Today I went into Wells Fargo to make some changes to my account and worked with Bobby **. He was super rude, arrogant and completely unpleasant to work with. Not only did he make us (my husband, myself and mother-in-law) feel stupid when he was explaining things to us but he was rushing us out the door. I did my best to just answer his questions and get out of there as fast as possible.

I was charged overdraft fee. They said they are only allowed to give four overdraft fees and slammed me to six, so I'm going to Bank of America no overdraft fee account. They also lied repeatedly over the phone about how much was available. So disappointed I'm going to Bank of America. The account analysis costs four dollars a month with no overdraft fee, with thirty-day grace period to replenish your funds.

If you have a check written to you on a Wells Fargo account but do not have an account there yourself they want to charge you to cash that check at their bank. It's complete extortion! The check was written through their bank and they want to charge you to cash it. I will never go to Wells Fargo!!!

I'M on a fixed income which I receive once a month from ssi for me and my kids. So I go into the 7155 jonesboro rd. Morrow, ga. on December 16 2015 to do a advance withdrawal. The teller swaps my card twice and says that "there's an error. It didn't go through". So I get in my car and my alert comes on my phone stated that my funds had been withdrawn so I go back inside of the bank to let them know of this only to be told that there's no manager or supervisor nor the lead teller to assist me.

I have set-up all my bills/credit card payments at a specific date. I usually cash my checks then deposit cash into my bank acct on a Saturday. I had to come to work Saturday so I did an atm deposit Saturday morning due to the bank teller at Wells Fargo stating it would be available Monday morning. That was my scheduled day to pay. I felt assured by the teller so here lies my dilemma. Monday comes around, & the deposit is not on my acct.

My Mother passed away over a year ago and I needed to close several of her accounts. First I requested a personal line of credit to be closed that had no balance because an annual fee had been imposed. It took me several attempts before they finally completed my request. I then wanted to close 2 safe deposit boxes. It took 5 trips and numerous demands by their "legal department" before I could access and close the boxes. On top of the inconvenience I had to deal with they also insisted on charging me the box fees plus penalties after I was first told not to pay them since my mother was deceased. I guess they felt they had to add insult to injury.

I was trying to cash a Christmas gift from one of Wells Fargo's large business customers. I was asked to show my Driver's License and credit card 3x, take thumbprint. Told them I was not a customer at Wells Fargo but the issuing check was from one of their corporate customers 3x. Stood in line for first teller, stood in line for "the banker," got back in line after "the banker" did everything but take my toe prints, was asked why I was not a Wells Fargo customer 2x (duh), and finally when I thought the check was about to be cashed after 39 minutes of hoop jumping, I was told that there would be a fee of $7.50 to cash the check.

I was charged 3 overdrawn fees back to back of $35 dollars each. This was my first overdraft fee and asked if I could get them waived. The bankers and supervisor at the customer service department were very uncaring and helpless. They only waived $26. I told the supervisor I was going to closed my account with Wells Fargo and she stated on.

I called Wells Fargo to report a scam on my account and told the customer service claim department I had called the police to report it as well. Good old Wells Fargo did not care and told me that unfortunately they were not able to refund the amount I was scammed for because "I fell for it, therefor so it was my fault". They are as bad as the woman that scammed me. Good to know Wells Fargo. Good doing business with you. By the way the scammer was a women that drives a taxi, Tiffney **, Bellingham, Wa **. Be aware when you get on a taxi cab that is not a recognized company.

I left that bank because while I was visiting a third-world, foreign country a few years ago, they screwed up my ATM/debit card so that I couldn't use it overseas. Before I left, I was assured via the phone that the card was set and there would be no problems even though it was an old card and a new one was on its way. Since the new one wouldn't get to me in time, the person on the phone assured me the one I had would work. It worked for one week, then expired and no matter whom I spoke with on the phone, they would not do anything about it. I was stuck in that country for two weeks without a way to get cash from ATM machines.

I deposited a check for $7500.00 in my checking account at Wells Fargo Bank. The check bounced. Wells Fargo deducted $15,000 (that is, the $7500.00 check amount was never added to the balance; when the check bounced, $7500 was deducted from the remaining money in the account) from the account and added about $2300.00 from my Wells Fargo credit card to create a positive balance. The agent I spoke with on the phone had no idea how to handle the problem. I went to my local branch and spoke with the manager. At first he wasn't interested in doing anything about the problem and called the 2nd $7500.00 a "pledge." He was unable to explain what a pledge was. I was outraged. He finally adjusted the amount to show the proper checking account balance including repaying the credit card and assuring me I would not be charged an advance fee.

Was contracting WF concerning activity on my CC but received a response regarding fraudulently, attempted use of my ATM/Credit Card. Confused, I called but was told they couldn't help me, their supervisors were busy, they could not transfer me to the department who sent the email, and I could not speak to Fraud and Claims, they do not take calls. Sent an email and was told that there has been incoming attempts to use my card however they declined them. After several emails trying to find out what was going on I asked to be escalate to someone who could tell me.

Customer Service at Wells is a joke. Every time I have an issue with Wells, I am told I am doing something wrong or something is wrong with my computer. It takes numerous phone calls or a bank visit to resolve any issue. I have banked with them because of their wide network of banks and ATMs. Sure wish Chase had banks here.

