Purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer on 8/29/2015 to have it delivered on 9/2/2015. When it was delivered the guys ran a cycle through on both appliances. The dryer was making a rubbing noise in which I was told that he would let the service dept know but for me to also call. But it would be an easy fix and not a big deal, or they could take it back. Being that this was my first appliance purchase ever I asked him what he recommended and he said to have the service dept look at and then go from there.

When I purchased new Husqvarna mower from Lowe's I was offered extended warranty that would cover all issues with mower. Sounded good to have worry free, so I purchased. One year later have problem with drive, so I brought mower for repair. Was told I had to authorize non-warranty work up to $100! I asked directly that if it was not covered to call me, she said, "Sure." When I returned to pick up they wanted $78 to slip belt back on and didn't even change it!!! Next lie came. They said extended warranty would reimburse. Wrong! One lie after another! Called customer service. They took report and said store manager would call me within 24 hrs. It's now been 50 hrs and counting! Do not purchase any warranty service from Lowe's. It's not worth paper it's printed on.

Called and talked to the assistant manager because I needed a new spark plug for a weed eater I bought there a couple of years ago. I was amazed to find out that they do not carry regular maintenance parts for items they sell such as a vacuum bag for a vacuum cleaner. They sell for an air filter or spark plug for their mowers and weed eaters. I find that unacceptable. Who then am I suppose to purchase this from... their competitor who sells both? Bad move Lowe's!

We purchased a Lowe's extended warranty for our Samsung dishwasher. Less than a year after the purchase we had to have someone come and repair the dishwasher 3 times. We asked if they would replace the dishwasher and were told no, because it was under the manufactures warranty. Our dishwasher has broken again and we were informed they will not replace it, because we are now in the Lowe's warranty coverage and it needs to be repaired 4 times all repairs a minimum of a month apart.

I purchased $18,000 of 3/8" bamboo flooring in cash from Lowe's, pre-paid 3 weeks in advance of installation. The estimator came 2 months ahead of the installation, and while he was a nice man, it seemed he might have suffered from slight dementia because he kept asking me the same questions repeatedly. The delivery of materials came in on time and the exact quantities as expected, and our salesperson from the Arlington, Texas location, a great guy named Skip **, has stayed in communication throughout the process.

I am a 67 yr old widow. A small woman and have no knowledge or ability to remove appliances or to install them. I went to Lowe's looking for a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer. I asked the salesman if Lowe's would deliver the new appliances, removed and haul away the old ones and install the new ones. He assured me they would. Based on this I wrote a check and paid for the 3 appliances.

I purchased a 4 burner Master Forge Grill from Lowe's. I took great care of it, went to clean the inside and the whole bottom of the burner box plate had rusted through. Master Forge customer service showed no support and quoted me a price for a replacement box. Seeing the care I gave this grill I feel in now one should this bottom plate of the burner box section E rust out after less than 2 years. Master Forge, poorly made grills to say the least poor company support... Too bad because the outside looks impressive. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover... Never again will I buy a Master Forge.

As repeatedly posted, my unit apparently has a bad control board. I know the store where I purchased the unit will not replace it. I know Maytag will not stand behind the product despite to poor downtrodden Maytag repairman who is still unemployed. I'm going to go to Lowe's in Torrington where I bought the unit and get on the loud speaker in the appliance unit and tell everyone how great Lowe's and Maytag are. This would be the second time I have done this. The control board is likely made in China where all things inferior come from.. The emerald ash borer among them. If the control board had been made in the USA it is likely some kind soul would offer to replace it after all Maytag used to have a stalwart reputation.. Not so much anymore.

In early May I believe it was May 5, 2015 the 7.1 cu ft Idylis chest freezer was delivered to my home. I bought this freezer to store breast milk. Initially the product worked great and kept the milk very frozen to the point it hurt your hands if you had to arrange the milk. However on October 27, 2015 the freezer light was on as if it was working but the milk was all thawed out or partially thawed out. I turned the temp as cold as it would go and it still was not freezing. I am so glad I caught it and didn't have to throw away hours of pumping liquid gold but it doesn't change the fact the Idylis chest freezer is a horrible product. Don't buy it whatever you do!

We purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in September. Granted it was not a high priced one but our previous one was and was suppose to be the quiet one. Well it was not. It did do the dishes good though. But my mother-in-law had a Frigidaire and it worked very well so we thought why not try it. Well it DOES NOT DRY DISHES AT ALL. I will get a service person out but right now it is not acceptable. Our other one was 18 years old and the springs for door broke and they were quite high, but now I wish I had purchased the springs.

I just called Lowe's today to try to order more racks to my freezer and the lady was so gross and rude with me. She screamed on the phone because I was not giving her the right number of the model of my freezer (because I didn't know where to find the number). But she was so impatient and couldn't let me talk or ask anything that could help me and help her to find a best way to solve my problem. Was the second time I had bad time with Lowe's. Today (Nov/9/15 - 8:23am) was with this lady.

The experience with Lowe's has been very confusing. There are some employees that have been great with us, giving service and what we need in time. But since those people don't make the entire store, it is quite disappointing that I have to give such a bad review. We purchased a Kitchen remodeling in May of 2015 to be started 4 to 5 weeks after purchase. We paid for the cabinets and for the countertops and install (just not the rehooking of the plumbing). How their process works is very inefficient because it is someone different for every single thing and they cannot start the next phase until the other person has finished theirs. We got cabinets in about 2 months after purchase date.

Lowe's is not loyal to its loyal customers; at least that is my experience. I am stuck with an ugly porch floor composed of flooring manufactured by Aeratis and sold by Lowe's. I received an inferior looking product to the one I ordered. In addition, more than one third of the boards received were either damaged or defective. I was in a heated dispute with both Lowe's and Aeratis as to who was responsible for weather damages occurring to the weatherproof boards prior to their installation.

We purchased a Eleganza shower kit in 2011 from Lowe's and I noticed small cracks in the base at first. Then it cracked in other places. We contacted Lowe's to get it replaced but they told us they no longer carry Eleganza products so we can't even replace it, so now we have to replace the whole shower kit. Just so upset with them for carrying such shabby materials!

I called to complain starting on Sept. 22nd. I thought it was the filter but that wasn't the problem. Mr. Appliance came out on October 1. The same day my husband came from the hospital, he just had open heart surgery. Mr. Appliance said 7 to 10 days for the part, now the date is October 22. No phone calls, no repair man. I have no food, no ice. I keep calling, no one will fix my problem.

The website clearly states the store opens at 8 a.m. on Sundays. The store did not open until 9 a.m. Employees at the store were unfriendly and unconcerned about the discrepancy. There was also no manager on duty to address this issue. While I waited outside to speak with a manager for over 30 minutes to inquire about the hours multitudes of people came to the store disappointed that the store was not open. All had the same complaint about the website's hours listed. This store needs a refresher course in customer service.

Lowe's Protection Plans; beware in buying a Samsung washer and warranty. I purchased a Samsung washer, after 3 years started having issues, goes to final spin, back to rinse and repeats. Called warranty service is where the nightmare started. The washer still not working!!!

For those of you looking to have Lowes install windows in your home please think twice about that! We had the West Jordan, Utah Lowes come and install windows in our home, 12 windows and a sliding glass door. Joey was the man who came and gave us the quote. On August 10th he came back and we scheduled the installation. When we ordered them in July we ordered 12 windows and the sliding glass door but when Joey came back to collect our money he only had 11 windows and a sliding glass door yet the price was still the same. We were very upset that he had misquoted us and then claimed that we chose not to have our garage window replaced. This was a lie because we never agreed to that. He told us he could add it if we wanted but it was going to cost us more. We told him we couldn't do that because we had only a certain amount saved which was what he initially quoted us.

Lowes, Electrolux and Frigidaire is all refurbished junk. I think most everything right now is. They refused to fix a 3,000 appliance that quit (my kitchen built around) and they feel no obligation after five years. I have 7 children and still live with a tiny little bread oven that's it that works. Everything quit and if I wanted to fix, "sorry we no longer have parts" (after 5 years). What kind of company has no obligation to complete and fix? Oh, after bickering with ELECTROLUX (sorry, they recommended calling an attorney). So, stay away from them and why buy if in 5 years you have to hire an attorney. Absolute horrible customer service and company. Not the way I was brought up or the way my grandmother ran her business.

My husband and I bought a new fridge (Samsung 29 CU ft 4 door fridge RF31FMESBSR/AA) on August 31st. It was originally $2,278.80 and was on sale for the holiday for $1600. Great deal, we thought! We bought the extended 5 year warranty and it was delivered the next morning by Lowes. We were so excited about our fridge, we went back and bought a matching Samsung microwave and oven the next week.

I went to my Local Lowe's to buy appliance and asked the sales person for it which cost around 700 dollars. Sales person basically said it is not in stock and why don't just go somewhere and not bother me. Took less than 3 minutes of interaction. I am not sure how Lowe's can make money with this attitude. I thought Lowe's is better than HD and even have Lowe's Stock. Time to sell and never go to Lowe's again.

Ordered a custom door on 10/09/15 from Lowe's in Union, NJ. After 3 weeks door arrived and I went to the store tonight to pick up door. I requested assistance strapping the door to my car. Customer Service contacted employee Carlos ** to bring door and asked for assistance strapping door to my car. Mr. ** hung up on Customer Service. When he called back, he expressed he would not strap the door to the car. A different Customer Service representative called him (Gabby) and he expressed it being a liability issue to assist me to her. I asked if there was a waiver I could sign. I expressed I accept full responsibility for the door. Gabby relayed this information but no response to inquiry was given at that time.

Wanted to order several thousands of dollars in blinds for a new home construction project. After seven visits to the Lowe's store and a lot of misinformation and erroneous quotes, I finally was given a final quote. Previously, the store manager had approved in writing that we were to receive a 10% discount for opening a credit card after the credit card promotion expired (i.e, special promotional rate for one week), since Lowe's was not able to get the blinds order ready in a timely manner.

I bought a $1,500 stainless steel whirlpool gas convection range at Lowes at the end of July. Less than a month later the oven quit working and would only display the message "Fan speed too low, contact service". That was over 2 months ago. Both Lowes and Whirlpool have been spectacularly incompetent since. Each has blamed the other for the problem. It took a month for them to get a repairman out to our house and then he said he couldn't fix it and walked out, explaining that he would call us in a couple days. That was 3 weeks ago... Never did hear back from him. I've been to my local Lowes where the Appliances manager tried to get in touch with the repair man with no success. After weeks like this, the appliances manager told me that if I hadn't gotten help by today, they would just issue a gift card for my purchase price and I could buy a new one of my choice.

