is the lowest I am allowed to give.

How very sorry we are for using Lumber Liquidators, especially the newer store in Santa Rosa on Piner Rd. We are now two weeks beyond when our stairs treads were supposed to be in, preventing us from completing our job and subsequently renting our home. The staff there are not returning our calls, and when I last stopped in four days ago, they said the treads would be in that day and that they would call me. Still waiting. We also ordered pre-finished nosing, and when they finally came in, they were half the size of the unfinished ones in the store. Our hardwood floor installer laughed at the look of them. We were not informed that they would look so cheap. Be careful here. Ask questions and perhaps limit your purchase to what you can see, and what they have in stock! However, we will NEVER use this store again!

Gerardo. What a complete moron. I waited 30 minutes to pick up some wood which I had on hold. 5:30 PM roles around and finally I am seen. He checks to see if he has the wood and he does. Charges me, then tells me to meet him on the side of the building to pick it up. 15 minute later he shows up and says he can't get it. It is too far in the back and he wants to go home. Tells me to come back tomorrow. He say "I just want to go home". It's 6:00pm now. I said, for him to get the wood or refund my money. He goes back to the register and prints out the invoice and says here's your refund. I said "this is not a refund it is a invoice. (At this point, imagine had I not noticed this. I would have been charged for wood I never received. How could I prove the next day that I never got the wood?) He then goes and prints out a real refund slip. After I left I noticed this moron charged me a $12.34 restocking fee. Are you kidding me? Now I have to go back tomorrow and speak to the manager to clear up this mess. Where did you find this guy?

DO NOT shop here! Went in on the first day of their "sale". They had 11sq. ft. of the flooring I wanted. But they had plenty of non-sale items and more expensive items. The old "bait and switch", (illeagal in NY). When I went to pick up what they ordered, 3 of 19 boxes were damaged. They had the gall to tell me to "just use those as your cut pieces", and "we allow for 5% scrap". When I refused pick-up they said they would not give me a full refund because of their 20% restocking fee. I threatend to file a complaint with the NY Attorney General in Buffalo. The reluctanly said they would re-order the 3 boxes, or give me a discount on the damaged product. They yelled at me, swore at me, and threatened to call the police when I yelled back at them. If I managed this store I would fire that fat, bearded, ignorant salesman! My first and last purchase from this company!

Im happy with the floor. Although, it had alot of broken pieces which I had to plan around it. They don't call you when you're stuff arrives to the store. They charge you 20% if you return anything. Also, if there's other people in the store you should plan on waiting a while in line while their one and only employee is able to help everyone.

Would rate zero stars, but Google will not let me. Ordered a counter top and was told it would be in the store within 7 - 10 business days. Called after 2 weeks since I had heard nothing even though I was told I should receive a call when it has been allocated on a truck to the store and then again when it arrives. This was over a month ago. I've been told 3 different dates before today and since today was the last date I was told and the material still not in, I cancelled my order. It is a small drop in the bucket for them, but I will be taking my $300 elsewhere. The whole point of going to Lumber Liquidators was because my wife didn't want me to take the time to make a butcher block counter myself... A month later, still no counter, and now I'm ready to go to a REAL lumber store with PROPER service so that I can buy the material to make one. Their loss.

Couldn't have been a better experience and our remodel coincided with their move to a new location (which is wonderful) and we all still had a blast. The Bellawood Bamboo floor in my kitchen is JUST GORGEOUS! It was our first time doing flooring and nail down to boot. Don't scrimp... we bought a 18 ga. nail gun on the internet (top brand) and it was awful... buy their stuff. We bought their Norge gun and BAM worked perfect every time and we flew through the installation.