Accidentally deposited a money order that wasn't made out to me. Within less than twenty minutes I was inside the bank letting them know. They would not make a note in their system or open the ATM. Was told the only thing I could do was wait and the money order would either be mailed to me or deposited into the account. This was on October 20, 2015. Neither has happened to date. Went into the branch it happened at and they didn't show it having been deposited nor did they show a cancellation or anything else. So now conveniently there is no record and I'm screwed for $750. Will never do business with them ever again.

I had gotten my paycheck last night, I used the mobile app on my phone which read that my balance was $255. Upon seeing that I went to buy medicine and food which shows that the $72 was taken out, I had just got done shopping and collected the receipts over the past two days. My receipts add up to $81 so I did the math, $174 should be in my bank account, but it shows that I only have $99.81.

I called the 1800 number asking for help on my account after I deposited a check I was given, that turned out being a fake check. I had no idea it was fake but Wells Fargo was holding me to blame and closing my account. Everyone of Wells Fargo associates was rude, disrespectful, and uncooperative. I also have disability income. And Wells Fargo would NOT setup a savings account for me to have my disability check bump over to so it would not affect my monthly income. They just wanted their money paid back that they accused me of stealing. Instead of being helpful and having a heart they had to be cold-hearted, money hungry jerks. I hope they have a merry ** Christmas.

I paid for my student loan at the branch in cash. They took my money. Told me it is posted towards the loan. I checked after 4 weeks. The woman who took my money never posted towards the loan. Now I have to repay along with penalty. They also put fraudulent penalties on me. They stole my debit card rewards. STAY AWAY! THEY ARE GOING TO SUCK YOUR BLOOD. THIS IS WORST UNETHICAL FRAUD BANK.

Unknown charge. Called bank to inquire. They had no idea what it is for. So she opened a claim and gave me a claim number. She said that they are reversing the charge. Only to find out the bank did nothing. Charged over $100 in bounced fees. They never even opened a claim. WELLS FARGO BANK LIES TO CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN WITH THEM THRU 3 BANK NAME CHANGES. NICE LOYALTY.

WellsFargo has been an absolute godsend at making banking easier with tools such as Mobile/Text Banking that allow customers to easily manage transfers & deposits. The care & consideration they provide far exceed any other banker I've had. Way to Go WellsFargo!

I had money deposited in my account today from a direct deposit that went into the bank this morning at 3AM. As of yesterday I had a negative balance not posted but pending yesterday. The money was in there today before the bank opened and they charged me 3 overdraft fees today after the money had gone into the account. So I called and asked them to explain to me why they charged me when the amount of yesterday was in there today to cover what was negative. I asked customer service which is a joke, to explain why and they just kept telling me the same thing that they had already told me. But would never actually explain why I was charged. Then to make matter worse they only gave me back half of what they took for no reason. They made 59.00 for no reason because they would only give me half of the 120.00 they took. It's not the first time this has happened for me but it will be the last.

I called the closest branch who has Mexican pesos readily available for exchange (30 min drive) to check the latest time I can go in to exchange money. They told me 5:30 and to just walk up to the teller. I arrived at 5:05 and was informed that the person who does the exchange had already been balanced out and on her last break. I drove 30 minutes just to waste gas and have to turn around and go home.

Requested a HARP loan mod after receiving a letter from WF that my loan was serviced by WF but owned by FM (Fannie Mae). Took the letter stating that and went to my local branch to discuss the HARP program and was told that my loan was not a FM loan even though the letter from WF stated such. Left a copy of the letter with the local branch to follow up on as to why the loan was not a FM loan and yet to hear back. Called corporate office regarding such and was given to a smug little fart who said he didn't care what the letter stated, it wasn't a FM loan.

I logged on to Wells Fargo to do a balance transfer to pay off my wife's Macy's account. Account was not paid off. Wells Fargo does a terrible job in this process. They sent me a "message" stating they wanted to talk to me before they would complete the transfer - account verification. Well, I do not log into my Wells Fargo account very often and the "message" does not go to my email - so the request for payment did not go thru. SOOOO... if you think you are doing a balance transfer through Wells Fargo - chances are you are not because they do not tell you it is a two step process - meaning you request a transfer then have to go back in the next day and confirm the transfer.

You might want to be careful of making a deposit into a Wells Fargo checking account. I made a deposit of less than $5000.00 into my account and they have put a hold on it for over 2 weeks, they (Wells Fargo) has cashed the check and have the funds but will not release until the 25th of Nov, 2015. Mind you I have an account in excellent standing. I think holding the funds is outright stealing. Mind you that Wells is using my money while I sit here and can't make my healthcare payments and others. This is not right, they will have had my money in their account for over 15 days and that is if they decide to release it on the 25th. Once through this mess I will close all my account with Wells Fargo, they are a legal company that can steal money and get away with it.

I was a customer of Wells Fargo for over 12 years. I had a 2nd mortgage loan with them and also a checking account and other accounts. I paid off the 2nd mortgage loan and stopped using the checking account but kept it open with $51 dollars in it. Wells Fargo then charged me a monthly 15 dollar service charge without communicating this to me because I didn't meet the minimum requirements for the checking account. After 3 months there is 5 dollars left in the account when I realized they had been charging this ridiculous fee. I closed all my accounts with Wells Fargo... Their Customer Service was usually terrible. They would pass you off from one group to the next without doing any type of warm transfer. And I have nothing good to say about them. Absolute worst experience of any bank I have ever dealt with. They don't even deserve one star because they suck so bad.