We purchased a designer Pella sliding door from Lowes and had one of their installers install the door. First, the day they were suppose to install never happened. Received call at the end of day to reschedule another day. After installer installed the door, asked me to sign that the door was installed and never asked me to check the door and sign off. Without thinking of any consequences, I signed. After we signed, we noticed that there was a slight dent in the door and 2 scratches on the paint. Even the threshold had a dent. Called Lowes and complained and they told us that they will do nothing because we signed off on the paperwork. A large company like Lowes, should try to satisfy customers. This was a very expensive door! It is all about the money - greedy! Will never purchase from Lowes again. Do not recommend.

How can Lowe's send me a letter thanking me for a recent visit and tell me that I was offered a "pre-approved credit account" - which is not true - when I used my debit card for the purchase?? A 30+ minute conversation with Lowe's Corporate office resulted in being shuffled from department to department with no one having or admitting to knowing how this happened. If they knew I was at the store, then this isn't some prescreened offer from information at a credit reporting agency - to me it seems my information was taken without my knowing it and used to generate the letter.

If the website would allow me to give Lowes and their service provider 0 stars, I would. Washer broken for a week and won't get fixed (maybe) until next week. Very poor communication with me as to status or part order and scheduling follow-up to install it. It took many complaint calls to find out what was going on. I paid top dollar for an extra Lowes warranty and haven't gotten my money's worth (and still may not). I should have purchased the machine from a local small business that would stand behind their product and service them in a reasonable time frame. No more Lowes for me, and I strongly recommend that you readers take your business elsewhere.

We purchased high quality fencing material and installation from Lowe's in Anderson, SC. It was the worst decision we ever made. The install was to take 3 days... that was Memorial Day and today is October 21st. For 4 months we have been trying to get someone out to install the fence correctly, finish the install, ANYTHING at this point and all we get is "we are working on a resolution". After 4 months the resolution is simple... give us our $5300.00 back, come get the horrible fence and we will never do business again. Believe me, it won't take much to pull up the fencing since the post were not installed correctly and anytime a storm comes, you can see it blowing in the wind. We have gotten nothing from Lowe's in way of a resolution and the only response we get is an email immediately when I post something on Twitter.

I did not shop at this store but placed a large order online for 12 light fixtures for decorative track lighting. The price was fair and the shipping was promised to be timely. This was important for my time-sensitive renovation. However, not only did the order arrive late but it was 12 of the wrong light fixtures. The most disappointing part was the customer service as they were extremely unhelpful and did not return my phone calls or emails for several days at a time. Rather than issue me a shipping label to ship it back and get the correct items to me ASAP, they insisted I bring my shipment into a Lowe's store and deal with the problem there. They gave me no guarantee that the correct items would be available to order in the store and when I pressed them, they said they would call me back tomorrow. And now one week later, they still have not called. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE from Lowe's. Terrible customer service!

Bought a MayTag Fridge from Lowes 4 years ago with the extended 4 year warranty. Everything was good and working till the last couple months of the warranty left. The Fridges water and ice started to taste like metal. I changed the filter twice and yes flushed it 3 to 5 gallons. Still the same. Called the warranty service they sent out a tech, he looked at the ice tray and the water line that connects to the filter, he tasted the water right after the filter line and at the top dispensing. Tasted same, LIKE METAL. He said i don't know what it is I will tell Lowes. I waited a week for a call then called myself. They said there is nothing they can do. They said It must be the city doing something to the water. NO its not I called the city.So much for paying extra for warranty. Lowes disappointed me, they did not stand behind their warranty. I am not a happy customer. If I cant fix the problem I will by another fridge NOT FROM LOWES.

She even suggested that I buy another one with my own money if I wanted the defective stove replaced! Can you believe that?

I purchased a Samsung too loading washer at lowes a last year with the two year extended warranty through lowes. 13 months in the washer stopped working. This was 6 weeks ago, 4 technician visits, one week of missed work, hours upon hours on the phone with lowes and three different techs later and I am still without a working washer and all lowes can tell me is I have to keep waiting for a repair because I don't qualify for a replacement!!!! Today they installed yet another part and the tech said oh quests we will try the control board next and that will take another 10 business days to come in. I have NEVER had such bad service in my life! To pay almost $1000 for a washer and another extra $200 or whatever it was for the extended warranty and to be left without a washer for now six weeks going on right plus is ridiculous! I'm about to lose my job to keep having. To take time off to be at home for these techs to keep coming! I will never spend another cent in lowes and suggest you shop elsewhere!!!!

Don't buy anything you can't carry from the store. Lowe's is poor on follow up when it fails to deliver. Ordered GE microwave online Jan. 14 -- including Lowe's truck delivery to my home estimated by Jan. 28 (the promised two weeks is a long wait in any event). It didn't show, and I heard nothing I asked Lowe's customer service Jan. 30 for order status and was told I'd get delivery Feb. 7th via something called "Last Mile," with phone call on previous day. I did get the call Friday evening, Feb. 6, saying order would be delivered to my home between 930am and 1130am Saturday. They never showed, though, and no more calls. I telephoned service number Saturday night and the woman who answered rudely blew me off, saying they were "out of stock" and referring me to call Lowe's and saying "We're just a delivery service," and hung up. I have no clue on the next step.

Not sure were they find all the lazy employees.(lumber section ) A trip to lowes to buy lumber is worse than getting teeth pulled. Definatley lack of quality(#2 lumber) at prime prices. The amount of time trying to get it out of the store with employees that run and hide. There Low prices come from lower quality products. Pay attention to quality and how often they change to lower quality tool and products.

Was interested to purchase 3 Pella storm doors. Called Lowes.com customer service to find out about RH/LH swing and was told interchangeable. Rep then said he could take the order over the phone. Okay, let him do that and while we were still talking I rec'd confirmation email. Noticed he had my wrong phone # and he told me couldn't be changed but he'd put a comment in the Order Notes. A couple weeks later after not receiving any further communication I spent an hour tracking down my doors. Their website & the email order confirmation each indicate I'd receive an email when the doors were ready to pick up but that didn't happen. Customer Service couldn't explain why. That's time I won't get back! Interesting when I got to the store the Order Notes alternately stated that they couldn't leave a voice message (on the wrong phone #) but that the customer (me) was notified. I order a lot of stuff online and most GOOD companies send you updates to your order status such as when it ships but Lowe's couldn't even send the email that my $1000 worth of storm doors had arrived. I had to laugh at the comment on their website that they want customers to pick up their items within 4 days. Good thing I called today (3rd day) otherwise what - would they have sent my doors back?!?!?! NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

After ordering a rather expensive French door refrigerator from Lowes of York, PA, we anxiously awaited the delivery which was to take a week. Two days after ordering we received a call stating that frig arrived at store and they would call the morning of delivery to schedule a delivery window for Saturday. Get another call Friday confirming that they would call Saturday set up delivery window. Finally on delivery day we get a call stating that "frig is damaged so bad it probably will affect it's performance, do I still want it?" Unbelievable, no one during the whole week it sat there thought to look at it. This is a very poor way to treat customers although I'm sure they really don't care anyway. Oh well, that's our last purchase at Lowes

I have had two terrible experiences with Lowe's, both related to the order of my kitchen cabinets. I made repeated telephone calls to them trying to find out why my online order of cabinets took approximately one month to deliver (when it was represented that it would take 7-10 business days), and the repeated telephone calls from employees who couldn't provide explanations and had the wrong delivery dates, coupled with a failure to remedy or compensate me for the problems they caused, let's just say that I'm extremely frustrated and will never order from them again. While their products are nice, their transport and delivery system is an utter and complete joke. They will not be in business very long.

However, not only did the order arrive late, but it was 12 of the wrong light fixtures. The most disappointing part was the customer service as they were extremely unhelpful, and did not return my phone calls or emails for several days at a time. Rather than issue me a shipping label to ship it back and get the correct items to me ASAP, they insisted I bring my shipment into a Lowes store and deal with the problem there. They gave me no guarantee that the correct items would be available to order in the store, and when I pressed them, they said they would call me back tomorrow, and now one week later they still have not called. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE from Lowes - terrible customer service!

Lowe's has always been my go-to store for hardware and gardening. They stock a good deal of items that other stores do not have which have uses that go beyond their advertised use, for instance the concrete mixing trays which can be used for fish ponds, above ground gardens and miniature play grounds for turtles and small pets while keeping messes neatly in one place. Their prices are comparable to other hardware and gardening stores and they carry a good variety from different brands so you have a choice as to what you want to use. They often have year-end sales that will blow your socks off at how cheaply you can purchase plants, bulbs and seeds, many for over 80% off. They even carry Yellow Wood products which are hard to find. They have a good return policy if things do not work out as expected. All the plants I have purchased there survived and thrived and the gardening equipment; shovels, pruners, string trimmers are in their fifth and sixth year or use or longer and still functioning like new. The salespeople can be a bit annoying asking if you need help every time you turn the corner, but it is nice that they are there if you need them, though good luck if you want them there to cut a chain or make a key!!! Still, they tend to respond fairly quickly when you press the call button unless you press it repeatedly, then I think they come slower just out or principle. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable and usually older, so more dedicated and on-task and they make shopping fun by creating centralized shopping areas where you can browse. Their indoor garden area has cute garden statues, wind chimes, planters and arrangements so they have a good option of gift giving ideas to brighten up the home and garden as well. Check-out lines are rarely long and move quickly and you can order on-line and pick up at the store. It is rare to find anything that is not in stock.

My wife and I have shopped there for several years, but we've switched to Home Depot. Overall, the sales staff has been knowledgeable and helpful, BUT, we're sick and tired of listening to messages in SPANISH over the loudspeaker and we're also beyond tired of being hassled at the check-out by having to endure what seems like a 5-minute dissertation on WHY we NEED to have a MY LOWES card. We explained over and over again that we're JUST NOT INTERESTED in their card and that we're tired of listening to what they have to say, yet, they continue-on with this never-ending speech as though they're deaf to what the customer is telling them about have no interest whatsoever. NOBODY likes being HARRASSED at the check-out stand!

I like Lowes because of the selection of items it carries. However they are not as helpful as they once were and not friendly at all. I tend to stay with home depot because of their customer service instead of shopping at Lowes. At times though Lowes has the best deal or the product I want so I will go there but again lack of customer service does not make me a constant customer of theirs and I go only when I need to

I brought an attic ladder to make it easy access to my loft space. The opening was a non standard size, I found what I needed at lowes & for a very good price. Getting the Christmas tree & decorations down from the attic space has been made easier by this sturdy & substantial ladder & we also added a pulley system to lower items down & hoist them up. I would recommend this to anyone with movements difficulty because with 3" runs to climb on its nowhere near as uncomfortable as a standard attic ladder.