A little over a week ago my wife and I bought some laminate floor from this location of Lumber Liquidators. After trying for the past week to put the floor down it became evident that the floor seemed to be chipping incredible easy. We tried different tapping blocks and techniques to prevent this from happening with no such luck. This is not the first floating floor I have put down, and I have never had a problem with the veneer chipping back up as you try to put it down. So this was already frustrating but the customer service I experienced upon trying to take the material back is what will keep me from ever returning to another lumber Liquidators. I took back all of my unopened boxes and I brought a few samples to show them of how badly the floor was chipping. When I walked into the store there was an employee behind the register, as I approached him and began to talk to him (he never gave his name) he noticed that I carried in some pieces with me, and at this point I could tell he didn't really care what I had to say. I tried to explained to him what was happening and possibly work something out, during this time he never even really looked up from the computer until I quit talking. Then it was just to say "it's store credit or a 20% re stocking fee, swing around out back". I tried to explain I was only returning it because the material seemed to be poor quality, and that if they would let me I would gladly bring all of it back. He just repeated himself but slightly louder. It was at this point I decided it wasn't worth wasting my time anymore. They made it seem very clear to me that after you buy the product from them they don't care one way or the other how your flooring project goes, and they take no responsibility for the quality of materials that they are selling you.

I wish I could give this no stars but you have to click on one. Anyways my husband and I bought floors from the store at Brice rd and they wouldn't even click together. My brother in law has been doing construction , remodeling, upgrades for 20 years now and he said the flooring they sold us was the cheapest he has ever seen. And they weren't cheap floors. We chose Lumber Liquidators because the price was right, and will continue to go because of the quality and service. We will be replacing all the flooring in our house, and plan to purchase it all from these guys. The showroom is a bit hard to find (it's around the back of the building, facing the highway), and there is often a waiting line. Once it's your turn, you have the full attention of the salesperson. They know their stuff, and work to get you everything you need as quickly as possible. On one order, two of the boxes were slightly damaged, and they gave us those at half price and another at no cost. In the end, only 3 or 4 boards were bad, so we ended up with plenty to finish the job.

I dealt solely with a young man named Shawn. My wife first met him as a walk in. She described him as honest, very knowledge and, "I don't feel like he was trying to lie to me to get me to buy ridiculous things." That meant a lot to me so I committed to business. I walked in to LOOK at flooring, within 15 minutes I was buying the floor for our very first home!!! Shawn made the transaction seem like it was meant to be all along, no haggling, no thrills, just good honest business. Moments after purchasing the floors Shawn read an email about a deal on floors of the same style and color for almost 0.90 cents cheaper/sq/ft. Before me and my wife could agree or disagree, he made the refund transaction. We agreed to hold the balance as credit for future purchases (this part is important for later). The floors would take a while to come in, the following story is why I am wonderfully satisfied with Shawn & Lumber Liquidators. It's fair to state at this point, I bought Shawn as a person before I bought LL as a company. Week of Expected Arrival of Floors: Shawn Calls, floors had a recall at the factory he is working on new dates, looks to be 2 weeks away. Week of next Expected Arrival:Shawn Calls, floors are stagnant for some reason, not sure of delay, he is working on a new date, however looks to be another 2 weeks. I explain we have a deadline, we've already rescheduled, we can't afford to postpone any longer, please pull some strings. The next day: Shawn calls, he found old stock at another store. He is getting them expedited for us at no charge. The next next day: Floors arrive. Now, 3 weeks have passed and I have only spoken to Shawn on the phone. I walk in and he remembers My name, my wife's name and that I have 2 small children whom he hadn't met in over a month. So, the refund from earlier. After realizing LL didn't have the color floors we needed for a smaller project, after a month of sitting stagnant, LL was able to refund our money to our credit card without question. In fact, the refund appeared before we left the store! So hats off to LL in Broussard. Next remodel, I will contact them first.

HORRIBLE!!! I paid over four thousand dollars for the Brazilian Cherry 3/4" x 5" pre-finished hardwood flooring for 700 sq/ft of floor. First, there were numerous defects in my order that I did not find until after I opened the boxes. On top of that, I was given the WRONG underlayment. Underlayment/moisture barrier/noise barriers aren't even necessary. Then when I returned the unopened rolls of underlayment. LumberLiquidators charged me a 'RESTOCKING FEE'. Then since I paid with a check I found out I have to wait 3- 5 weeks to get my refund. I then called the Customer Service Number given to me at this store and was treated disrespectfully by the Customer Care. Please do yourself a favor and find another source for your hardwood flooring needs! Read the fine print too!