I went to Wells Fargo (after finally finding a location I could walk into, they seem to be sparse in Suffolk County NY) to deposit CASH into a family member's account for her. Photo ID was required, and I produced my drivers license which was expired. I explained that my current license was in my other purse, and that my license is in fact valid and the picture clearly looked like me and I had all kinds of other ID with me just not with a photo. THEY REFUSED to allow me to make a deposit to her account! I had the account number and did not require anything but a deposit slip. They were rude, unwilling to help, in all my life I have never encountered such ridiculousness. THANK GOD I do not have an account with this bank! I strongly advised my young niece to find a more convenient and friendlier bank, such as Bank of America or Astoria Federal. This place is horrible! How do you NOT TAKE CASH???

Wells Fargo has very poor security measures. They also tend to let their customers go the inconvenient route all the time. Customer service is also very bad - takes forever or not, they always come bearing bad news. Today, Wells Fargo changes my account number again. This has happened to me twice. I really think they should change their security measures.

Verified by Visa -- if you are like me, you can't remember the passwords that you don't often use. Verified by Visa is not in my frequent use list, so when I completed transaction at NewEgg and V-by-Visa came up I simply closed window thinking that the transaction would be finished. ---WRONG!!!!!! My WF visa charged me even though the transaction WAS NOT verified - by Visa or by me. I called and waited on hold the usual 10 minutes, got a human who went on to say, "Oh this is a merchant level issue - Has nothing to do with WELLS FARGO. Thank fully NewEgg fixed everything, so They get 2 thumbs up & Wells Fargo gets my wrath. errggg! You can read the NewEgg citation below.Once you know, You NewEgg!!!! This was my 3rd purchase from NewEgg, suggested by my SuperLinuxGeek older brother. Problems: On the first purchase I went through the usual registration blah blah & completed transaction with Wells Fargo Visa, thinking I am finished, then up pops "Verified by Visa". What a pain in the neck. I have used it only once or twice, so couldn't recall the password, so I close the window thinking that I will have to start over again. !!!!!! Closing the window does not stop a "Verified by Visa" transaction. So I was charged for product without my knowing it. Thank the Lord, NewEgg is an above reproach company and they listened to me, they refunded the cost, and paid for return shipping. WOW!!! I am sold on NewEgg. I have gone on to make another purchase there the item referenced on this page. Outstanding customer service. Thanks, NewEgg!

I deposited my paycheck on Friday and even asked how long it takes for my money to be available. I was told one business day, which of course should mean Monday. So today I go to use my debit card and it's denied. I pull up my account online and it says "pending" by my deposit. Turns out the "one business day" means if you make the deposit by 4:00 pm. I made it at about 4:45 when the bank was still open. Previously my deposits made after 4 on Friday have been available on Monday. Turns out, if you use the ATM to make a deposit you have till 6:00 pm to get the one business day turn time. I've been doing it that way. I only went into the bank last Friday because the ATM was out of deposit envelopes. If I had asked for a deposit envelope and then walked outside the bank and deposited via the ATM, this BS wouldn't have happened. So I get these outrageous overdraft fees because, for whatever reason, the bank's deposit system doesn't work as well if you walk in the bank as it does if you use the ATM. How's that for BS? I called them up and they refused to overturn any of the fees. They said they could only do it if it was a bank error. Excuse me? The clerk told me it took one business, but didn't specify it's only if you make the deposit by 4 pm in the bank or by 6 pm in the ATM. I told them his leaving out those very important details was a bank error. Each overdraft is $34. It's not like I was some bozo who didn't bother to keep track. I meticulously had all this in Quicken, and the math told me I had the money there. It's money I earned. I have the right to use it. I told them to reverse the charges or I'll find another bank, both for my checking and savings accounts and for the mortgage I'm applying for next year when I buy a house. They're going to lose all that money in interest over 30 years because they refused to reverse a couple $34 charges that they have no business hitting me with.

This office will gladly help you write a loan, but don't try to get them to help service the loan after the sell. Wells Fargo has no banking branches in the state of Oklahoma, so if your insurance company writes you a check for damage repairs, the company must endorse the check before you can cash it. I called the main office back east somewhere and they gave me a tracking number so any local office could endorse the check. I called this office and explained I already had the tracking number but they said they are too busy to help with the insurance checks. What a shame that they are more interested in making money on their customer's purchases, but refuse to help those same customers when it comes to any other service. If I could do it all over again, I would choose ANY other company than Wells Fargo.

Probably the least positive experience I've had at a Wells Fargo. I called in this afternoon to check to see if they had Mexican pesos available. The man on the phone was briefly confused by what a peso was but did confirm that they were available in store after a brief hold. I said great, I'd be by later in the day to pick those up and the call ended. When I came in later that day I was informed that they could not exchange currency after 5pm which would have been great to know when I called at 4pm. In addition, while I was in line an employee (security guard) kept leering in my direction. I had never had a bad experience at a Wells Fargo before, but I won't be going back to this branch.

The Menlo Park Wells Fargo branch is such a wonderful place to do business with. Over the last month, our school has run a Canned Food Drive collecting food and monetary donations from the generous community. I brought all of the loose bills and Audene was so patient and kind changing small bills into larger ones. I had such a pleasure working with her and thank her for who she is. She actually called me and said she still owed me $15. Honest, respectful and very cordial.