Time and time again, I go to my local Lowes because it is so close to my home. Time and time again, I walk out with nothing because they don't have what I need - either out of stock or they never carried it How can such a big store be so "empty" ???? The employees are helpful enough. The "greeters" are useless - its downright annoying that they waste their time saying "hello" when they might be putting proper price stickers on the stock or doing something else useful. The most helpful ones are those that tell me where I can actually get the item I'm looking for - most often NOT at Lowes. They offer a "lowest price guarantee". I've never tested that, because if I can get the item cheaper someplace else, why bother going back to Lowes and trying to prove that it's the same item to get the same price? Sad.

We don't live very far from a Lowe's, so usually, I just use the website to get prices before I have to go hunt the items down in their massive store. Generally, I find Lowe's to be a bit overpriced compared to competitors on certain items. This is especially true for home needs items like faucets and light fixtures. Occasionally though, they will have a better deal on an item we need. But I dread going through their website sometimes! Even though I am signed up, I still have to fill out zip code information every time I want to see an individual price. If I am comparing several items, that can be a big headache after awhile. What I do love about Lowe's is how fast they respond to an order for say, a large appliance, and how friendly the delivery people are. It may be a local thing, but I like how they chat around about home remodeling and DIY while they are installing the appliances. It make sit seem like they enjoy their job and at least know a little bit about what they are doing! I think the Lowe's website could use some improvement, but you can't beat them for being a one-stop place to get ideas for your home repair needs. Even if you don't buy from them.

Great products and prices, but they don't care about our veterans. This company has successfully limited the 'veteran pool' by giving a 10% discount ONLY to active duty or veterans with a VETERAN ID CARD, which is now ONLY issued to RETIRED veterans with 20+ years, you don't count, effectively reducing the number of veterans they give a discount to. Even a form DD-214, which PROVES your service, is not good enough! Shame on them for not treating ALL who served the same! They ALL put everything on the line, no matter how long they served! It's WRONG to recognize only a select group just to save a buck!

We bought a brand new refrigerator from them and it was priced reasonably. We had to wait to get the refrigerator but as soon as it came in from the Whirlpool factory they brought it over and set it up! So glad to have one in our town, but I know they have hurt local appliance retailers as they cannot sell as cheaply. Employees try to be helpful but many know less than I do. Their end of the season sales are excellent. Nice discount for veterans and my husband uses his discount often.

We have bought little things from lowes over the years, but no major purchases until recently. We bought a washer and dryer ( one of the smart ones)...The delivery people were nice. They got it all set up and then also showed me how to work it so I didnt have to read the manual that came with it...showed me all the features on it, and even wiped it down before they left so there were no fingerprints on it. Its the touches like that which will make me return.

Abysmal. They delivered three two dented stoves, and one who's lower level pot drawer was so badly bent it was off by several inches leaving an wide gaping opening on on side of the drawer, Additionally, the delivery left a deep one foot long and 1/4" deep scratch scratch on my just beautifully restored wooden kitchen floor. there were wood shavings on the floor like someone had puled an ice skate across, or was carving their initially. I warned the delivery person that he was going to do it, when he dragged the appliance across the floor w/o a moving blanket. He said no it would not scratch the floor and then when it did, he just freely walked across my kitchen, turned on the water, grabbed my dish towel and said you won't notice it after I rub it with some water, you won't see a thing. When it was still glaring at us all, he didn't say a word, not even an apology. I wrote Lowe's about the experience and they never wrote back. We now have this ungly 1 foot long, 1/4" inch deep channeled scratch across the floor that has darkened and looks like someone took a graffiti marker or black crayon and ran it across the rust out so they can not be cleaned and put back until they are 100% dry, and all spills need to immediately moped up. The stove 's enamel chipped after three days, when I dropped a spoon from a height of about 3 1/2" inches above it and it nicked the outer edge of the stove on it's it's decent. Now I look at a chip sitting between both jets. There are chips all over it. I have never had an enamel stove ever chip before, even when heavy things have fallen, nor had a major company not respond to a a letter of complaint about it's staff, or come across a delivery person so surly. What adult does not know that if you put a heavy object with a sharp jagged metal edge on a wood surface, it's going to leave a very big and big deep scratch, that won't be helped by a wipe as the varnish is gone. There were no moving blankets used and he refused to use the towel I offered. Our floor was ruined and each year the dent looks darker and shabbier. We spent nearly 1,300 on that floor's restoration. I was thoroughly shocked that he would walk across my kitchen like he owned the place and turn on the tap, grab my dish towel and go to use it on the floor. Not only die he not apologize but he copped an abusive attitude. When I told him I was upset about the damage to the floor that I had warned him would occur if they did not put a moving blanket or towel under it, he ignored me. So I will NEVER buy another appliance from them as long as I live. Opposite experience with Sears and Home Depot, delivery people were smart careful, professional and the appliances we purchased from them have held up beautifully. I would have expected to have gotten a response from Lowes' and the complaint addressed- nothing!

Well i've always been a fan of Lowe's!! I went in today to find a vent for our heater. I asked a guy just standing in a isle where I can find vent filters  and he say's 5!! Really, I thought maybe he is mad at me because I'm different? So rude! I go to isle 5 and no sign??? I ask another associate,  he looks at me like I just farted and says its at the end of the isle to the right! Ok, I still can't find what I'm looking for and stand there for another 20 minutes. A nice man asked if I was ok, discovering I can't get the allergy vent in my size! He explained it's not available here, so I buy the lower version of it. Why are the employees so unhappy or rude? Maybe it's the management and not us! Remember we pay the bills!!! I will think again before I come here!

I've been to this Lowes location about 6 times and everytime I come here I seem to to deal with the same problems. I come here a lot for returns through my job and they always seem to hassle me or give me attitude at customer service, I understand that that I may not always have the receipts; but if I'm just looking for store credit or an exchange it shouldn't be an issue. Even though they need to adjust their customer service, this store still does have many positive aspects, it's large in size, has private parking with security, and honors price matches.

First off no one there has a clue regarding any type of questions regarding plumbing, electrical, or where they can locate anything in that shop. Complete shame.       And don't try to return anything, it's like spending a day at the dmv. They have the worst costumer service. I felt it was my duty to write this review to y'all #Yelpers! If you were like me and thought that Lowe's in Bayview was your only option for your small home improvement project for your overpriced apartment in San Francisco, let me tell you another option that is in the city so you can skip an unnecessary Uber/Lyft trip. I wanted to get a simple, wood shelf cut to a specific size and thought Lowe's was my only option (after doing some research and inquiries within the city) I wasted money on Uber Pool just to find out Lowe's saw was not working and the employees there just looked at me and did not give me other options except - "sorry"Then I found out there is an awesome home improvement store in central San Francisco called Discount Builders!! (Van Ness/Market) {www.discountbuilderssupplysf.com} Go visit them for your projects. Everyone was very willing to help me and gave me advice on my shelving project :D They shall have my business for as long as I live in SF!!! Thank you Discount Builders!!

I thought I might spend something over $20,000 on kitchen cabinets through Lowe's but I'll need to take my business somewhere I can actually make an appointment.  I called during business hours four times today and was hung up on four times.  The first time I was hung up on by the cabinets department.  The second and third by the main number operator.  And, the fourth, by the cabinets department again. And no, it's no fault of mine, which I know because I never got past, "I'd like to speak with someone about kitchen cabinets" before getting hung up on. This is the worst store of any kind in the entirety of San Francisco.  Thankfully, Floorcraft is across the street but I'm still going to write a letter to Lowe's corporate.

I've spent the past month, extremely frustrated, looking for a new refrigerator that would fit into the odd-size space I'd have to stick it in.  Naturally, each time I found the perfect fit I'd go on to learn that there'd be at least a month-long wait for delivery, or they wouldn't bring it up the 3 flights of stairs to my apt., or if they would, they'd leave it in the box, say "thank you, drop dead, goodbye" and leave me with having to figure out the rocket science behind hooking up the waterline for the ice maker. Then I found Lowe's.  The perfect fridge, the perfect fit and a terribly reasonable price.  I wasn't really sure that I wasn't in a dream state when they phoned me the day after I placed the order and said that they could be here inside of 30 minutes with my new fridge!  Not only did they haul it up the three flights of stairs (at no cost whatsoever), they happily hauled away my old, useless fridge that magically turns all dairy-based products green overnight. In the heat of a hot summer day, the two delivery men were cheerful, friendly and far more helpful then I was expecting.I really don't know why I had always turned a blind eye to Lowe's, but I'm now a big fan.

If you buy something online and have it shipped here, good luck finding out if you will ever get it. I ordered a dishwasher on the 4th of July. The online estimate for delivery to the store was the 22nd. It is the 6th of August and no one knows when it is going to be in. Talking with people from the store is less than helpful. They have no idea when it is coming. SORRY.Finally, someone calls and tells me to set up a delivery appointment. When I can back to do it, the phone either rings for over 8 minutes with no one answering, someone transfers me and then I get disconnected after another 3 minutes of ringing or I FINALLY get someone and they tell me that they can't figure out when it is coming in (despite someone FROM their store calling me the day before and telling me it is scheduled to come in on the 14th), so they pull attitude on the phone. Please, just schedule the damn appointment like the person who called me previously told me to do. Plus, they don't tell you what time on that day they are going to deliver it. They deliver it whenever the hell they want during that day and you better be there to receive it.