My boyfriend and I went to Lumber Liquidators in Claymont, DE today. What an awful experience. Yes, they had good pricing and a large selection, but our salesman was incredibly rude and very pushy. We stopped by Lumber Liquidators to look for new flooring to install over existing flooring. We had a kitchen floor installed a few years ago, strand bamboo, that turned out great. We decided on a specie and finish, Red Oak. We continued to shop other stores when we received an ad for a sale with a great price on the flooring we chose. We returned to LL and asked to get in touch with their installer. We liked the finish from the vendor, Bellawood, and made an appointment with the installer to finalize the amount of flooring and trim. The estimator came out, measured and said he would send the info to LL in a few days. We returned to the store the following weekend, no estimate. LL salespeople called the installation company, finally got the estimator, he said he had some issues and would get the estimate in the next few days. The sales guy at LL had the flooring ordered and in stock based on the measurements I had provided. He agreed to waive any restocking fee due to the mix up with the installer. We were missing some of the trim, he said he found it in Virginia, we are in Maryland, about an hour and a half or so from the VA store. He arranged to have it shipped by the following weekend in time for the installation. We took the flooring and placed it in the house to acclimatize. Both the LL salesman and the installer said we needed underlayment, not to install wood on wood. We purchased the underlayment, a silicone sheet in rolls. The following weekend we went back to pick up the trim, it wasn't there. One of the salesman said my wife said she was going to drive to VA to pick it up. The installers were due to start in a few days. They found the trim was still available in VA and would arrange to get it, but it would take a week. The trim would arrive after the installation. No choice, drive to VA 3 hours or get it late. We decided to wait. LL salesmen were batting .500 at that point. The installation company, All Wood Flooring, upon hearing that the trim would not be there, paid to have it shipped overnight. LL said they did not have an account to do that. Batting average slips again for the obvious lie! How could a company like LL not have accounts with delivery services? Ended up being the wrong piece anyway! The installers arrived a few days later, got right to work. They asked to have someone in the house during the installation, my wife stayed and I went to work. After a couple of hours she went into one of the rooms and saw the flooring going directly on the existing floor with no underlayment. She asked, they guy said it was there, she couldn't see it. She went into the other room, all the rolls were there. we had 2 installers, one in another room, again, no underlayment. She tried calling the estimator, the only contact we had with the installation company, no answer on cell. She was worried that any warranty we may have had would have been void. She took some pictures, insisted that they use underlayment and they stated to do so. A while later she went back into the room, took pictures with no underlayment. They saw her, immediately went and got the underlayment. They lied to our face, insulting!! Infuriating!! There is more, no room here to continue. The installers lied to us, the estimator lied. LL lied to us about our order. The floor turned out great, we've not been through a summer to see the effects of humidity. I think LL can be overcome by knowing what you need and not relying on them for completing your order. Don't use their installer, find one where you can review references and reviews. The installer we had with our kitchen was great, but that was chance. They use several crews.

I purchased hardwood flooring and financed $4,500 on a promotion for 18 months at 0% interest. Sales associate mentioned that the interest rate would go to over 29% after 18 months. He failed to mention that in addition, I would be charged the interest on the entire principal if the account was not paid in full during the 18 months. No late payments. Always paid more than minimum. Had a balance of $500 at the end of 18 months. Now I owe $1.682 because they added the entire interest amount to the $500. This balance now at over 29% interest. Be careful! Read the fine print! Also, read the consumer complaints against Synchrony Bank (financer of these loans). Once you have an account and pay it in full, the bank typically sends a letter saying they have closed and cancelled your account, thereby affecting your credit score. A lose-lose situation. Stay away from any loan financed by Synchrony Bank!