Truly the worst customer service ever. To get a simple question answered you are placed on hold for hours, as I am sitting here now. The funny thing, the recording keeps telling me how much they appreciate my business. Sad Sad Sad, but I guess being such a large bank you really don't care. Went into the bank yesterday to close out a loan and the "customer service" rep, Carolyn, was extremely rude when I started asking questions about my personal loan. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but after my first question she gave me an attitude and it was to the point where I was going to ask to close out my account with Wells because of her. Worst experience from Wells Fargo bank. The impolite and rude banker didnt even show smile when i was in front of her. But i saw it when she is with Chinese tourist customer. So sad customer service attitude. I wish there is a way to give them a half star

She took a couple who came in after us, before us and later tried to explain that it was a scheduling problem but I never had to schedule appointments before for a 5 minute process. Cud dos to Jacob Bertunen who help us as soon as he entered the bank. Without an appointment.

Wells Fargo ruined my credit rating by using the wrong address for my statements, which I never received, and charged a service fee of $5.00 per month until my account was empty. Then, without telephoning or e-mailing me, Wells Fargo turned the matter of service charges over to a collection agency, which also did not contact me. I first learned that my credit report was ruined when my insurance agent contacted me to raise my homeowner insurance rates. It took me more than a month to correct the problems.

Business as usual, service poor. Wasted half a day going down to Denver at the request of the bank, under guise of reviewing our business account. Nothing beneficial to our business, was offered, or came up. They were trying to sell payroll services etc., which we already had at a much better cost and service level. Very disappointing.

IF there were a no star option, they would receive that. I have paid off over $1500/month for the past 6 months on my Wells Fargo 5% cash-back credit card. These people obviously can't do math. 5% of 1500 would be $75=75 points. I have yet to receive enough points (25) to even redeem the points. Secondly, I have been charged two overdraft fees on an opted out account because their mobile banking app is junk and down the majority of the time. You tell me how that works... Go to first bank or a loan shark. Either way you will be better off.

I went into this branch of Wells Fargo this week to cash a check I had received from a business drawn on Wells Fargo. When I told them I wanted cash for the check, I was told I had to talk to a banker to "verify" the check. That, in turn, led to three separate employees imploring me to open an account. I explained that I was happy with my current bank, was not interested in opening an account, and that I wanted the cash in exchange for the check I had been given. Then they announced to me that I would have to pay a fee of $7.50 just to cash the check I had been given for $1,250. I protested and was told to "calm down." I continued to protest and was told that the fee was because of the "type of account" the business who gave me the check had. Again, I protested. Then I was told that I would have to get my $7.50 back from the business which had given me the check. Unhappy with this, I collected the rest of my money (minus the $7.50 "fee") and then I went back to the business and explained what had happened. They appeared to be as unhappy about the situation as I was. They reimbursed me the money Wells Fargo had appropriated from me and vowed to call Wells Fargo to demand an explanation. I believe Wells Fargo staff are pressured to try to pressure people like me to open an account, trying to blackmail me with this fee. And then they tried to blame their customer. What should have taken minutes turned into a half hour ordeal. What service! My guess is that most people would just give up and take the hit. I don't like being stolen from - especially by some giant bank my taxpayer money has bailed out! Wells Fargo appears to be the worst in terms of nickle and dime-ing customers and trying to strong arm pressure people into opening an account. This is among the reasons I will NEVER have an account with Wells Fargo Bank.

We were shocked by how unprofessional this bank turned out to be. My fiancee and I registered to attend a "Homebuyer Workshop" held by this branch (the organizer was Brian Dooley) and even received a confirmation email with the date, time and location, well in advance. I left work early and we drove across the city during rush hour to attend, only to find that the organizers didn't show up or even have the decency to call or email to cancel! I am very disappointed about how this business was handled because before this happened (judging from the programs offered and convenience of their website) they seemed like the best bank to suit our needs.

Took forever to reply after giving out personal information about 3weeks some times more. Wont return email or phone calls and now when i call no one in building answers the phone no matter how many times i call. I started in January 2015 talked to Lady she said were faster than most other places. She asked for our ssn number twice and when she got them i didn't hear from her for a month sent emails for updates never replied now February and still waiting finally got a hold of her she made an excuse and when she would hit a hault she had no idea how to fix the issue. Took another 2 weeks to get a hold of her and went into march and she asked for more pers personal information gave it to her and haven't heard from her since and its april 2015 now. Talked to the manager of bank and told her problem gave excuses for the lady i was going thru and she said she would handle it herself and she would call bank in couple hours. 2 days past no phone call back and no one will answer mine almost like no one is working there. DONT GO HERE EVER PLEASE take my advise

All we can say is DO NOT do a purchase or refinance with this group. We agree with the person from April 13, 2011. We started with our "mortgage consultant" on early March 2011 and as of June 27, 2011 still was not closed. She has avoided being held accountable, very unprofessional, did not return calls or emails when things were urgent. Suppose to close April 30, 2011 yet from May 3 until May 16, 2011, she never returned a call, texts messages or emails. She made promises and excuses like none we have ever dealt with. From coming from the real estate profession for years, I can advise you that I have never seen something so messy and with purchasing or refinancing, there is already enough stress to get every detail together but to add on top of it dealing with people as unprofessional as this, please take your business somewhere else. There are enough trustworthy people who stay on top of things and make the whole process more seamless than Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Chattanooga. Needless to say, we made the decision to take our file today and go elsewhere. I never have rated or reviewed one thing on the internet but felt very compelled to do this in hopes that no one else gets entangled with them. RUN. This is the largest asset most people have and do not trust them with this important investment.