If I could give this Lowe's zero stars, I would do so.  Unfortunately, this is the only home improvement store in SF.  Today, my fiance and I went to Lowe's and consistently received HORRIBLE "customer service."  We started off looking in the garden department for replacement parts for our garden's watering system.  When we asked the clerk at the register in the garden center if they carried garden watering systems and/or parts, he responded he did not know, but was pretty sure they carried them.  He asked if we had looked through the garden center.  We responded that we had and did not see anything.  He directed us to look at the "seasonal section" next to the grills.  Ultimately, after wandering around and asking two other clerks in that area, we were directed to the plumbing section.  Bingo!  We finally were directed to the correct location where we did, in fact, find the parts we needed.  We then wanted to check out the Franke kitchen sinks that were advertised as being on sale in Lowe's weekly ad.  When we went to the isle where the kitchen sink displays were located, we found the "Customer Service Manager" Jeff in the center isle chatting up two other associates.  Jeff was clearly irritated that we were in need of "customer service" and disrupting their personal conversation.  We asked Jeff if Lowe's carried the Franke sink in the apron (farmhouse) style.  He responded that he had never heard of Franke sinks.  We pointed to the Franke sinks displayed in the isle next to him and he responded, "oh," and then stated "the displays are the only ones we carry."  We then inquired if it was possible to custom  order other models and asked if they had a Franke catalog.  Jeff responded that we could make a custom order and should just go and check on line.  We again asked if he had a  Franke catalog in the store that we could look at.  Jeff then begrudgingly pointed toward the center of the store and mumbled to "look over there, there are some catalogs "over there."  When we asked if he could show us, he acted very put out but walked us over to where there was a large table of catalogs.  Jeff repeated that he was not familiar with that brand and walked away.  After my fiance and I looked through the stack of catalogs and could not locate a catalog for sinks or the Franke brand, we gave up and decided to look for the next item on our list.  We walked back to the lighting and, once again, found Jeff standing chatting up the two same workers.  We asked for assistance with the recessed canned lights that were on the end of the isle and were again told that they didn't know anything about the lights, but one of the clerks did to and find a clerk that could help us.  Jeff had returned to chatting with one of the two clerks and the other female clerk was now having a personal conversation on her cell phone speaking in Chinese.  We then went to the kitchen cabinet section to look for custom cabinet organization systems.  We were told by a clerk in the cabinet department that she was not able to help us and that we would need to speak with the other clerk who was helping another couple design their kitchen cabinets.  So, we walked around and located some books published by different cabinet makers to see if they had organizational systems in them.  The entire time we were wandering around the cabinet department with no assistance, the female clerk still on her  personal call speaking Chinese.  I pulled out my phone and took a photo of her and she walked away and Jeff fled the scene.  Last, we went to look for replacement clips for our cellular blinds.  When we asked the male clerk in the blinds department if they carried the clips, he responded that he did not know anything about the part we were asking about.  When we showed him a photo of one, he responded that he did not know if Lowe's carried them.  We then saw a female clerk by the blinds and she knew the part we were looking for and showed us w/here they should be located; however, the parts in the bins were all in disarray and she was not able to find the part.  After she gave up and walked away, we dug through the bins and eventually found the part we needed.  I have to say, that this store has the ABSOLUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered.  The clerks are clearly not properly trained and/or educated about the departments in which they work.  I would rather make the drive down to Home Depot in South SF  where the clerks are at least trained about the products in the department in which they work and they provide much better customer service.  Needles to say, I will not shop in ANY Lowe's store EVER again.  I will take my business elsewhere.

This store is a disappointment. They have a decent selection of items, but they haven't trained their employees on where to locate items and what items are needed for basic repairs.Went to garden area with simple question....four employees in area, but no one knew any specifics about gardenkng. They call for help...and tell me to wait......and wait...I waited 30 min for the associated they claimed would be able to help....the person never responded. But the other employees stand around talking about..They know he's here and not on lunch. Seems like each dept. I went to had one of two problems. 1 no knowledge of area working OR 2. Don't carry the items...suggest looking on line. For this reason....I have to recommend Home Depot...contractor location in Daly city. The staff their stores with industry professionals. It makes a difference. Either hire professional or provide the employees better training, do they can help their customers.

The husband and I just moved back to SF a week ago. We came by this Lowe's to pick up furnishings for our apartment.  The employees who work here demonstrated how horrible the retail industry has become. Why? 1) When asking a staff member where shelving hooks were, they told me to check out 2 different aisles as "it should be somewhere around there."  Seriously?!? Did they not realize how many hooks, nails, bolts, hangers there were in all of these aisles?  2) While I was walking up and down these 2 aisles, I found a couple of employees who were chatting and sharing their Hot Tamales candy with each other. I asked if they could help me find these shelving plugs, and their response was that they didn't know because it was not their department. 3) My husband then asked an employee where hooks to hold pictures were (including pictures of what he was referencing), and the salesperson had no idea what he was talking about. We ended up finding some stuff that we needed on our own, as well as just ordering directly from Amazon. I do NOT see us heading back here in the near future, or ever.

I came to the nursery a few weeks ago and had to ASK ask an employee talking to another employee if he might be free to help me.  He reluctantly told me yes while all the body language said no.  (I stood there waiting for a while to make sure they weren't talking about work.)I asked him what kind of dirt I should buy for my indoor pots, he said I had to choose.  He then sold me the wrong kind (for cacti, not what I have and he knew what I had because I was buying it from the nursery right then and there.).  I believe it was because the proper dirt wasn't out and he couldn't bother.  He didn't know what he was doing. Then I came back to return and got nice help from an older gentleman. However, he sold me outside dirt and I had to give it away.I have another picture of THREE employees talking to each other is a cluster rather than watching to see who they could help

We unexpectedly have to do a bathroom remodel after a near catastrophe.... We went to the Lowe's and Home Depot by Iwilei... Being that we're from mililani, I told my husband that i wanted to shop at our home store.... The young lady that works over by the bathroom area made us feel like we were bothering her by ringing the bell.... We couldn't find anyone earlier so my husband climbed up on a chair to get the stuff that we needed.... It made me nervous... The faucet that we wanted was placed waaaay above on the high shelves and he went to get the stairway on wheels to reach it! Again no one was around.... I found the bell and rang it cause there was no way in hell I was gonna let him do that!!! Finally 2 employees show up after ringing the customer service bell :(So I needed to visit the ladies room and it's dirty.... Paper all over the ground!

I guess it's a Man's World!  I am a widow who lost my hubby a year and a half ago. And it's true, it's a Man's World!Purchased two AC (total came to $1,000+) units paid for shipping, was told delivery will be between 3 & 6 pm. 6:30 pm no one has yet to show up or called me so I called Lowe's. They're running late. Came at 7:30 pm. Asked them why no one called. Cell phone battery dead. Huh? Two of them and both cell phone battery dead! Next went in for a microwave hood model. Was told delivery on Thursday however I couldn't make it and would like delivery on Saturday in the morning. And was told they will call me.  No one called AGAIN. I called the department at 9:30 am and was told that my item is on the truck for delivery between 3-6 pm. NO!  I not going be home at that time and I should have been on the schedule for the AM delivery. The guy said he's sorry but they can schedule it for Sunday. Great, called the Electrician to come over at 8:30 am. Same time I was promised for delivery. Sunday 9:45 am. No delivery. No call. 10:09 am same. . . . So I finally called, was told the truck is loaded HOWEVER NO DRIVER!!!  Now what?  Boy, I was so upset I told them I'll come by and pick it up myself. Today, Monday arrived at Lowe's at 2:35 pm, finally got someone at Customer Service to help me, poor girl all alone with six customers waiting in line. A guy in a Domino's shirt who came after me talked to Steve Hoffman the manager he had the same problem and also lived in the same area as I. I heard his conversation and I guess since he's a guy he got a discount for his inconvenience. Hey!  What about me?  I waited almost an hour to get my microwave!  Oh I forgot, I'm not a guy!  Just a little old widow so no big deal!Lowe's play fair and treat everyone equally!  And get better people to work in the delivery department!!!

Purchased a new dryer last week to replace the one we purchase from them 5 years ago which constantly needs repairs (I know - not their fault).Spoke to delivery on Sunday and told them I would not be home until 3 and requested they put me last on the delivery schedule (I literally live two blocks from the store so I would not think this would be hard).  They show up at 1 when I'm not home.I call them at 3pm and after 20 minutes of trying to speak to someone I'm told they will deliver on Tuesday and will call me with the time.  I asked them to call me on my cel from now on regarding delivery.  Next day.  They call my home phone to leave a message that they are coming in 10 minutes - I'm at work of course because they never called to tell me the delivery window the day before as the said they would.  Assistant manager calls and leaves a message that since I have not been home to receive the dryer they will try again in two weeks.I call him back, explain the situation with his delivery department and he assures me that it be delivered on Friday at a specific time and that they have my cel number and will only use that from this point forward.Get a message on Thursday on my home phone giving me the delivery window for Friday.  Get a call on my home phone Friday morning telling me their truck broke down and they are not coming.REALLY!!!

Terrible customer service today, 11/09/2015. I spoke with 3 different employees to get an item that I found myself. Yes, on my own and no thanks to their help. Funnels. Stinkin' funnels. Funnels to use when I pour chemicals into spray bottles.Darn funnels had me walking multiple times from one end of the store to the other. The first time was when I attempted to look for the item on my own. I searched high and low in tool world, cleaning chemicals, and paint departments. This is what I tend to do when I need to find something at a store, rely independent on myself and don't bother anyone. When I can't find it myself, I then ask for assistance. The first employee said he was 2 days new to the store. He kindly walked me over to tool world where he assumed the funnels would be. Ellen, the second person I spoke to, said it was moved to Garden. I walk to Garden and searched diligently through the isles. No funnels. I walked back across the store to Ellen who says that everything is being moved around to accommodate space for the Christmas merchandise. What am I supposed to do with that information? I'm being bounced back and forth from wall to wall. I ask for more details, if she knows where exactly in Garden is it located. She then tells me she'll call Garden to inform them of me because she unfortunately can't leave her section. I walk away frustrated because I'm being given the run-around.Being back at Garden a second time, I decided to search the in-store part near the Christmas decor. There was an employee fidgeting with a staircase ladder, a middle-aged woman with light-brown hair. She's the third person that I spoke to. She tells me it's either by the so-and-so oil can ma-bobber or the something-something gasket. How am I supposed to know what those items look like if I've never heard about them ever in my life? She didn't give me isle numbers. I figured I'm in the right department ether way, and weaved the isles...Voila! After almost an hour, I found the darn funnels myself. It's a happy ending I may say since I left with what I was looking for: long cuff nitrile gloves, disposable nitrile gloves, respirators, and last but not least... That f-word.

Sorry, but I had to write a second review.  This one is for my wife..so here is what I sent Lowe's customer service via the website.  "I've kind of written off Lowe's because of really bad customer service at my local store.  I mean really bad.  Below is a yelp review I did a few years ago to give you an idea this is not my first time dealing with this.  Well today my wife went to pick up paint and had an even worse experience.  During the middle of the business day (10:30 AM) only one cashier lane was operating.  Because of a problem with a sale at least 5 people were standing in one line for almost 10 minutes.  When an employee came by doing inventory, she was asked by one of the gentleman in line if they could help us out - the employee responded with "I'm not a cashier"...then said "if she needs help she'll call someone".  Well ok then!  Well as my wife stood in line she noticed the paint she ordered was not what she asked for (flat latex).  It was a paint which has a primer in it and won't work for the project we're doing.  So she left the line and notified the employee at the paint counter she had been given the wrong paint.   He challenged her telling her it was the cheapest of the kind and she needed the primer because it was easier.  After questioning her about what the project (to the point it was inappropriate) she deiced to take her business elsewhere as well.  I'm not sure what the issue is with this particular store, but its clearly something management is allowing to happen.  Its too bad because I live in Hawaii and our resources are limited, but my wife and I will pay more and drive further for our home project needs from now on.  Here is the link to some feedback I left on Yelp when I stopped going to the store - yelp.com/biz/lowes-waipa…

I just had a really great experience at Lowes!  I've been here many times but this time seemed to stand out by far.My toilet was running and the handle would get stuck.  With zero knowledge of my problem and a few pictures of the interior of my toilet tank, I headed to Lowes.  I stood in the plumbing aisle then starring at all of the parts.I stopped the first man I could find and he didn't know either but he said he would call someone.  I've been in this position before where you wait and wait and no one ever comes.  Well, I heard someone yell down the aisle "be right there"... not sure if that was for me or not.  Then minutes later an employee came over to help me.  I showed him my pictures and told him my problem.  He diagnosed it to either the valve or the handle.  So he gave me the two parts, told me, in general, and off I went.I needed car wash soap as well so I figured I'd see if they sold any here so I didn't need to make a second stop at another store.  I stopped a younger guy, who rolled his cart to the side and told me he would show me where it is and that the selection was quite small.  He led me there and made nice conversational small talk along the way.I was ready to pay and a cashier was standing outside of her booth looking for someone to help.  She greeted me, quickly cashed me out and said to have a great rest of my day.I can't say enough about the service i received at Lowes today!  And I think my toilet stopped running!  WOO HOO!