My roommate and myself went to this location to find wood for our downstairs house, and were able to purchase. We paid the complete amount up front, and were told to it would take a week to get the product. Once a week had passed and we had heard nothing, we called. Apparently our item had come in but they did not see it fit to call us to inform us....frustrating but whatever. Today, (March 11th, 2016) we decided to go in to get our product. When we had called asking if it was in, we were told we could come in during any store hours to pick up the product. Clearly, not the case. Today, the manager (Who I did not get the name of) was on the phone as soon as we walked in. He was walking in the back initially and the store front was empty. Roughly ten minutes or so passed. I had my grandfather with me to help pick up, and he has difficulty walking and there wasn't a single place to take a seat. Once the manager realized we were in the store, he began walking around the store front? Which was a bit odd, as he was still on the phone. His phone conversation seemed more about his experience at the store, than what he later claimed was a customer asking for another item due to a defect with their current flooring. As the minutes ticked by, we began to feel frustrated and ignored and we were losing our faith in what we purchased we a good item. We just wanted the product we had already paid for! And his conversation on the phone was much more informal than it seemed to be about his job. My grandfather attempted to get his attention to just let him know we wouldn't need any of their time other than to pick an item up. The customer scolded my grandfather (While he was on the phone with a customer! He was not polite about it and if I had heard anyone speaking to someone the way he did my grandfather I would have hung up). My grandfather simply nodded and backed off. This would have seemed the end of the situation, but the manager decided once he was off the phone to go back to scolding my grandfather as if he were a child! AND NOT A SENIOR CITIZEN. This was unacceptable. I informed him he clearly did not value our time or our money and that I would like to return the product. This seemed to upset him and for the first time, he actually apologized! Apparently, according to the manager we "caught him at a bad time" (his words). His demeanor, his words, and his actions were completely out of line. I work at a restaurant and my entire working career has been in customer service. If I had "scolded" (to put it lightly!) any customer in that manner, I would have lost my job. I understand he was on the phone, and he felt we were being rude to interrupt him, but seeing as his conversation was at a leisure pace and as soon as he was off, he was seething at us, I felt it better to have my money returned and to take our business elswhere. I know to this company my money is a drop in the bucket, but I refuse to support or give my money to any company that would treat an older man this way. My grandfather deserved respect, especially as a veteran and a generally good man. And I hope anyone who reads understands why I've left this review and have decided to take my business elsewhere. I wish we had never done business her and I will be letting anyone I know in the business of purchasing wood flooring that this is NOT the place to go.

I only gave them 1 star because I could not give them a zero. The policy and procedures are so screwed up and geared towards ripping you off. They have no interest in the DIY'r or independent contractor. They make you sign waivers before you can see your product and if you don't like it and want to return, they take 20% for restocking fees and the product never left the building. You can't open any boxes to see if what you bought is what they have displayed in the showroom. If you open the box they Will Not give you your money back. Very horrible and rude customer service reps. And the list goes on!

Worst customer service I have ever had at a place like this. Waited for 10 minutes with one person in front of me. Then, they told me it would be a half hour before they could get my one box. I was taking a lunch break to get this, needless to say, I couldn't wait around for it. Plus, I ordered the stuff on line in February, and they called at the end of April to ask how the product was working. This was the first I had heard from them. Cheap, but I will go elsewhere next time.

We have used many contractors through the years but the quality of work done by this company and this location is far beneath any of them. Poor craftmanship which includes leaving loose door 'bridges', razors left all over the place after work completion, materials left behind as in right in the middle of the floor left behind, and non level floors that caused doors to stick on the floor. Not to mention the fact that soon after they finished the floor bowed into a pyramid shape. In short in a city the size of Houston there are far better alternatives than using a company that creates this type of 'work'.

Price for hardwood was the best around. We allowed the wood to acclimate for 2 weeks but that wasn't enough and the floor buckled up after 1 season. The warehouse was obviously not climate controlled and I think that played a factor. I finally got it fixed and because the wood was 3/4 inch 5 in wide we had plenty to work with. The biggest problem was they couldn't refer me to someone who could fix the problem. They could refer me to someone to install it but not to fix what they had done

We came back another day and purchased the floor we wanted and the next week it was on sale I went back about the difference and was told there was nothing they could do. Nobody in this company takes ownership, they are ready to sell, but I have not seen the customer service we all have come to expect. I'm now waiting for another manager from another store to call and let me know when my final product will be in. This will be my 5th trip and I hope final (crossing fingers). It was the worst experience we had, the floors are beautiful but we had a problem with installation. Installation was delay by a week, excess glue on floor and damage trim. We had an appointment this morning{the third one} to have it installed and got a call at 9am that they were not coming and were not sure when they would come. We have called numerous to ask for assistance in this and they pass the buck. So far we have talked to 9 different people in the store and dealing with installation. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. We have requested to cancel our order but would have to pay for them to pick up flooring {which they delivered weeks ago} and pay a restocking fee. So they have us over a barrel. I am a school administrator and I went to Lumber Liquidators seeking a well wearing flooring product. The staff there suggested a product and after reading about it extensively and seeing that it had a 50 year warranty, I chose that product. I had one of their official installers install the flooring and less than 6 months later it is scratched and ruined beyond repair. (At this point the floor is literally dissolving in chunks!) When I called to see what could be done, I was shuffled to the install company and when that didn't work they requested that I return the unused portion of the product for testing. They determined that it isn't their issue without ever coming out to see our problem floor. As a school in AZ we do not have a surplus of funds and it took us several years to save for the new floor. The fact that Lumber Liquidators won't stand behind their product and has made it so difficult to get any help or information is both disappointing and shameful.