I went into this bank to find out about American Express Travelers Cards. AmEx stopped selling travelers checks a few years ago and I just needed a travelers card as a relative had given me some cash for a move and I didn't want to be walking around, staying in motels with a wad of cash. First, they lied to me. Like aggressively lied to me. They told me AmEx no longer has travelers cards. I know the people working for Wells Fargo are just doing what their awful, awful corporate overlords tell them to do but this is a bold-face lie. AmEx still has travelers cards. I could have gotten one at a Key Bank or GBCU. They insist on making small talk, threatening you with surveys -- both phone and online -- and generally do everything they possibly can to make your 8 minute trip to the bank last two hours. I FINALLY walked out of this place with a regular Wells Fargo checking, which I DID NOT want, and was told it was a "travel account" which I could cancel at any time. Another lie. After I moved, it took me three phone calls to Wells Fargo's 1-800 and going into another branch to close my acct. If you enjoy strong-arm, aggressive sales tactics and having every trasnaction take 5 times as long as any other bank, go here.

My husband and I have been account holders for many years and have never had a bit of problem with anyone or anything with the bank. 1 0000 percent satisfaction and every employee goes out of their way to help and make you feel special and appreciated. So, yes, run dont walk TO Wells Fargo for the best banking experience you will ever have. I give this Wells Fargo 1/5 stars because anything below 1 is not possible. I think a great analogy of the service I recently received is the great Wells Fargo skyscraper downtown. It looks great on the outside, but when you need detailed help and you go inside it's just a facade---a myriad of pleasantries with no real substance. A month ago, I went in this branch to make a $356 payment. A week later, I discovered the payment had not been applied. I called multiple times to this branch and was basically brushed off and even one time told I could not be helped because the person on the other end of the line said, " I cannot verify who you are." This was a 'unique' procedure because my identity had been multiple other times, through other branches and even through phone customer service, verified. To my surprise, I later found out the person behind these words laced with sarcasm was one of the managers Katina G. Then, three weeks laters, after my payment was not posted and the branch discovered there was an error on the way they processed the payment there was no since of urgency to correct it. That was until I asked for the district manager. Now, this Friday the service manager says she will call me everyday. But too little too late. My payment has now been deemed late. The tellers are good at taking your money, and "taking" your money (for I still have a receipt for paying money that no one can tell me where it is). Obviously, there needs to be more training, or maybe training period for the managers on down regarding proper customer service and basic operational functions handling finances. And what's worse is I came to this branch because I ran into one of the high level executive managers named Damon at a volunteer event. He is an extremely impressive guy, but this branch forever marred my impression of Wells Fargo!

While on vacation, one of the tellers elected to forge a withdrawal slip and help himself to $1920 of my money. Went to file fraud claim in person and after waiting 30+ days and 18+ hours on phone with HQ, found out no claim was filed at all. Went to watson branch and explained the situation. Money was returned within a week and teller was fired. Can't help but wonder if others were involved at this branch with this theft. Howw is it possible to walk into a bank, report a fraud withdrawl, and they do nothing? One last thing, when I first made them aware, the asst. manager told me that the signature was indeed mine and I was committing fraud.

I dealt with a very impersonal, lack luster, and troublesome experience while refinancing my auto loan with a representative that worked out of their St Louis Park, MN campus. Wells Fargo mentioned to me in the past that half of their customers have financial services through other institutions. They made me believe that switching my loans to them was in my best interest. However, I now understand why their customers have their loans through other banks. I can't even verify if my auto payment is set up correctly.

I go to the Spring Lake Park Wells Fargo every other Friday to deposit my paycheck. I am so annoyed that this location not only takes forever to get a transaction through, but also the tellers ask the same annoying questions every time I stop in. They ask me if I have met with a banker regarding my finances for this year and try to get me to set up a time to meet with one. I am also being asked about my credit card through them and my current interest rate. I don't mind these questions once in a while but every single time I go in there? Really? It is so annoying! I know that is what the tellers are trained to do so I don't blame them. I have even asked if there was a way to put a note on my account NOT to ask these questions, and I was told they could do that for me but obviously it did not get done. I am on lunch break from work when I stop by and I don't have time to sit and chat about these things. That is why there is a drive through. right? I only bank through Wells Fargo because they have a lot of locations and ATM's throughout MN, otherwise I would drop them so fast. Another complaint I have is not about this location but about Wells Fargo in general. I have been a customer for 11+ years now. I have a checking, savings and credit card with this bank. I have only make 2-3 late payments on my credit card in 11 years. The only reason they were late is because I just forgot to go online and transfer, not because I didn't have the funds. I called on one of these occasions (the very first late payment) to ask if Wells Fargo could please waive my late fee of $40!! Outrageous! But they wouldn't budge. I told the rep who I was dealing with that I was a responsible customer, I had been a customer for years and hadn't had one late payment yet, and if they could please waive the fee just this one time it would be greatly appreciated. They wouldn't do it! I have given this bank thousands of dollars worth of business in the years I have been a customer. I have taken out car loans, personal loans, a credit card and have paid them off with hardy ever or no late payments. And they couldn't fulfill my request just once? Ridiculous. If you are looking for a bank I would never recommend Wells Fargo to anyone.