Right after we returned home from our trip to Los Angeles, we restarted our home improvement projects.  Uh, it appears that these projects are never-ending because we suffer from "scope creep".  Just when we were feeling satisfied with the work that has been done to our home, we looked at our kitchen and decided to "spruce it up".  Our appliances are still working but, we "convinced ourselves" that they look a bit dated and are probably not as energy efficient as current models. Believe it or not, I actually DO cook and use my kitchen although most of my check-ins may not show it... We had the measurements for a replacement stove, overhead microwave oven, side by side refrigerator and dishwasher.  Also, we had previously researched consumer reports for reliable brand(s) and models in preparation for our purchases. Unlike previous visits, we were almost immediately greeted and acknowledged by sales representative, Kaimi, even though he was working with two other parties. When our turn came up, we provided the model numbers of what we wanted and showed him the floor model.  He confirmed availability and the sales prices for each appliance right away. Kaimi brought us back to his desktop station where he began to schedule delivery, installation and removal of our current appliances. He then offered warranties and described the warranty/purchase program called "My Lowe's". We were pleased with Kaimi's attention to detail, thoroughness, patience and communication skills.  After about 15 minutes, we concluded our sale at the register and felt invigorated with the service that we received.  So, now, all we have to do is wait for our installation appointments and we'll start the New Year with a fresh new start!

This Lowes is kinda meh. I was looking for something in particular and when I finally found help she gave me an aisle number nowhere near the category I was looking for. The garden center is sad. Small and limited selections in herbs and flowers. I only came here because I had a promotional 10% off coupon. I got basil, rosemary and a gardenia. Most plants look sad and are on the discounted rack but they'll end up dead soon so why buy them? Also small seed selections.

Avoid.  Save yourself and take the extra 5 min and drive to Kapolei Home Depot. Staff and management poorly trained, rude and aggressive. They sent an out of control maniac to my home to do a estimate who physically threatened my girlfriend and quoted an install price close to three times the price advertised. Classic bait and switch tactics.  The estimator seemed to have a problem with a woman daring to question how he arrived at his estimate , since he didn't actually take a single measurement, and had to be told to back out of her face and leave our home.  He at one point claimed to own lowes, when challenged he then claimed he was just the manager, when challenged again he claimed he was the manager of installs( all lies). He then got very close to her face swinging his arms in a threatening manner and claimed that the very act of installing a French door was putting the lives of his workers at risk and wasn't going to do that for mere peanuts! As an veteran of the Iraq war, I can attest that the dangers of installing a French door are second only stepping on an IED!!My girl friend then called lowes to find out what was going on and the actual installs manager informed her that THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME A CUSTOMER HAD MADE A SIMILAR COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!  Read the bolded part again and let it sink in.... Lowes knew about his behavior and decided to put my family at risk any way. When I got home from work and found out what happened I drove immediately to lowes and demanded to speak to the manager. I got the assistant manager...who cut me off after 10 seconds to run and see if he could get the installers side of the story....He then decided the best approach in this matter was to usher us out of the store and have us send him an email!  He never apologized. He never offered to make anything right. He simply said that the installer was his friend and he really needed to get his side of the story, and he would review our email. How is this for an Email Kevin?

This is for a worker in the appliance area, regret not getting her name.  She was swamped with people asking questions and ringing up someone.  She came up to my family and I and ask if we needed help.  She was very knowledgable about the appliances.  She was quick, patient, and friendly.  Great service!  Then I went to look for some magnets.  I asked one of the employees. Not very friendly and spoke with a gruffness when giving directions.  I would give her a one star!  But this review was for the fridge experience.

Omg never again buying major appliance with extended protection plan from here we bought a washer 2 years ago a Samsung it took someone almost a week to come out just to see what parts we needed now waiting almost another week for lowes to get back to the repair man to see if they will OK the repair to order the parts btw estimated cost will be way over what I paid for my washer so how hard is it to say they will repair  or replace my washer,  then we have to wait what another week for the parts and who knows how much longer for the repair man to come out to fix it  we thought we bought a new washer which shouldn't have any problems for at least 5 Years but this is less then 2 years old and when ever I call they always say their waiting on so and so or call the repair man who rarely answers his phone and not to mention does not call back. Very disappointed!

I don't like to give bad reviews but in my situation I feel as though I have to for the benefit of other customers. I bought a total of 7 one gallon containers of Valspar interior paint.  They were all suppose to be the same color but they weren't. I went to the store and explained the situation but am having the same problem again.  I am now painting the same large wall for the third time with paint trying to get the paint on the wall to match what suppose to be the exact same color paint. Sorry Lowes this was a big fail for me and has wasted a lot of my time and money. I will not be back to buy paint here again.

I'm tickled pink with this store's location....after all, it's all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.  Tucked across the street from Waikele Outlet Mall is Lowe's - how much more perfect can that be?  If your man is anything like mine, he probably detests shopping and the wait that comes along with it.  Instead of having your man wait for you while you shop - send them here to do their own shopping.  I'm sure he will find something....ANYTHING, that he might could possibly want or need.  It's like giving a kid free reign at a toy store - really it is.Lowe's has a great selection of EVERYTHING hardware you could possibly want.  Their prices are pretty comparable to the area hardware stores.  I've never had an issue to take up to customer service but there is a lot of help nearby if you can't find what you're looking for.

Okay, I guess I'm not the only one who's complaining about their customer service.  I had gone there to just look around, granted I spent money that I didn't have to. However, the OLD female worker (I can't say lady cause she really didn't act like one) was rude. If she didn't like working there then quit and be outside in this humidity. She even the my receipt at me. Never ever going back to a place that does not know how to be nice to their customers.

On a visit to Lowes I failed to get a cart when I came into the store. As I wandered thru the store I started picking up items I wanted and before I knew it I had my hands full and felt like an idiot. At this moment a young lady named "Jennie" came to my rescue and brought a shopping cart to my without me even having to ask. She offered to help me find any other items I might need. My take away thought is that whoever hired and trained her should get a medal, she is a very good hire. I was there on April 9th in the afternoon. Way to go Jennie.

Bought a brand new washer and dryer on 8/1/2015 and it was delivered on 8/13 and the washer was dented badly on the front of the Washer. The excuse given was that the warehouse was dark and did not see the dent before they delivered. Was told that they would have to order another one and it would be delivered the following week on 8/20. We were all set for the delivery and got a call the night before and was told that there was yet another delay and it would be another week. So 27 days after purchase I finally got my set.

The staff are helpful and friendly directing your to the isle and even bay where an item is if you ask. I'm not quick to write a stunning review but this Lowes has been really helpful to us twice now. The first time, I had bought a washing machine and needed it fast. I told them that I absolutely needed it the next day and as early as possible. The manager actually called me, told me who would be delivering it and when they would come. A friendly and professional guy came by himself, seemed like they made a special trip for us, and brought the washer in and took the old one out. A month later I needed a new fridge and thought of them first. The fridge service was similar, the delivery men were professional and helpful.

Awful appliance service. I see why more and more purchases are made online! Waited over an hour in the appliance department on two separate occasions. No one ever assisted us! Kept being told "We'll be right with you". Ended up researching the appliances online while in the store. Placed an order online and left the store Web-site said appliance would've available within 3-7 business days. Never received a call so after 4 days I called Lowes. Was told the appliance would be in on Friday and someone would call at that time to schedule delivery. Well, I didn't receive a call on Friday. When I came home from work there was a sticker in my yard (it had blown off the door) stating "Sorry we missed you. Please call to re-schedule delivery!" Lowes never called me to schedule the initial delivery! I hate these big box stores because they never have enough employees to assist and most of the ones they have don't want to help. Glad on-line ordering is available. Too bad that means less jobs in our local community. Poor service all around at this local store!

Ugh I'm one of those customers, the one with those pesky kids so I have to have a cart and a trolley for my goods. I get to Lowe's (mind you it's nowhere near me but I heard an advertisement for mulch I couldn't pass up) around 3 load my kids up and head for the gardening section. I get to the mulch and I'm 5'10 the mulch is towering over me, no staff anywhere so I have my 5 year old hold the trolley and I start wriggling the bags down. Wait guy in uniform walks by, didn't stop. I get another bag down but it was ripped and dumped mulch in my face and all over me. Finally get 5 bags and I'm noodling to the check out, see another rep texting in plants, doesn't bother to help, check out, cashier sees that I have 3 kids, a cart and a trolley....nothing. So my 5 year old is pulling the mulch across the parking lot, I've got the cart with kids and other items purchased, and a rep named Chris came up and helped load it in the car. He was awesome but the others were sub par. Never going back again.

This is the WORST lowes!! I went in to return 5 gallons of black paint, for my dad so I could get 5 gallons of another color, because the black didn't match. Liz at the customer service/returns desk told me I would have to go find someone in the paint department and see if they will take it back or not. I asked if she could just call to ask or call them over. She seemed so displeased that I would ask her to do such a thing. I asked to see a manager to address the poor customer service issue. When John Odle (assistant store manager) came out of the office to talk to me he was rude from the beginning of our interaction. After I told him about Liz's attitude and the fact that she didn't want to do her job, he got extremely defensive. Then asked me what I was there for, I told him I was waiting on the paint guy to come over to let me know if I can return the paint. He immediately said "NO! No you can't!" I asked why and he asked me what he was going to do with 5 gallons of black paint. I said, I don't know, resell it??..." He then said "For what a discounted price? I'm not doing it!!" When I told him I had returned paint before, he told me he didn't care. I was on the phone with my dad and he asked to speak with John. When I handed him my iPhone he spoke with my dad for only about a minute. His exact last words to my dad were "I was going to try to help you, but not now, not anymore!" Then he proceeded to throw my phone onto the counter, which shattered my screen. I then asked for an incident report. John said he was calling security and went back into the office. I stood and waited for someone to bring me an incident report for about 15 minutes. I ended up having to ask another employee to go into the office an let someone know I wasn't leaving until I got the report filled out and filed. A different manager (Shawn) ended up coming out and told me that if I would forget about the incident report that he would give me the full refund for the paint. I said no, called their corporate office to report everything that happened. Shawn agreed then to do the incident report and give me the refund. Around that time a Tulsa police officer showed up, then out came John. i finished up my incident report and then spoke with the officer.after I finished letting him know what happened, I was on my way. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

Employees are typically readily available to assist, and it is a rarity that I do not find what I am looking for. My only complaint is the over reliance on the self-checkout machines. There is typically only one cashier working at any given. This is irritating if you buy lumber, fasteners, or other items that aren't amenable to self-checkout.