I haven't had any issues with the store in Tulsa, they are the only ones I've dealt with but the staff has been attentive and been honest with me as far as I can tell. I can not how ever vouch for the installers because I did the work myself so this review only relates to the sales representatives and warehouse loaders. I've worked in the service industry for over a decade so maybe i'm more forgiving than others or more patient and understanding? Who can tell. All I know is no matter where you go for services unless you know exactly what goes on behind the scenes there's no telling what customer accounts or problems or unseen corporate orders they are dealing with. I also know that unhappy people are more apt to wright a review so I thought I would give a satisfied customers view for this store. I give them a 4 because they gave me correct advice that they didn't have to give and helped me out with some amateur questions I had.

Extremely unprofessional and unable to execute contracts that they enter with customers. They are currently facing a lawsuit by the federal government for their imported products. Beware of formaldehyde in your laminate flooring! I contracted with the ‪#‎LumberLiquidators‬ store in Tulsa, OK to have a repair job completed back in the spring. It is now November, and I have had no resolution. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of action, professionalism and commitment by the local store, it's installers, and the corporate office. Today I finally received a letter from Kerry, the person assigned to my case. She has constantly lied to me, avoided my phone calls and ignored my constant requests for assistance. Kerry finally sent a letter today offering $250 and issued a credit letter, stating that the company is absolved of the issue. Clearly, the issue is not resolved, as my floor repair job is still not completed. The sad part is, I had previously had a very pleasant experience and have purchased lots of flooring there. I do intend to pursue whatever courses of action are available to try to resolve this issue. The holidays are now approaching, and I still have gaping holes in my wood flooring. Shame on #LumberLiquidators for failing to honor your contracts. #LumberLiquidators

What we found at Lumber Liquidators: Low prices and low quality. We purchased their middle-of-the-line laminate flooring, and while it was priced at less than $1/sq. ft., it was some of the most difficult flooring we have ever installed. (We've installed laminate, ceramic and porcelain numerous times.) Because the manufacturing of their laminate lacked precision, the flooring began swelling and creaking within one month of installation. Do some unbiased, third-party research before buying from this retailer. Their prices are great, but their products are poor.

Got my floor installed in May this year, and have had to call out installers three times. Bamboo would just separate in various spots. Install took a week, then just a few few weeks ago had to have 90% of floor pulled up and redone (which took 2 1/2 days), that was installers 3rd time to my home! Called their company that handles the payments "Home Services" to complain, and ask for some of my install funds back since job wasn't done correctly 1st time was told my concerns would be passed on to a supervisor and they would get back to me. That was almost a week ago! Had at least 15 boxes show up at initial install damaged (more than 4-5 boards sides smashed). Worst experience ever!!! Would not recommend this company to anyone! Without a doubt the worst customer service experience imaginable. Not a single phone call returned, not a single appointment met on time until installation. To get anything done, we had to go yet again in person to get them to even show up. We were also informed that after the installation was complete, we could return the unopened boxes of hardwood. When we tried to return the wood (which by the way, they over estimated by 3 full boxes how much they'd need), they tried to go back on their word and say they wouldn't take it back. This was of course wood purchased based on the square footage THEY calculated. Seriously, take your business elsewhere.

It's hard to generalize an entire company from a single location, so let me say this review is only for the SE Huntsville store. Dealing with Lumber Liquidators has been the single most frustrating experience of my entire home remodel. This store NEVER stocks samples of closeout or "in store only sample" floors. They sold us toxic flooring two years ago. Our two children have been crawling on it since we installed it, apparently exposed to 3x the recommended formaldehyde limits. The CDC says that up to 30 people out of 100,000 will likely develop cancer due to this flooring. I called them to ask what they were prepared to do, and was offered an air quality kit (which I'd already asked for). I said I wanted to get the flooring out of my house and get something safe in there, but he refused to offer me even a slight discount, even going so far as to say that he would be fine with his own children having this flooring. Avoid at all costs everyone, it's not worth it.