She proceeded to tell me she couldn't help me because she didn't have a pin pad. I stood back in line and waited 5 mins for the same teller to come back and say, 'oh, I guess I can help you. Can I see two forms of id?' I said, I've been banking here for years and you want to see two forms of id? She went on to tell me she couldn't help unless I had two forms of id because she doesn't have a pin pad... The workers obviously need the tools to do their job. I never got my money order because I don't frequently hold two forms of id on me. I went to another location. Ridiculous

Not helpful. Poor support. To even reach customer support you have to listen to multiple adds - it takes an impossibly long time to speak with someone. And I've called multiple times to make the same change to an account...and they still haven't been made. If you're searching for payroll services, I'd look elsewhere.

I bank here regularly and have seen a drastic change in just months time. I remember I used to get mediocre service at best, but as of recently I have had nothing but pleasant experiences. Whenever I call in I get wrong information. Two examples are: I was told there is no fee to receive a wire transfer. When I received the wire transfer, I was charged $16.00. I was told I could get my will notarized there and later found out that although they do notarizations, they will not notarize wills. Getting someone to even answer a question in the first place is a struggle. Sometimes I'm told I will get a call back and I don't get a call back. The tellers are always nice but the other people who answer the phones don't care about the customers AT ALL.

Be warned. When you open up an account here, there are lots of hidden fees and charges. It's best to be prepared to spend a very large chunk of change if you are a customer of theirs. We had it happen to our family here and it was a very bad deal. Our family was taken for almost a Grand in late fees because of their substantial charges. I've never dealt with a bank that was this cold and mean.

We worked for a homeowner that has wells fargo for their mortgage company. In the beginning it took us three times to get a correct fax number to send the paperwork to, when it came to get paid they issued the first check less than what we were supposed to get. The final payment, a month and half later and paid out of our pocket is still waiting to be collected. The check was dispersed TWO times already but TWICE made out to the wrong company. Now they want us to update our zip code on our W9 so they can process the payment properly, which can take another week. It has been torture trying to get paid from this company. Such a shame for such a "big" company.

Wells Fargo loan 2006 ..on 3 years pipe burst ruining over $80,000 worth of damage. Although the builder was sued by Wells Fargo & claimed responsibility for the damage they penalized us raising insurance $400. Markets flipped in 2008 .. we had to short sell our house and damage our credit for years. My credit was 730 at loan, now its 640 ..its all because of Wells Fargo. They recovered their money when they syed the builders ..yet continue to punish us...not through with the damage in our credit it has ruined us for...because of actions they were unwilling to take on our behalf. I called them for hours and days calling calling calling asking them to change this to help us to give us some type of grace on this they refused to cooperate in any way shape or form. I hate Wells Fargo for what they did to my family and how they run our credit history for the last 6 years.

wellsfargo.com

I had perfect payment and credit score of about 720 plus, well I found today that when I called them to ask for a modification and they put me in a forbearance for 3, then said I could apply for a modification after that, (the same day 90 days later they had their collections people calling) hit my credit report with deficiency reports then when I called to apply for the mod (like they said I could, they told me I do not qualify). So why did they look at my credit and payment history and decide to ruin my payment history. I got it good! If you want it good, you can get here! GOOD LUCK TO YOU! So now no one will want to refi or do a mod with me! Rippin Off America in full swing!

Lets start by saying I don't even write reviews....but I just had to speak about my time going to this bank....I walked in lady laying on the floor because she passed out....kinda already a sign that it was going to be a long day....I sit down and wait to be seen by a banker...let me also mention I'm in here just to get a temporary debt card since I lost mines...so I'm sitting and there's only one banker that's helping people who's waiting....so a couple is in front of me...I lie to you not I waited about 1hour and 45mins before I was seen....one banker came in and was at the door greeting customers....this bank isn't busy its like 1 person every 4 minutes so greeting isn't a main priority....so the guy kept telling me sorry for the long wait....so I continue to wait and wait...a lady comes behind me and starts to talk about how she was here 2 hours ago and the same couple that's being helped in front of me was there when she left.....im not a rude and loud person so I continued to wait...the lady waits for about 20 mins and finally is fed up and asked to speak to manager....she tells manager how there's a line of people waiting to sit and talk to banker but yet here's a guy who can speed up the process waiting at the door greeting people....the manager tells the guy to help the lady and he goes to the computer and helps her....my thing is ok after him seeing me wait for over 30 mins because I was there waiting 30 mins prior to his arrival...he should have took it upon himself to tell the manager can he assist me since I was waiting for so long....then I finally get to the banker and this guy takes about 20 extra mins just for me to get a card...I lost my card a couple of times and the process was no more then 15 mins when I went to other wells Fargo banks.....just the fact that there was only 1 banker sitting down to help customers and everyone else either walking around smiling or greeting people instead of helping to get people in and out....I won't be leaving wells Fargo but I will not be attending this wells Fargo branch ANYMORE....this isn't the first time I received bad service but this time was just so bad that I had to explain my story....

I use many different branches but this one is the closest. Unfortunately there are always long lines inside and the drive thru regardless of the amount of cars in it always crawls Sooooo slow. I went thru the drive thru at 11:15 am with one vehicle in front of me and literally turned my vehicle off after 20 minutes of waiting and finally was able to pull up after 30 minutes. At first I liked this bank. Being new to NY I had the worst experience today having to call the police officer. One of the guys in the store for shutting the door In my face 3 times with one of those times almost closing my hand in the door. This is all after I kindly asked about my atm card b/c the machine took it for whatever reason. They where even rude to the police when they got there refusing to let them in as well. Just to discuss the matter of them being rude. Even the officer proceeded to call them rude by telling me if it was him he would call the 1800 # so u did and filed a complaint about the type of treatment this bank is giving Wells Fargo members. I do not appreciate being treated like that ad a member PERIOD and if I where you id never go in that bank. I will be getting the guys name that almost slammed my hand in the door tomorrow as I call the office that gave me his info to go back to the bank b/c now I have to get a placement card and as the lady on the phone apologized for how rude I was treated she had to cancel my card and re order me another card. If anyone happens to know this guy name. He is ugh skinned with some type of dreads or hair on his head and he works with opening new accounts. DO NOT LET HIM TAKE CARE OF YOU. HE IS RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL.

