Great people. Great results
They have helped me, I must say that. I think what I'm bothered by are the following:
1. The people in the reception area are not friendly, never smile, never seem welcoming
2. What might be more concerning is that my physical therapist works with so many people at once he does not pay attention to my form when I am doing various exercises.
3. There is sports TV on constantly, and the physical therapist often seems disengaged from me, either watching television while he/she works on me or talking sports with other therapists and male patients who are in there at the same time.
4. I do not think the therapist is engaged with me while we work together. He does his job, but it's kind of like going to an asian nail place. They are working on your body but they are a million miles away.
This has made me think that I might tell people to shop around if they want a physical therapy experience where the person is really WITH you when they are with you. PT is expensive and I think the personal relationship is a LARGE part of the physical and emotional healing process.