Very happy with flooring itself. Unhappy with customer service. Was told at time of purchase that trim pieces were in stock, then as they got ready to total out purchase, asked me if I wanted to pick them up In store or have delivered. On a tight time schedule, I would have gone elsewhere. Was told they offered military discount, once checking out, told didn't qualify because the flooring I wanted was already on sale. I listened to them tell another customer they had a discount, while she was about to purchase a floor that was on sale. They shipped trim pieces to wrong house, my fault for not looking more carefully at address. Once I got the trim, they left a piece out. Found out today that it is shipping, standard home delivery. The manager says they "can not" expedite the shipment. They don't seem to care about customers at all.

Low prices, but poor quality product. A lot of the wood was discolored or had strange marks right out of the box. Six months after putting it in and it is scratched and scuffed. Wood scratches far too easily. Unless you absolutely can't afford it, spend the extra money to buy better quality, because Lumber Liquidators' product will look awful not long after you put it in. Their sales people will blow you off and tell you it is normal for wood to scratch from simply walking on it. Avoid them.

My wife and I are about to close on a new home and are going to put in new flooring so we have been shopping for materials. After looking around in the store, we wanted to ask some questions. We have done enough research on hardwood flooring to understand a little about what's out there but the girl at the counter was very condescending toward every one of our questions. One question I asked was if they had anything wider than 5 inches and she acted like that was ridiculous idea. She said something to the effect of, "you can't even order that" (in a way that seemed to imply, "and why would you want to?"). When asking if you can use a steam mop on it (we heard somewhere that was acceptable) she was kind enough to inform us that "steam is made out of water" and let us know there was no possible way to coat or seal wood flooring to protect it from water. She never attempted to ask us any questions about our project or enter into a conversation with us. After the third or fourth answer, my wife had enough of being made to feel like a child, turned sharply and walked out. I'm sure there are some great people that work for lumber liquidators but unfortunately this experience with one person will cause us to buy elsewhere.

I bought flooring for a dining room here and it was of good quality. However, a reducer they sold me was badly warped. I had just driven 40 minutes in traffic, and, although I thought at the time I should return it, so instead of fighting the traffic again I attempted to install it using liquid nails. I placed heavy weights on it for about three days. After about a week, it started popping up, looking bad and creating a trip hazard. I called Lumber Liquidators and told them the full story, the clerk said no problem, they would replace it. However, after waiting a couple of weeks for it to arrive, and driving to the store, I was told that they would not replace a cut piece of trim, that I would have to pay for it. I consider what they did was misleading. This is the second floor I have used their lumber on, and the last.

They had an OK selection, which was reduced by what was available. We selected our floors and scheduled installation. Clay, the installation manager, "forgot" he was supposed to show up on the appointed day and offered no apology, explanation or compensation. Not even monetary compensation, the we'll-be-there-as-soon-as-possible kind of compensation. He would not answer his phone or return my calls, and when I called the store, Sam, the store manager, would just place me on indefinite hold, once for 40 minutes before I hung up. When the installation team did arrive, Clay never showed up to check in, supervise, or otherwise face his irate customer, they showed up playing loud music and left their disgusting Jack in the Box wrappers all over my new house. They are unprofessional and, true to all of the reviews, severely lacking in service. There are 2 other Wood Flooring places in the same strip mall. We'll be going to one of them to complete the project. $10,000 and two weeks later they have yet to return any phone calls.

Small store needing some cosmetic updates. Estimated two weeks to get flooring delivered to my house.

I shopped here a couple weeks back and was really looking forward to finding some great buys. I would have to say their selection is just ok. The one floor I did really like there wasn't enough in stock and I couldn't get an answer as to when more might arrive. Customer service was lacking, they kinda seemed annoyed with me........ I walked just two doors down in the same parking lot to monster flooring and found some great buys and they were more than knowledgeable and helpful. Basically, this place is a little overrated.