I called in when both my debit cards were declined and account frozen then I was told it was in the process of being closed because a teller deposited 2 checks into my account by mistake and they were stop pay of course, so instead of calling us or investigating their mistake, they close our accounts up, and say they can send us our money in the mail in 5 days! The staff and manager here (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) really went to bat to ensure that she could get her new cards quickly despite her lack of government ID (because of the aforementioned wallet theft). They had to push around the folks on the 1-800 number to get it done. It was a bright part of an otherwise frustrating day.

Using Wells Fargo has been BY FAR the worst experience with "professionals" I have ever encountered. Although I was approved for the loan and purchased the house I wanted, the process was AWFUL. They are disorganized, have NO sense of timeliness, and, truthfully, don't know their business as well as a real mortgage broker. Stay away (especially from Judy Packard, one of the "consultants").

THIS IS A MORTGAGE OFFICE - it is not a branch office; there is not an ATM, there are no tellers here. Go to Lloyd Center across from the mall for banking services.

I am a loyal customer to this specific location. Not only because it is conveniently close but the service they give is extremely helpful. I put all of my faith in a banker named Cara. She is a very kind and down to earth person. When I was in a sorry state for credit and finances she sat down with me and explained every option and helped me understand and improve my situation. She is the reason I love this bank. Knowing that someone could be honest and welcome me with a smile, remember me when I return, and call to check on my status. That is amazing. I forever feel welcomed and satisfied with my service there. I have never been to a bank that made me smile so much. I will always appreciate the people I've met at this place. I recommend this bank and location to everyone. The fast pace and qualityof service you receive here is like none other, in my opinion the very best.

Not only are the employees bright, cheerful and helpful, the ATM at this location works perfectly I deposit multiple items regularly with no hitches. The ATM area is also secure, meaning you must have a Debit card to even use this location after hours, which is a huge relief at night not having to worry about someone coming in while you are making deposits or withdrawals. I am 50 and have been dealing with banks for a long time and this is the friendliest bank and easiest I have ever been associated with.

The ATM at this branch is a pain everyday. I don't bank at Wells Fargo but use their ATM everyday to do deposits with multiple items (checks). If you deposit 20 checks or so, it scans the first one and spits the rest back out. I have resigned to putting in one check at a time which creates a line and takes sometimes up to 5 minutes to make a deposit. The new envelope free system is a joke. It only benefits the bank...they can scan the check you are depositing right away and pull the funds to work with. I have talked to the customer service at the branch regarding this issue and they act concerned but nothing ever changes. i called the 800 number on the ATM and they identified the location of the ATM and said they would "reboot" the software. In defense of this branch i have used other envelope free wells ATMs and they behave the same way. this seems more like they need an upgrade rather than a reboot.

I called the number listed on several listings of Wells Fargo online. (They all had the same number.) I reached a sloppily recorded voice mail message from someone who was on vacation. As I did not have an extension number. I was unable to reach anyone by phone. This is a public company with a listed phone number, but it seems that unless you have a 5 digit extension number you are out of luck. I am very disappointed with Wells Fargo. They apparently do not have an interest in doing any business over the phone, and I can only imagine the service I would receive if I were to show up in person. No Thanks, Wells Fargo. Nothing really special to recommend it. No accounts that offer anything that creates a reason to have one. The service is okay. The tellers are okay, but besides processing your transaction, there is nothing special, and customer service is okay, although I found Wells Fargo's policies (not specifically this branch's, or it's CSRs) are not customer friendly. In fact, when my father died, pursuant to a provision in NYS state law for small accounts, a few local and national banks provided a very simple process, while Wells Fargo refused to provide the simple process the law both allows and absolves them from liability for providing, instead requiring otherwise unnecessary court proceedings.

been going there for ever 15 years. Recently they changed half of their staff.. New Manager, Bankers are so RUDE!. New manager is EXTRA BIG and EXTRA RUDE!. I also waited on a new african american teller, he has no manners. I stood there in the line for a min or two, and the lady next to him told him that there was a customer waiting in the line. Old tellers/bankers/manager were really nice. and whatever old staff is left is friendly and always wait for them.

Alright so all my shit was stolen on thanksgiving. I've been through a few very helpful Wells Fargos but none like this. I've been traveling with no money or any kind of ID for weeks at this point because my job has me hopping from state to state I just haven't had time to get a new one. So Vanessa is the third teller to hear my sob story but she decides to ask me a ton of questions and give me a temporary debit card, knowing it may get her in trouble. She is an angel and now I can have food instead of relying on free water and the occasional diet coke to keep me going on the road. Thank you Vanessa.

I agree with the long waits. At first I thought it was an isolated experience. I've been at 10am, noon time and at 2pm. Each time I've had to wait at least 10 min and the employees seem clueless though they try to be friendly which is nice. Managers stand around monitoring but not helping the flow or speed up process when one customer is taking more time or when there's more than 5 people in line. Back home in LA the managers would step in and help or wait was never more than 5 min.