Everything I come to lowes I always have trouble. They have a horrible staff. I can never find someone to help me and when I do they act like I just ruined their day by asking for something I don't know. If you don't want to work with people find a job outside of the service or sales industry. Also the registers are always closed and the self checkout machines always give you trouble. They have this older lady that works on the self check out area and she is the rudest out of them all. I only go to lowes now if I absolutely have to a lot of the times I even prefer to take a trip all the way to home Depot because how bad costumer service is in this place and when your working time is everything something that should take me 5 10 mins usually take me 30 at lowes. I recently went in to the Lowes on Sprague Avenue of Spokane, WA to make a return. I was greeted politely by the clerk (female) Terri, and assisted with returning my packaged item with a receipt. She was very courteous and explained to me the company policies on returns when issuing me my in-store-credit. It was very refreshing to be helped by a courteous good looking lass, whereas I've had bad experiences at other stores. Thank you Terri!

I tried to return a defective water hose in clean condition with original packaging without a receipt to the Lowes store on Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, Washington on Saturday, Oct. 25th at 1:50 PM. Terri (female) was the clerk. She refused to take the item back claiming she "can't take it like that without a receipt". I explained I desired store credit and offered to show my driver's license but she still refused. I had to go to the other Lowes on the other side of town where a "normal", cooperative clerk who actually believes in customer loyalty and service quickly scanned my driver's license and issued store credit. Terri should be disciplined. That same store also has a young blonde tramp who frequently physically flirts with co-workers. I showed her my dog that she petted and when she saw his Department of Justice badge, she avoids / hides from me every time I come into the store. That's suspicious.

I like Lowe's, I usually have better service here than at Home Depot, so I'll forgive them for yesterday when my wife and I were pretty much ignored for 20 minutes when we were wanting to buy a storm door. That's not the norm here, and won't keep me from going back.

I go to this location all the time. I do so because it is the closest to me. (I have to make a two hour roundtrip drive to visit this location.) I have walked out in frustration at least 25 times in the past two years because the computer tells me that they have something in stock, the employee in Customer Service assures me of this, too. No one is normally willing to go lay hands on the item to confirm that it is actually in stock, though, and I arrive to find the store has none of the needed item in stock. I have visited over fifty times in the past two years and this happens at least half of the time. Further, two times I had them hold items for me at the register with my name on it only to arrive and discover that the item had been sold within the past half hour. WTF??? Never again. I gave my time and a lot of gas money to this store repeatedly because I like Lowe's. No one there gives a rat's ass about customer service, product knowledge or even product location. As I said, NEVER AGAIN. I will continue to shop with Lowe's but never will I visit this crappy, embarrassing location. This location is a joke.

My husband and I are rebuilding a house after a fire destroyed much of our home of 38 years. Our architect and other friends told us Lowe's kitchen advisor in Hollister was excellent. We were very grateful to find Jake Johnson. He guided us patiently and cheerfully as we made our choices. Jake always had new idea for us when we needed them. A few days later, we changed the plan and he accommodated us again. It was obvious he was knowledgeable and enjoyed helping his customers. When I called today to tell him our original cabinet maker from years ago had come out of retirement to help us with the house, Jake responded with good wishes and offered to help with any future needs we might have. We wanted to commend Jake Johnson for his work and attitude. Wish the world had more like him.

My Production Manager went to Lowe's with a company check to load a card with funds to have on hand. We have been doing this for over 10 years. The customer service individual stated that they could not load a card with a check. He asked for the manager. The manager told my Production Manager that he would have to walk to the front to get a card to get loaded. Ummm, where is the customer service? Why does the CUSTOMER have to go find a card to have loaded? Customer service and Lowe's manager was worthless. Individual at front register was able to help my employee. Get rid of customer service and managers as they are WORTHLESS.

The people are friendly, but I will never buy another service through Lowes again. I bought a fence through them and was told by their sales rep that all parts were in store and that my fence would be in around the the start of Dec. The contractor came out for a second measurement and said it wouldn't be to at least the middle of Dec. Then the store calls and says they have to order parts... Is there no communication in this store...hands down the worst experience in getting work done.

Terrible experience with gutter installation. I would advise anyone looking at Lowes to for gutter installation to strongly review all your other options. I had gutters installed in May 2015. They began leaking from all joints almost immediately after installation. I have been contacting Lowes for at least 6 months attempting to get them to address the issue. Their contractor finally came out a few weeks ago to 'fix' the leak. He found that all the calk had dried up so he re-calked all the seams. (Don't even get me started on why a calk would dry up only a few months after installation.) But that still hasn't fixed the problem. They are still leaking! I have explained to Lowes that one of the leaks is over my deck steps and creates an ice slick in the winter but that doesn't seem to matter to them. I just called them this morning to find out what can be done to remedy the matter permanently and they gave me the same song and dance. They will call the contractor, he will come out and assess the situation, blah blah blah. I asked if someone else could come out and try to find a solution. They don't do that. I guess problem solving isn't in this Lowes' skillset but acting bored and being annoyed when a customer calls with a complaint definitely is.

Not one to review things on google, but I'll be following this up with a note to corporate. A couple years ago, we purchased a set of new appliances for one of our homes. The customer service and delivery was a horrible experience. We vowed never to shop at this Lowes again, and have since always gone to Home Depot down the street. Now, we have a part-time babysitter who has also been working at this Lowes for several years. We've been appalled to hear the stories of how they treat their employees. Things became unbearable and our sitter decided to pass in a two weeks notice. The manager promptly told our sitter that that day was the last day of work - but also never quite fired our sitter, so the store didn't have to mess with any unemployment. Many of these employees live paycheck to paycheck and apparently this store has a history of pulling these moves on its people. Another good story was how they managed to find a technicality that prevented our sitter from being able to cash in unused vacation. As a military family, we know well and understand leadership and the importance of taking care of your people. Our sitter is hard-working and earned the right to professional treatment - not to mention aspiring to work in the public sector, in emergency services to support our community. I hope others will chime in and encourage Lowes Corporate to make some changes at this store. It is negatively affecting the people in our community.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. The Customer Service at this location is a joke. I have shopped at Lowes for years and spent thousands upon thousand of dollars. I have always preferred them over Home Depot. That HAS changed! I bought a trimmer in fall of 2013, after the grass cutting season. I used for summer of 2014 and it began to bog down. The first time in 2015 that I tried to use it, it would not stay running. I followed all trouble shooting steps and checked all the basics. The Troy-Built trimmer had no power, would not stay running and was leaking oil everywhere. When I took to the authorized dealer for service, per the factory warranty, They told me most likely I would get my money back and be able to purchase a new product. They were to going to call on Monday and get a code from the Vendor. I followed up Monday and was told no one could help me. Followed up Tuesday and was told it was out for repair. Once the item returned they want to charge me $65 for an item that costs $81 brand new. They claim the service doesn't fall under warranty. Where I really have my problem is that the Assistant Manager, Mark Silva, told me they did call and the Vendor reported to send it off for service. This is contrary to what the RTM employee told me. She stated it was sent out and no one called. Someone is lying, and they couldn't provide me with any proof that anyone called. The product is garbage, and now I am stuck with either eating the cost or paying the $65. I will be following up with The Better Business Bureau, and filing a small claims court suit. I can't stand dishonesty and thievery. That is what I am experiencing in this case. Bottom line, DON'T shop at this LOWES and definitely don't do business with the Assistant Manager , Mark Silva. ZERO STARS! Home Depot it is!

As uneducated as you surely are, id pick up a book and learn how to write English before insulting others cultures.

Thieving lying freaks! I brought in a screw to find another one for the footstool that was missing one. I looked around, with it in hand both going to and from the store, and then a black haired girl at the customer service register asked if I was stealing a screw. I told her no and I brought it from home (this was obvious since it didn't look like any they had in inventory). So she did the gracious thing and called the incompetent Stafford Police Department on me. Now I'll admit, the guy who came to the door was nice about it all. I told him no I didn't steal, showed him the screw, and he left. I went back asking why she did that, she made the same accusation again. Now since I have already had a hellacious time in this area, due to morons like her, I told her if she did it again I'd sue. So when I got home the SPD showed up again and asked if I threatened her, and I told him I'd sue her. He rolled his eyes and left, but before that I got his name, badge number and what he was there for. I took the recording back to Lowes (my mistake) and told the lady I had proof of her BS. She snatched it off the counter and asked me to leave. I told her to give it back or I'd come take it back. She said that if I went behind the counter she'd scream. I was shocked she was went sooo freaking low and was so petty that she couldn't just leave me the heck alone. So I told her manager, that was watching the whole thing, she said I needed 'proof' the voice recorder was mine. I told her she had it in her surveillance tapes. She gave a crap excuse that they 'weren't on' or something. Regardless, they lost a customer that day. Then I went in there a YEAR LATER, hoping something had changed, and I took a empty frame there once to get a piece of glass for it. The black man who cut it took more then a hour to cut a simple piece for a regular size frame. After I took it home, I was so tired I didn't want to wait anymore, I realized it was completely the wrong size. I took it back and the lady at the cash register said they don't accept glass returns. I told her that she should b/c they cut it wrong. She asked if I brought in the frame. I said yes and she laughed at me. She can laugh all she wants, but nothing will fix that troll like face of hers. Then I pointed out the exact guy who cut it and he LIED about his poor job. After 2 hours of wasting my time they finally refunded the $15.

Went to find a part for my garden hose. Asked the associate in plumbing to help me but they desired to help a lady and her husband instead( I was the first one to ask and first in the isle) so I look around trying to find the item myself. I walked over to the door isle and asked for help in plumbing. That associate called for assistance. I waited 10 minutes then another associate walked up. He began to ask if I was the one needing help and I said yes right as another guy walked up and said he needed the help. I tried to explain to the associate that I asked for the call and the associate in doors can confirm it. He ignored me and helped the other guy out. I was about to leave then the door associate asked me if I still needed help. I told him what had happened and he told me I should complain and also pointed me in the direction of where the item in looking for might be. As I was walking across the store, I spotted a member of management and tried to make a complaint. The manager was on lunch and wouldn't even hear me out. She told me I should call the store instead. So with my patiences wearing thin, I walk to the isle the door associate told me to go, I still couldn't find the exact piece I needed and walked over to the associate standing next to the grills and asked for help. He said he would live to help me, and proceeded to fallow me. I get halfway down the isle and look back and he is in the grills again helping a guy buy a grill. That did it for me, so I left. I will never go to this store again, and I will turn everyone I know away from it. I know plumbers, electricians, carpenters, landscapers, and handy men. This store now will lose about 50 customers after I tell my associates of my experience.