This was the most confusing and difficult home project I have ever done. Purchasing flooring from Lumber Liquidators requires you to deal three companies which I find ridiculous. The written estimate was sent days after I purchased the flooring. The estimate did not include room breakdown which would have made a revision easier. There are large gaps against the wall from one floor board which sits next to a board that is flush. The installer were from another company. Also read the fine print, you are responsible for disposing of all material. I would not recommend a novice home renovator to deal with this company unless you plan on a do it yourself project.

I recently got a flyer in the mail from Lumber Liquidators, it is just a bunch of bull. The prices they advertised were non-existent, or the products at the prices advertised were nothing more than paper glued to mdf (compressed saw dust). When my order did arrive, it was missing the piece for the stair (to connect the floor to the top stair), and they tried to get me to pay extra for something i had already paid for. I would not recommend this store, their advertisements are lies and they just want to get you in the store and sell you somehting at 3 -4 times the price of what is advertised.

We payed in advance for floors from them on line. They require you pay up front for the complete order. The floors kept not arriving when we were told they would. First it was 3 weeks then another 3 weeks and on and on. I called back east and found out what happened. It seems they sold the same floors to at least 40 customers and there were no floors available. Now, we are having trouble getting a full refund and they give us a song and dance each time we email or call. I ordered my floors from another company who knew exactly what they had in stock and exactly what date they would be delivered, and even sent free samples! The prices were comparable. The other company is a Canadian company (on line). Plus they give a 30 day money back guarantee with no restocking charge. Adding insult to injury, not only were we forced to re-buy our floors, we are still waiting for our money from Lumber Liquidators!

What a great experience my wife and I had added this lumber liquidators. We searched for the best product and best price and found it here. To make our experience even better Sergio and Ricky were more than helpful. They spent time talking to us about the product and giving me quick pointers in installation.

Super helpful staff, but watch for little gotchas (if you have extra stock, and your project takes longer than 30 days, they might not take returns, etc)

Stay far, far away. Bad wood is one thing, but the terrible terrible service made a bad situation worse. They held up my addition project 2 months, and broken promise after broken promise, I had to go elsewhere. They claim to sell 1st quality hardwood. They may, but the stuff they sent me was junk. They admitted it was junk. I had to beg them to exchange it, make it right, etc. They did not want to take it back. Service was rude. They kept saying they would call me, never did. I made 5 trips to their store before the situation was finally resolved, but I was out my time, and the project was delayed. They finally took it back, but only after dozens of phone calls and several emails. AND I had to pick up and deliver it my self. The wood delivery was delayed 2x, and when it arrived it was warped and water damaged. Lumber Liquidators admitted the wood was bad, just did not want to do anything about it. When I returned it, they guaranteed they would order a new batch, I waited several more weeks, and they delivered the same warped batch as I returned!!! Warped left, right, up and down. could not stay nailed down. tounges could not go into grooves. Sat in the room for a week. pre-finished, looks like it got wet. Nightmare. Should be forced to shut their doors.

I purchased clearance flooring from this store three years ago. My son and I installed it in the living room ourselves. It is 'Murray Forest Oak'. It was easy to put down, looks fantastic, and has held up absolutely beautifully with constant traffic from myself, an active teen boy and a dog. I loved it so much that I called back to order more for other rooms but I was told it was discontinued and there was limited quantity (this would be my only complaint!). The store located enough for my order and I promptly purchased enough to do two more rooms. Some boxes had to be shipped from an Annapolis store.

This is one business I would give negative stars if I could. Very long story short, they messed up my order 3 times and customer service in-store was unable/unwilling to make it right. Corporate customer service was frustratingly unresponsive, and at times combative and condescending.

The guy that works there knows all of the products they carry. He even showed me material that would work better. Explained the differences and his recommendations. I paid under $1600 for 650 sq/ft of top rated material (poly sheeting- underlayment- vinyl planks). I had been quoted $4000+ by installers/ contractors.