This branch does not have a night depository or an ATM and has a perpetual long line for service. If you want to make a deposit expect a 20 minute wait in line. Pathetic.

Stay away from this bank. My Granddaughter bought $150 in money orders from CVS drug stores which were backed by Wells Fargo Bank. She wound up not using the money orders and was told by CVS that she had to go a Wells Fargo Bank to get a refund. I called customer service at wells fargo corporate and asked what she had to do to get a refund. I was told if she brought in the unused money orders, her receipts showing she purchased them and identification they would be happy to refund her money. She, along with my wife went to the branch at 10600 San Jose Blvd and were told that they should go to a check cashing store to get her money. I had customer service on the phone at the time and they said the bank was wrong. I personally spoke to John Ignac, the branch manager who assured me he would find a way to resolve it. Their way was to instruct my granddaughter to go to her bank and deposit the money orders which of course they would not accept. At best, this is a story about a banking organization that has poorly trained personnel and at worst is part of a scam, targeted at people who struggle financially and may well yield them millions of dollars a year. They certainly could not be trusted with my money and I suggest you carefully consider what they are before you do business with them.

Don't even waste your time. Working with WF in Crystal Lake was such a roller coaster and I didn't even end up getting the house because of them. I called at the end of September and was told by Cristopher that they could handle my loan but would probably need an extension, even though my contract with the seller didn't expire for a month. As it turned out, not only would I need that extension but I ended up needing SIX at $225 a pop plus the fees to overnight it each time. I began to notice that I wouldn't hear anything from Cristopher until it was time for another extension and even then it was like pulling teeth to get him to give me the documentation I needed. He actually started ignoring my calls after a while and would text me that he would call me later and never would. It felt like he told me anything he could to buy himself a little more time. For weeks, each time I would actually speak with him, he would end the call with, "I'll order your appraisal for next week." It didn't end up getting completed until mid-December, just before the seller began counting down to the last extension they would allow. I called and asked if he would explain why my closing costs were an outrageous $11k and he ignored my every effort to speak with him about it. After a week, I asked again, to which he replied, "Oh, I thought you were good on that." (-_-) I eventually got to speak with the underwriter and thought we were making progress until she began ignoring my calls as well. Let me make it clear that I in no way abused the privilege of calling them. I would call and leave a message and allow them ample time (a day, even two) to return my call because I had work to do just like them and I respect that. In the end, the Friday before the expiration of my sixth and final extension, Cristopher begged me to beg the seller for another extension because he was sure he could get it done this time. Not only would they not allow me to get another extension but I didn't believe this guy for a hot second after four months of this same song and dance. After my contract expired, I called and spoke with the branch manager. She informed me that my information hadn't even been entered into their database for a month after I initially called, which just so happened to be the day the first extension was due. I was furious but not surprised. Like I said, don't even waste your time.

I would never ever deal with wells fargo again . I closed an account with wells fargo and when it came time for them to give me my cash, it was Like pulling teeth.... they proceeded to give me a cashiers check and when I went in the next day to cash it they told me that since I don't have an acct there, they couldn't cash it.....I didn't have enough funds in my new bank to cash it so I went back to explain my situation. They took my fingerprints , and after much litigation, finally handed over my cash. I will never deal with them again.

Worst customer service I have had to endure. Really don't give a damn about small clients, homeowners, individuals. It has now been 3 weeks since they held up the closing on a home, to send a lien release to the closing attorney, because the department that foes that is "too busy working on a project." So two families sit in limbo while WF takes a break from normal work, to do a project? BS.

Unfortunately, I came into this bank on a Friday to cash a certified TELLER check then deposit most of the funds for my trip this Wednesday. I was first taken aback by the lack of knowledge (and professionalism) of the tellers (and the staff in general), singing/talking loudly about unrelated things/people/staff members, etc. The teller told me that not only could I not cash the check, but that if I deposited it that there would be a 4 day hold. I spoke to the manager JUSTIN SILVERS and he made promises of releasing it after 3 days just to pacify me. I called today (the third business day) and was told that there is nothing that can be done. I called Wachovia (the 800 number) and they explained that there may have been a miscommunication but that the hold (although it should NOT have been placed) could only be released by the branch. Mr. Silvers refused to remove the hold. I am traveling today with no money. If there's another branch nearby, I would suggest you use it. Or change banks. That's what I'm doing.

Needed to get a pre-qual from Wells Fargo for a foreclosure, but it wasn't necessary to do financing through them. When I called to get the prequal, the guy explained to me that I would be "wasting his time" if he did the prequal when I knew I might finance elsewhere. I hung up the phone on him in disgust. Don't finance through them.

There isn't a category low enough for the terrible customer service we've experienced with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. We selected Wells Fargo for a refinance because they held our existing mortgage and we thought the process would be easier, it's been anything but easy! We started the process in April and finally gave up and cancelled the day closing was scheduled... JULY 22!!! We have great credit and no other debt but we've been treated like delinquents with no existing credit or track record We provided every document required by May 4th and yet in July they were still asking for updates. Every time we talked to someone there was some excuse or problems with this or that and "I passed it on so it's not my problem" attitude. Wells Fargo is the ultimate example of a giant compay that treats customers like numbers with no personal service and less than competent staff. DONT USE THEM IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT SOMETHING DONE!! We've wasted time and money with nothing to show for it but grief.