I bought a dishwasher online from this lowes. It was a special order which took some to get shipped to the store. It never said that online. It came in early and so the store called me. I told them that I wanted it installed by them. They told me that they would call me back with times but they were going to have to go to the home first and take measurements. I have bought many appliances from lowes and never had to have this part done before and on top of that they wanted to charge me for it. They told me that it was only this stores policy to do this and charge this fee. If this store is that desperate for 35 bucks than they need to shut this store down. I waited for them to call me back with the times and they never did. I get a call from lowes delivery on Sunday Aug 2 at 10am that they are at my house delivering my dishwasher. I never told lowes to deliver this dishwasher and never called me until they were at my home. I now have my dishwasher but don't have anyone to install they still have not contacted me about when they are going to install this dishwasher. I have already paid for it and still have no date. I have been out 400 bucks for three weeks and nothing has gotten done. The manager told me that this was this store policy which I find it hard to believe. If this is a policy it should be for all stores. The manager said it was because of the denographics of the homes around this location which is totally not true since the store that is 5 miles away does not have this policy. I also find this offensive and disheartening that corporate stores are still worried about the demographic of the population and not worrying about how to service the people of the area. I am warning you don't go to this Lowes if you want honest people to help you get their products. All they do is worry about demographics and how to take more money from their customers. The employees are rude and ungelpful. Lowes please shut this store down! I will not shop at this Lowes agian!

We ordered carpet, doors and appliances in the past 3 months. All three of our orders had issues. Our carpet sat at the store for 11 days and we had to come in and check on it twice before an employee found it was in. We had to go back and fix the appliance order that had been rung up incorrectly. And we waited 6 weeks for a custom order of doors only to have the entirely wrong style of door made and delivered. Will not be going to Lowe's for any custom orders in the future.

It's probably the best place to go for any crafts or building projects you have. I can't complain about them. Just really big. I feel they could use moving platforms like airports have for the main aisles. And perhaps Associates with better knowledge of where to find items. I'd strongly suggest doing what wegmans does with iPad as a directory service that's searchable for the items you want.

A greedy general contractor. I love Lowes, but I will think twice about every asking for an installation service again. I had them come and measure a smallish hallway for a tile installation. I was told it would be between $5-6 per foot or albout half of other quotes I received. The Lowes quote came out to be roughly $4600, or $3,000 MORe than the highest quote from three other reputable tile and carpet places. $4600 for a small hallway tile installation, not including the tile, which I've already bought from Lowes, and not including the demo of the current tile. True, the hallway has a very small bath off of it, and a standard sized closet, so the job entails some cutting. But, when all things are equal, and one contractor wants $3,000 more than three other contractors (for a small job), you get the feeling that this contractor's (Lowes's) greed for subcontracting work is enormous. I'd be curious to see if the same holds for HomeDepot.

Lowe’s is my first choice as a hardware store. They have wonderful no hassle take - back procedure. If you are buying windows or a new floor it is okay to use their contractor. However, if you have a major project such doing a whole kitchen you may have a problem. They get their money up front for all appliances and work. Like any other place with this procedure it is like pulling teeth to get them to return. You can buy your appliances from them but for everything else you should go through your own carpenter to coordinate the project. They have the nice 10% military discount for items or the 5% off using their credit card. However, because of the high interest one should avoid regular use of their credit card unless they are sure they can make full payment in 30 days.

A nice young man met us shortly after entering the store, he helped us find what we needed. I have a small car and he was very helpful cutting our selection down to a manageable size for us. After we gathered up the rest of our purchases, we stopped him again to ask about one last item, he was already off work, but was more than happy to help us. He definitely went above and beyond,

I left. at pickup- waited 40 min. because they could not find it, even though it was marked in the door dept. they gave us the wrong screen door and a part as missing from door. This place has great products and prices, but has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Every single time I go in there either no one is around or someone is right there but don't know how to work that department. People are so ignorant on their departments and no one is cross trained. There has been instances while I am in the store that I had to actually call the office to receive service. It took me almost an hour and a half just to purchase a riding lawn mower. The managers do nothing to fix the issue although they say that they will. It's gotten to the point that I hate going in there and avoid going in there if I can.

Had a very good shoping experience one day at Lowe's. Shopping in the Rug area of the store when a lady name of "Trish" according to name tag, asked if she could help. She helped me pick out the carpet, rolled it up, took me to check out and aslo helped me load the rug into my car. Second time in 19 years that anyone anyone in the store asked if I need any help. Horrible Customer Service. - Do not shop here if you anticipate needing help or customer service assistance of any kind. - I recently tried to purchase a grill. Waited for someone for 20 minutes without ever receiving assistance and left. - The associate "greeter" sitting in a chair at the front door said "Can't help you." - Another associate I found in the store said "I'll call someone" then when no one showed up he said "I don't know what to do. Sorry"

The store is okay, but the staff I've requested help from are useless. I generally avoid Lowe's in favor of Home Depot and OSH, but there are some things only Lowe's stock. In the latest incident, I needed a sample of composite material, and was assured this was possible by the staff at the "projects" desk who directed me to another desk. The girl there didn't normally work on that desk and knew nothing about samples. She tried and failed to find a supervisor or the manager. After 30 minutes of her talking to equally uninformed co-workers about whether Lowe's sell samples, I just bought an entire plank of the material.

I ordered a washer and dryer from this Lowe's location. I was told they would be delivered on the morning of 02/10/16. I received a call at 8:30 pm the night prior advising they would now be delivered between 3:30-5:30 pm on 02/10/16. I had to miss work because of this. The dryer that was delivered was visibly damaged with scratches all over the door and it would not turn on. The dryer had to be returned to the store. I immediately called the store to discuss the issue and waited for 15 minutes to reach a manager. I was advised by the manager the next dryer would not be available for delivery until after 02/15/16 which means I have to go without a dryer. I am very unsatisfied with the level of customer service I received and would not recommend this location.

Never use Lowes flooring installation. Estimator came took notes , and pictures. He told me pool table would be extra and off he went. Had flooring delivered last week. Installers came and refused to do the job. Lowes is refusing to do the job. Now Lowes will give 150 dollars for me to hire a mover to remove all furniture out of the room. I use this store only when I absolutely must. I have a laundry list of complaints that I am sure many other customers share. While the store does have a large stock, they ultimately come up short in the most important area, service. For starters, the associate (younger, bigger) that works in appliances is terrible. I had purchased a 850.00 oven and it took an hour for him to get it for me. He was too busy talking to other people. Besides being superbly slow, he also applied me for a credit card, after I specifically told him that I did not want it or need it. I found out later when I received a letter saying that I was approved for a card, but declined. Pretty shady if you ask me. Also, when the previously mentioned associate finally did bring the oven out to load in a family member's truck (who were also waiting) he recognized them and said "shoot, if I had known that it was you guys, I would've been faster". Terrible customer service skills. There are always people waiting in this store. From the moment you walk in at the service desk, to the long lines/1 or 2 open checkout counters, to getting a new item loaded. I want to like this store, I really love the Lowe's chain and it isn't fair that certain "employees" can ruin something so nice, but the service being as poor as it is, I can only rate 2 stars, and that is being generous.

Usually, the Wheelersburg, Ohio store is pretty good. The employees are helpful and they typically know their products; however, today (7-24-15) they dropped the ball. I was looking for some unfinished coffee table legs with hardware and the first guy sent me to the opposite corner of the store from where they were. I am a person with serious heart trouble and I really hate it when such unnecessary trips occur. The next two guys gave me "I don't know -- ask somebody down there [pointing]" and I am paraphrasing. The fourth guy told me EXACTLY where they were and how far up the isle and on which side. Then I needed 8 bags of ready to use concrete in 50# bags. It was marked $2.55. The girl at the counter couldn't find it so I had to go way back and get the item # for her. She couldn't figure out how to resolve a price difference (her computer said two-seventy something) so I just paid the higher price rather than what it was marked because numerous customers were backing up behind me and no one was at the second register. Then we went through another fiasco because she didn't note in the computer that I needed it loaded. Then she said it was too late to use my Lowe's card (the one that notes points or whatever). Now, the red-headed guy who DID load my concrete was a hard worker, very polite, very informative, apologetic for my difficulties, and very positive about his employer -- he took the bad taste out of my mouth about the store and I will definitely return. All I can figure is that the boss must have taken the day off because there were lots of employees around but they weren't very helpful, the last fellow (and the guy who actually told me where my table legs were -- but it was a poor selection and I bought none of those), notwithstanding. I wish that last guy worked for ME.

This is the story of the worst experience I have had at Lowes. All others have been smooth sailing. I bought a fridge, was told the date of arrival and when it would be delivered and then it never showed up. I called Lowe's and was told that my fridge never came in and would not be in stock for another couple of months. However, this was because of Whirlpools error and not Lowes. They sold me the floor model of my fridge at a discount and had it at my house the next day. The other issue I had was that I paid for my fridge with my Lowes card to take advantage of the interest free financing but when my exchange took place they did not give me the special financing. This was fixed with just a phone call to Lowes and they were super helpful and professional. Even though the fridge buying was not as smooth as it could have been I know there were a lot of factors outside of the control of the people in the store. Each time I go to Lowes I am reminded of how great their customer service is and we will continue to shop there.

This store is truly the WORST in terms of any home improvement service. This is both for custom blinds that I ordered and a storm door that I purchased. To even get the blinds correctly ordered I had to speak with several different sales staff who were only minimally helpful. I then had to follow up with the Assistant Manager (Brian) about mistaken delivery details - only to be told that half of the order had to be re-ordered. And while I had NO problem with the installer coming to measure the door, somehow the installation department had an old telephone number they had given the call to follow-up with the actual installation. Meanwhile, I've already been billed for these products and services!! Definitely bypass this Lowe's if you want decent customer service - on the ordering and service end!!

Still, I have been buying things to the store and have it delivered but they always mess up with items delivered. They send me items that i did not order and they are not on time with the items i need. today i am so upset that they schedule deliver for 1:30-3:30 then they called and says there is a delay to 2pm to 4pm. then another call saying more delays and it will be 5:30-7:30pm. how stupid this people think that they can just say, oh we are running late. have some respect! close your business if you think people will listen to your excuse. there is no valid reason for you to be late. no storm, calamities. if there is delays for whatever your reason, you should know how to manage it and find strategies to make things happen. do not just sit your a$$ and call costumer that you will be late.