Purchased Morning Star Bamboo Flooring from these guys, and the product was originally installed by one person from All Wood Flooring. Were told it was an acceptable product for our house. About 6 months after install, we starting experiencing board separation in our foyer and by the staircase to the second floor. We had to have the people from Lumber Liquidators come out and inspect. We were told that it was an 'installation' issue. To resolve the problem, they had the installer, from All Wood Flooring (the original installers), come out and essentially re-install the floor back down in those two areas. By the next winter, approximately 9 months after the 're-installation,' we started experiencing additional separation issues between the boards now in the living room, at the juncture of the dining and living room, as well as by the door to the back deck. We re-contacted the people at Lumber Liquidators and the people at All Wood Flooring and were told that we now have to have a national flooring inspector come out to the house, of which there are 5 in the state of Maryland. If that person deemed it was an issue with installation, their cost, which is between $750.00 and $1500.00 to do the inspection, would be covered. If it was an issue with the product in the house, we would eat the cost of the inspection and be left without coverage. We had a separate hardwood installer come out to the house last week and take a look at what was going on. Rather than an installation issue, he thought the problem was due to the boards shrinking in all 4 directions rather than just along the long axis. He also mentioned that the bamboo product of Morning Star is notorious for this issue. He essentially said that this product should not have been used in our house to begin with. Consumers need to be aware of the products being pushed by Lumber Liquidators and the quality of installation from All Wood Flooring here in Maryland. I will be filing a complaint against both companies with the BBB. This is unacceptable. I would gladly post pictures of the finished product if Google review allowed it. People need to see. I will be posting pictures to Consumer Affairs.

You will never get a refund from them. I special ordered some oak flooring and it took a month. It arrived and about half way through the first box the wood was warped, all different widths and thickness and some were even chewed up. I told my contractor to do the best he could thinking I would deal with a refund later. Well after 2 months of ignored email, and not returned voice mail calls, they sent me a copy of the instructions which in few small print says that if any wood is installed that is defective they will not pay for anything. Be very aware of these shysters. My contractor had told me that they will find some reason not to pay and he was right. Big companies don't give a d***.

We spent over 10,000.00 on bamboo flooring and it looked beautiful. In about 1 1/2 years our bedroom floor started buckling. We contacted the store we bought from and they said they would turn the complaint in to the company. After months of hearing nothing we went back to inquire. The "NEW" manager didn't know anything about it so he resubmitted. We finally received a form letter requesting pages of information including several pictures which we supplied. Weeks later we got another form letter stating the floor would need to be inspected by a licensed flooring inspector. We had already had a flooring installer, recommended by the store. look at it and was told the problem was because not enough space was allowed by the previous installer and he used the wrong glue. This was the installer the store was using at the time and the glue they recommended. We were given 2 names of licensed inspectors to chose from. The 1st said he charged 500.00 and the floor would have to be opened up by a contractor for him to inspect. He also said in his experience we would be wasting our time because Lumber Liquidators wouldn't do anything about it anyway, The other recommended name said it would be 3 months before they could even look at it. I even called the lady in charge of these issues at LL and she hung up on me when she got my name. I called back and got her voice mail and left my number. A week later and no returned call. The local store also said they would call LL and would call me back. No call back!! Finally went to Home Depot and found a similar product at a better price. Hope to have new floor down soon as the floor right now is difficult to walk on with several areas buckled about 3" high. DONT BUY FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATERS!! Their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.

DO NOT SHOP HERE: 1. Sales Associates over sell products, and will tell you that the products are refundable when they are not. 2. Sales Associates bully customers into making other purchases/ change their purchasing decisions. 3. There are delays in wood delivery - which cost you in contracting. My project was delayed 2.5 weeks due to a lack of stock and broken delivery trucks. 4. The Manager refuses refunds - despite their written policies. 5. Management knows all of this, and CHOOSES to do nothing about it. This was my first home renovation. Thanks to Lumber Liquidator, it was a terrible experience. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Was very happy with our order, great price, quality material, salesman negotiated fairly with me, was able to get a better price then listed because of the volume of my purchase (4000 sqft house). For the most part the product was great. A few of the pieces come out damaged or broken but I would say it was only 1 piece broken or damaged for every couple of boxes. No big deal at all. I purchased the beartooth mountain oak solid. It just looks amazing. I would recommend that style to anyone.

Good initial sale, horrendous customer service after. Sold me the wrong bull nose and has taken over a month of back and forth calling to order 2 additional boxes of flooring. Inspect your special orders before leaving with your product and ensure you order extra flooring.