Several days ago, I bought a Zep Pro Strength Drain Cleaner which was on sale from Lowes. I took it home and it was never used for sure. Today, I decided to return it for refund. A female sales manager asked me if I have used it and I replied "no". Then she asked a sales associate to open it and claimed that the seal of the bottle was missing and it was not full bottle. I told her again that I never used it. Later she found some one to open another Zep Pro Strength Drain Cleaner and said that if there was a seal, I needed to take my stuff home without any money back. Later, a sales associate told her to confirm that there was no seal for this product. Finally, she gave me refund but I was still unhappy about the whole refund experience.

I would like to give no stars. I purchased a Maytag dishwasher from this store on a Friday and was suppose to be delivered on Sunday. Got a call Sunday morning that a truck broke down and my dishwasher will be delivered on Monday. Monday they came to deliver it when they left and we were ready to install we noticed the whole frame was bent in. Called the store to get it replaced. He told me that it will be delivered on that Wednesday. Wednesday morning comes and the truck driver called to tell us that they are picking up the damaged unit without a replacement. I told him I don't feel comfortable with them picking the unit up without replacing it at the same time as the pickup. The manager was suppose to call back that day. Never got a call. Now Thursday morning no calls about a delivery so I called customer care because the Brooklyn store doesn't pick up their phones. Customer care tells me that their are no more of the dishwasher I purchased in stock that's why they were picking it up without a replacement. Which no one informed me about. Customer care set up a pickup for the damage item so I can get a refund on Friday. Friday came and went. I still have a huge box in the middle of my living room. Called the store today, Saturday. Busy tone, of course. Called customer care they tried to get the manager on the line with us to resolve this. Of course she Wasn't able to get anyone at the store even using the back line. She sent an email out to the manager to call me ASAP that was an hour ago. I bet they will never call. So every hour I try calling the Brooklyn store to get through to someone. This isn't right they have my money for a week now and we got a piece of garbage in the middle of our living room. So pissed off. Customer care only gave us a 10% toward another dishwasher. We ended up going to PC Richards got a better price then Lowe's including their stupid 10%. Never used Lowe's before. For appliances I've used Home Depot and PC Richards and I will now stick to that. Never had a problem with these stores ever!! Lesson learned.

If you're looking for something involved in home improvement then this is your place! Should have anything you need from electrical, to lumber, to tools, and more! Whether decorating/improving, or building from scratch, Lowe's will have what you need. I have gone here to get a lot of things for my various home and car projects, and everything I've gotten has done what I've needed them for. It's the size of a warehouse so their selection is vary large. The only complaint I have is that the staff is not very attentive sometimes and you may be standing there a while if you don't know where or what something is. Just go up and ask them or you may be waiting a while. Once asked then all is good unless they don't know what it is you're looking for either, which may happen if you're looking for something uncommon.

Now that I ripped out old carpets 3 bed rooms, fount room and den two weeks ago told wait another 10 days and maybe call back then on progress. It is in writing on the shelf 7 days or less! Manager told me that "it has to be ordered" hum. This means nothing: Guarantee is a legal term more comprehensive and of higher import than either warranty or "security." It most commonly designates a private transaction by means of which one person, to obtain some trust, confidence or credit for another, engages to be answerable for him.

Current staff isn't really to involved with customers. I understand the store is big but I would like to be greeted when I walk in and to be asked if I need help finding an item. Sometimes I walk in and store seems like a ghost town. As far as product in the store, I usually come in knowing what I want and most of the time its there. The app for Lowes in general has become better to use. Now I believe there is a feature that tells you the department and isle of the product your looking for.

Ive recently moved to the area and have been doing a lot of work to a brand new home. If you need to go pick up and item or two, sure this store isn't horrible. However, I had custom blinds ordered and delivered to my house, and they've been sitting here for over a week. Every time you call, whether the blinds department or installation services, no one answers the phone. This has been a problem all month trying to get things done. When you do get someone they wouldn't know their left hand from their right. Additionally, I went 3 weeks ago to have some shelving cut. It took 3 different people to figure out how to turn on the compressor, even though I kept explaining to them how to do it. One of them actually told me "you don't know what your talking about so just let us handle this". Of course when the manager came over it was the exact switch I had been pointing to for 15 minutes. Just overall rude, lazy, incompetent people.

Absolutely the worst Lowe's I have ever been to customer service is nonexistent call to speak with the manager and the manager will hung up the phone on me

Horrible experience with the personnel at this location. They are rude and do not have any customer service skills. I walk into the store, pick up what I need, go to the register, pay, exit the store and not one person has even said a simple hello. It feels as if they are doing us a favor. Home depot of Jersey city has much better customer service and prices are better overall. I rather drive a few extra miles to go to Home Depot than to go to Lowe's.

One of the smaller Lowe's in the area, you'll find pretty much the same things here as you will across Albuquerque, with some minor differences. For one, you'll find a bigger selection of certain departments at other locations than you will here - namely lumber, tools, appliances, gardening and paint. It's no different from any other Lowe's to be honest. Just don't expect to get much help from the associates simply as there often times isn't one around so much, and if you press the call button, sometimes you'll wait nearly three minutes for someone to appear. With that said, I recommend shopping at this Lowe's for quick items that you don't want to travel across Albuquerque for.

After finding carpet we liked for our home, they sent someone out to measure the area our our house. Since it took over a week to add up the area, I did my own measurements and calculated ~833sf. When we finally received their measurements, they came out to 1,080sf. Granted I'm not an expert in this specific trade, but 33% overage seemed a bit extreme to me. We finally agreed with Lowe's that they would refund any large extra pieces of carpet that remained. During the installation, the carpet layers made it a point to take every piece of left over carpet to their vehicle when we weren't looking. At the end of the job, we had 1 piece of 120sf and two pieces of at least 30sf each. When we contacted the store to get the refund on the large pieces we were able to keep, they told us they would not refund us because they purposely sent us extra carpet and extra padding. They went as far to say that since they sent extra and had such little carpet leftover, they installed more than we paid for and we would actually owe them money. The entire experience was frustrating and in the end we were disappointed with the actions of everyone involved including the manager. Because of this I can't give this store a better review.

Hated it. I am a contractor. I bought Valspar paint FLAT, I had my crew paint two interior rentals. It had a sheen to it. Lowe's gave me some more paint. I had to pay my crew $1,200.00 to paint them a 2nd time and they still came out shinny, so you can't touch up without seeing it. The Lowe's manager Johnny & the Valspar rep. met me at the property And try to tell me Flat has a sheen it is really not flat. Now I'm out $1,200.00 for having to pay my crew to paint a 2nd time. They will not stand behind there products. And my walls are still not flat. They will not reimburse me to my crew., They just give me the run around. Don Davis.

If you don't like shopping in crowds then this is your store. Obviously this is not what Lowe's wants but since it is on the northern border of the metro area the store is more empty than full. Home Depot on 550 has the same problem (or advantage). I think of a large empty Lowe's Home Improvement as paradise. If everything was free it would be heaven. Ah, now that's a fun thought. By the way, the staff here is excellent, very customer service oriented. I even like their excited approach to helping kids in the community with fundraising (as much as I hate being bothered at the check out for extra stuff). I wish they had more staff but I understand it would be hard to justify with the small number of patrons they get daily.

Lowe's is usually in my top choices for home improvement products. Usually I know exactly what I need; so outside of the cashiers, I rarely need to interact with the staff. Over the last few months, I've noticed the employee engagement significant declining. My experience this week was one of the worst. As mentioned by some of the other reviews, the staff os not trained to cover other responsibilities. Im now looking for other options first before choosing this Lowes.

I went to lowes looking for assistance with hardware for our bathroom vanity. I was very frustrated when I looked around the hardware section as I did not know what exactly I needed for the job. I was greeted by Marty who is in that area of expertise and he went over and above. He helped me find what it was I needed and he even demonstrated how I needed to do it. Marty you made my experience the very best and for that we will be regular customers from here out.

I wanted to wait to review Brantford Lowes until I was able to have enough experiences with them to not just be reviewing off of one good/bad day. Over the last couple years I can't recall having poor quality of service from the floor members of Lowes Brantford, I am very impressed with the treatment from the employees. I wanted to touch on Customer Service reps in particular. In the last 2 weeks I have been in to return 2 products that have NOTHING to do with Lowes themselves as the reason for the returns. The first was a form of jig saw that simply wasn't the build quality I was expecting. With no receipt and having used the saw on one board I was met with a friendly face who through only the use of my credit card being swiped was able to refund my card. Second was an oscillating tool that again was just not up to par (same company). Two sanding pads and the adapter was toast. I even had an associate back me too who was in the CS area. Returning items makes me feel pretty low so this was a nice gesture on their behalf of the employee. I had no receipt, nor did I have the box. Just the carrying case and my bank statement showing the date it was charged to my card and the amount. I expected nothing. I have worked in customer service and this shocked me. No negativity whatsoever. The CS staff member was able to find my purchase and happily reversed the item value to my card. At no time has anyone, especially not customer service, given me any grief or feeling that I was interrupting their day. I have no issues with Home Depot or any of the other local hardware stores but because of the Customer Service members and the respect and friendliness of the floor members I will no doubt stick with Lowes for anything I need in the future.

My fiance and I went in on a Friday night for paint and before we started mixing anything she made us aware of a sale, on the same brand of paint we were going to be purchasing, for the next day. Thanks to her awesome heads up and great costumer service we ended up saving almost $200 on paint and were able to buy paint for two more rooms and two bathrooms. And she was the sales rep there to help us the next day too.

One of the 2 busier Lowe's in Colorado Springs (the other being on the west side of town on Nevada Ave). Even with the added traffic the associates are more attentive to customers than the 2 quieter stores in town. Was just in during the weekend. Even with a line at the paint counter I was able to get my paint matched and mixed in about 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a quick and painless visit!

All in all I like this closed because of the way that is laid out on the inside. Finding things in the store seemed very intuitive. The only downfall to the store is the parking lot is in disrepair and in the winter time some of the closest parking lot to fill up with ice and snow.

I like lowes, and shop the Redmond store often. Occasionally, what I need is in Bend. Each time I have had to go there, employees treat you like they are doing you a big favor just to assist you. They do not understand customer service or relations. Most recently was yesterday. The Bend store mgt. Needs to work on improving this. Home Depot is very service oriented where Lowes does not seem to care. Try finding someone willing to help you at the Bend store.

I came to purchase a Texas State flag for my local fire department in Olmos Park. I had purchased a4x4 US flag for them a few days ago at this same Lowe's and hoped there would be a Texas flag available . Unfortunately, Lowe's does not have the 4x4, and while I sat in my car for a couple of minutes looking on my iphone at my options my car battery died. Weary of asking strangers I asked the store management if they could help jump start my battery by letting an employee assist me with it. I was told no. Apparently it is a "liability issue" to help a stranded customer. In Texas? I really feel like gathering up the $300 worth of items I purchased the other day, returning them and taking my business elsewhere.
